Summer Reading 2020-2021

Do you know that a person who reads does not need high-calorie food, and therefore, as a rule, he does not have excess weight. Reading makes the eyes sharper, develops an understanding of the world, people, and oneself. The ability to read and draw in the imagination images of heroes, their stories is not an easy, but very valuable gymnastics for the brain. The ability to concentrate, think deeply and sometimes non-trivially, empathize, dream and strive to make your dreams come true is also a merit of reading!

When the guys go on summer holidays, they have more time to read. That is why, on the eve of summer, the Lomonosov boarding school annually updates the summer reading list and distributes it to students. This list includes not only compulsory literature that will be studied in the classroom next year, but also a very rich list of additional literature, the composition of which is focused on the age interests of the children and is often compiled on the basis of conferences held at the end of the year on the topic “My book of the year ". On them, Lomonosov students share non-program works of art they have read and sunk into the soul. This is a kind of creative advertising project, which can be presented as an illustrated presentation of a book, a book trailer or just a creative oral presentation. After all, reading books that are interesting to peers is entertaining! Moreover, the teachers take the reading finds of the children into their piggy bank.

So get acquainted with our list - maybe you will find your favorite book for yourself!
