Home gains well over 65 pounds in order to get fat and get put on disability. This would allow him to work from home. This leads to near disastrous consequences. Great fat jokes and events caused by Homer's weight. This would be fun for those dealing with COVID to watch.

16 most interesting side jobs of the hero

Homer, the hero of the most popular animated series The Simpsons, works at the Springfield nuclear power plant in almost all episodes. But working in one place for more than 600 episodes is an incredible bore, so the head of the Simpson family sometimes takes a breather and gets another job.

Homer never dreamed of spending his whole life at a nuclear power plant, so sometimes his patience ends and he goes looking for a job he likes. However, he always returned to his original place, because Homer is devoted to his family and must provide for them. Well, he already had many chances for self-realization ... two, maybe more! The editors of InPlanet remembered the coolest part-time jobs of Homer Simpson, and you can envy him! nine0003

    1Astronaut / Deep Space Homer

Who hasn't dreamed of becoming an astronaut as a child? Homer Simpson succeeded when he once again lost the title of the best worker to a graphite rod at a nuclear power plant. In anger, he catches the eye of a great idea, because NASA is just looking for an ordinary American to launch a spaceship. However, even in space, Homer manages to create real chaos, where he is again bypassed by . .. the rod!

    2Singer / Homer's Barbershop Quartet

In the fifth season, Homer reminisces about his former glory as a member of the Be Sharps. Despite the fact that the quartet has not met for eight years, he receives an offer to reunite and go on tour. However, popularity does not replace the love of the family, and all members of the group, including Homer, return home.

3 Baseball Team Mascot / Dancin' Homer

This was one of the first jobs Homer left his job at the Springfield nuclear power plant for. It all starts with Isotopes losing a baseball game, but Homer starts dancing and helps them win. The director of the team invites him to become a talisman and, leaving everything, Simpson sets off to conquer the big city. But he fails to repeat his success there ...

4Beer Baron / Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment

Fighting for justice is a job - that's exactly what Homer decides when the evil Chief Banner sets Prohibition in Springfield. The brave Homer began the fight against beer arbitrariness and even opened a mini-factory for the production of beer at home. But everything turned out to be in vain, just someone misread the document on the adoption of Prohibition 200 years ago.

    5Mayored to the Mob

Homer tried his hand at being a bodyguard when he rescued Mayor Quimby from a fight at a sci-fi exhibit. Simpson is taking a bodyguard course and is already accompanying the mayor everywhere. Along the way, he finds out about Quimby's terrible deals and almost kills him himself. But the mayor still makes the right choice and incurs the wrath of Fat Tony. In general, Homer, as usual, made havoc, which ended his career as a bodyguard. nine0003

    6The Homer They Fall

Thanks to an anomaly, Homer Simpson tried himself as a boxer. On examination, it turned out that around the brain he has an additional layer of fluid that saves him from being knocked out. At first, Homer fights only vagrants and becomes famous when boxer Drederick Tatum, who is released from prison, proposes to him. Simpson's chances are zero, but miraculously he remains without a knockout and ends his career as a boxer. nine0003

    7Bart Carny

An absurd accident helps Homer try himself as a circus performer. Bart breaks Hitler's car, and for this he and his father work off the debt at the fair. He befriends Kudler, the owner of the fair, and even invites him to stay at his house. But he turns out to be a deceiver and deprives the Simpsons of their home. And only Homer's cunning helps them find their home again!

8 Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner? nine0009

Homer decides to try his hand at being a restaurant critic despite having an IQ of 55. Lisa helps him write reviews, and everything is going great until Homer decides to give more than positive reviews. All the restaurants where he went, Lisa had to write devastating reviews. The newly minted critic is soon attacked by Lisa herself and the restaurant owners, who decide to kill him with a sweet eclair.

    9Homie the Clown

Lucky Homer also got to play the role of a clown while attending Krusty College. The famous clown has accumulated huge debts with the Springfield mafia and decided to make money by training the inept. But Homer is so successful that Krusty invites him to work as his replacement. The pretense goes too far when the mob kidnaps Homer and threatens to kill him. Good thing Krusty saves himself and Simpson at the last minute! nine0003

10 Monorail Operator / Marge vs. the Monorail

Springfield receives $3 million in compensation and uses the money to buy a monorail. Homer, of course, immediately undergoes training as a driver, but even here he will fail. It turns out that this road is built of low-quality materials and is dangerous for passengers. Only by a miracle does Homer manage to save the great minds of Springfield from certain death!

    11Dog / The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show

When Krusty the Clown's Itchy & Scratchy show drops in ratings, the producers decide to add Laika the dog. To voice it is presented to Homer, who perfectly gets used to the role. However, only Homer likes the cartoon series with Laika, and Krusty, furious, wants to kill Simpson's character. But Homer does not agree with this turn at all...

12Chief orderly / Trash of the Titans
