WORST TV SHOW EVER MADE!!!!!!!!! Seriously! This is worse than Caillou AND Barney COMBINDED!!!

This has got to be the worst show ever made! Seriously, I could go on for HOURS explaining why I hate this show so much but to put it simple as to why this show is worse than any show, simple, GERALD! IS! ANNOYING AND UGLY!! SERIOUSLY, HE'S HIGH ON COCAIAN OR SOMETHING OR HIGH ON HILUIM (sorry for the wrong spelling if there was any)! Go watch something better like Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, or Dinosaur Train, or Odd Squad! Those shows are way more educational while also being fun and enjoyable! The Concept is soooo unoriginal, Like It's Bill Nye The Science Guy but poorly animated and awful voice acting, as well as bad casting choices! May is an OK Character and the backgrounds do look pretty good, which came on my most recent rewatch about 2 months ago, and PS, it's just got worse upon that rewatch, it feels like they only took the effort on the background and nothing else, this still does not help! Easily the worst show ever made, easily an F

    ...Okay

Not the best thing in the world, but it's alright if you want to teach your kids about STEM and other concepts. However the animation might creep out some people.

Sid The Science Kid is beautiful

This show is such a masterpiece. The episodes are thought provoking and extremely philosophical, while still managing to be extremely entertaining through the endearing characters and breathtaking CGI. However it could too philosophical for those who are looking for more lighthearted works, so when you watch it expect TONS, and I mean TONS, of deep content. Also I put age 3 and up to make it seem more appealing, because believe you me, I want to recommend this show more than is physically possible, but it is definitely NOT appropriate for that age group due to its themes. As Common Sense Media said, it’s definitely for teenagers and up due to its themes. When I was 12, I tried to watch it, but couldn’t understand it. Now that I’m 13, I understand the themes much more. Please watch it if you’re 13+, please.

    Bruh chill out

it is a pancake-flipping kids show. we are not rating the shawshank redemption. even though they are quite annoying and look like they were designed by a blind person using blender. My only concern is: what curriculum does the school follow? because every lesson seems to revolve around sid's questions.

Low effort coming from 2 10 year olds and an 8 year old

This show barely talks about Science at all plus the voice acting is really bad. The characters all seem very cookie-cutter and they don’t have very in-depth personalities. But at the same time this is a toddler cartoon it’s not like I’m reviewing some movie about finding your inner self. The pink kid is very annoying and a bad role model because he blurts out and pretends to be an animal at carpet time . Also jokes are so low effort that anything could be a joke in this show. For instance in the chart episode one of the jokes is what do you call a chart about charts? Too many charts! But hey when it show tries to incorporate teaching kids in a fun way kudos to that so to 2 stars.

Computer Mowgli - @diaries: asocial network

"Computer Mowgli" - this was the name of a secret and unique experiment, allegedly carried out by American scientists. According to press reports, "Computer Mowgli" is a virtual personality created in a secret laboratory. nine0081

This story begins with 33-year-old Nadine M., whose pregnancy was very difficult. And when the baby was born (named Sid by his parents), the doctors came to the sad conclusion that he was not viable. For several days, doctors fought for the life of the baby, supporting life in a tiny body. At the same time, with the help of special equipment, his brain was scanned. The father and mother were not informed about this procedure, as scientists were extremely skeptical about the chances of success. But to the greatest surprise of everyone, the electrical potentials of Sid's brain neurons, recorded in the computer, began to live their virtual life there. The fact that the baby died physically, but the potentials of his brain are recorded in the computer and are developing in it, was first reported only to Nadine (she took it calmly). The father, having learned about what was happening, was horrified and initially tried to destroy the program, but gradually reconciled. But he gradually reconciled, and began to treat "Computer Mowgli" as his real child. As a result, father and mother became active participants in the project, taking care of the "health" and development of computer Sid. Scientists equipped the computer with multimedia and virtual reality, which made it possible not only to see the three-dimensional Sid (and even in real size), but even to hear his voice and "pick up". nine0081

The Scientific Observer magazine, in one of its issues dedicated to this project, reported that "Computer Mowgli" was originally a secret experiment, but a special commission of the US Congress for some reason decided to acquaint the public with some of the results of the research. Of course, the name of the scientific center that carried out the mental scan of the child's brain is not reported. But, apparently, we are talking about the establishment of the US Department of Defense. The Russian media also did not remain aloof from this event. The popular science almanac "Impossible" told readers about "Computer Mowgli". His representative visited a computer conference in Las Vegas (USA), and said that this event was attended by the participants of this project - Steam Rowler. According to this scientist, during the experiment, only about 60 percent of the neurons in the baby's brain were scanned. However, this turned out to be enough for the information entered into the computer to begin to live its own life and even develop independently. So far, important details of the originally secret experiment remain unexplained: how was it possible to implement effective scanning, how fast and successful is the development of the copied intelligence, and what is its real potential? Americans are in no hurry to share their secrets. And, very possibly, they have very good reasons for this. Steam Rowler, speaking at the aforementioned conference in Las Vegas, was very concerned and hinted that the emergence of a "computer Mowgli" is a risky project with unpredictable consequences. The specialist called the brainchild of scientists a virtual demon, although written off from a living person, but in the future it poses a very serious threat to our civilization ...

