On a bright summer morning, the prince of the Kingdom of Meadow-Hill, Geoffrey, arrived in the Kingdom of Glora, seeking a bride. He was a year younger than Juliette, a year older than Rose, and two years older than Isabella. All the sisters were eager to meet the handsome prince. Prince Geoffrey first spoke to Juliette, praising her beautiful tresses. Flattered, Juliette told him how lovingly she took care of her hair. Fairy tale about a beautiful princess and a talking cat
Artist: Iris Revue
Once upon a time there was a princess. And her name was Milanta. She lived in the palace, along with her mother, father and other people who made royal life a celebration.
Milanta was a real princess: beautiful, graceful, well-mannered and a little capricious. She loved to dance, walk in the royal garden, and in the evenings look at the starry sky. It seemed to Milante that the life of stars is full of secrets and mysterious events. And mysterious events have always attracted her.
But, unfortunately, nothing mysterious happened in her life. And then one day, when the king and queen went to distant relatives, the princess went for a walk. She was followed by aunts, nannies and Milanta's favorite cat, Ganek.
The aunts and nannies fell behind while talking, and Milanta, tired of the walk, decided to sit down on a pretty stump. Not far from her, in the tall grass, the true friend of the princess, the cat Ganek, hid.
And suddenly the stump on which Milanta was sitting jumped up and the princess was on the ground. The next moment, a gnome appeared. He held out his hand to the princess and helped her up off the ground.
“Excuse me, beautiful princess,” he said, “my stumps have gone wild this year. Either they play catch-up, or they jump above their heads.
Princess Milanta looked with interest at the dwarf, who had cheerful, but somehow eccentric eyes. The dwarf's name was Ossi, he himself told the princess his name. And at the same time he told her what an unusual country he lives in.
Country Gnome is a wonderful country. And the sun in it is not yellow, the color of simple dandelions, but orange, the color of fragrant oranges. The trees in the land of the Dwarves go to bed at night. Bananas grow on trees instead of cones, and lemons grow on pine trees. In the country of Dwarves, you can take wings and fly a little. In the evening, you can watch how squirrels are embroidering with a cross, and listen to how hares buzz, imitating flies. In the country of the Dwarfs, rain can go from top to bottom, or maybe from bottom to top. As he pleases!
Princess Mylta laughed heartily as she listened to Ossi the Dwarf's stories. She really wanted to visit this wonderful country. After all, she loved everything unusual and mysterious! And she almost decided to visit the charming country, but then her beloved cat Ganek appeared and in a simple human voice told her that it was best for the princess to return home!
- Ganek! Milanta was amazed. When did you learn to speak like a human?
- I have always been able to do it, I just kept silent, because there was no special need. Now, I'm sure I have something to tell you. The place of a real princess is in a palace, not in a mysterious country where incredible events take place.
The princess had to admit that Ganek was right. But she didn't feel bad about having to return to the palace. After all, her cat has turned from an ordinary one into a mysterious, talking one.
And the mysterious has always attracted her so much!
The stars do not sleep in the high, dark sky. Maybe they are a little offended that everyone is resting, and they are forced to work. But someone has to shine!
Good night!