After death, the child's brain continues to live and develop in the memory of the computer

"Virtual Mowgli", "Computer Mowgli" - this is the name of a mysterious virtual personality, information about which was leaked from secret American laboratories. Information about the project to create a virtual personality in the bowels of a computer is so contradictory that it either resembles a script of a poor action movie, or even just nonsense.

What is it about? It is claimed that American scientists were able to scan (mental scan!) the brain of a newborn with the help of special equipment while he was in the intensive care unit for several days. How it was possible to carry out the scan and what the mental scan means is a mystery shrouded in darkness. nine0081

Mental scanning is a subject for the activity of science fiction writers - reading and deciphering the person's own personality, way of thinking of a person. Modern science cannot afford this yet. It is even less clear what way of thinking an infant in intensive care might have...

Journalists who unearthed top-secret information claim that after the child's physical death, the recorded potentials of the neurons of his brain began to live their own life in the computer: unnatural, but meaningful; surreal, but dynamic. Leaving out questions like “What is life?”, Let us recall that even an accurate electrical model of neurons and their interconnections is neither a brain nor a computer program. Just as a photograph of a person in full growth and in the most natural color cannot be either a person or a humanoid robot. nine0081

Only 60% of the brain is said to have been scanned. However, this turned out to be enough for a person in the gloomy world of computer chips to develop into a full-fledged consciousness! This is how the world's first virtual baby was born.

Next comes the melodrama. The parents of the unfortunate child who died in the intensive care unit are reportedly involved in the project. Take care of the health of your virtual baby. They install more and more computer virus protection programs, fearing that they may adversely affect their son's mental development. Scientists have equipped the computer with multimedia gadgets, so that a virtual child can not only be seen and heard, but even “picked up”. nine0081

This is, if I may say so, an advanced tomagotchi turned out in the bowels of the American military-industrial complex. Initially, the project was of a strictly secret nature, but a special commission of the Congress decided to acquaint the public with the fantastic results of the work of this scientific center.

    CIA Zombies

... Nikolai D. boldly stepped onto the stage of the village club along with four other volunteers. A visiting hypnotist struck the imagination of provincials with miracles. People in a state of hypnotic trance were completely subject to his will: they fished for imaginary fish, undressed, feeling illusory heat, and froze from non-existent cold. The usual story. The audience was delighted. When it was Nikolai D.'s turn, something strange happened. The man seemed to be paralyzed. He could not move an arm or a leg, but he was fully conscious. The hypnotist at first thought that he had come across that rare type that did not lend itself to hypnosis, and now he was playing the fool. "Get off the stage," said the hypnotist. Some time passed before he realized that Nikolai was really paralyzed ...

He was taken (practically carried) off the stage by the hypnotist's assistants, and after several unsuccessful attempts to bring him back to normal, they called an ambulance. ..

Lately, hypnosis has been handled without due care, and meanwhile it is a terrible force, and even not fully explored.

World War II sex bomb Candy Jones raised the morale of American soldiers with her unpretentious performances in military units. Over time, her beauty faded. However, like all actresses who performed in front of the soldiers in the war, she was under the vigilant and close supervision of the CIA. The company, as its employees call the CIA, never releases those who cooperate with them. Treasures personnel! Candy Jones was found to have an exceptional sensitivity to hypnosis and suggestion. And, since it happened, something had to be done about it. In those days, secret work was already actively carried out in the field of control over human consciousness. Millions of dollars have gone into subsidizing research in the laboratories of the CIA and its subcontractors - hospitals for the insane, private clinics and laboratories, prisons and private institutions. nine0081

Candy was subjected to experiments... Some time passed... And Candy's husband Jones began to notice oddities in his wife's behavior. By coincidence, he was familiar with hypnosis and decided on a small experiment at home. He penetrated the mind of his wife and found something terrible there. Candy's personality structure was "embedded" by a man named Gilbert Jensen, who turned out to be a US Army medical officer. It was this person who was engaged in the "processing" of Candy. However, the ex-sex bombshell herself could not remember anything. Meanwhile, her husband continued to experiment with hypnosis and found out that she had received special training on a farm conspired to be a terrorist training camp. There, Candy's memory was carefully processed and her consciousness was laid down by a personality, a certain Arlene Grant, who, if necessary, began to act on the orders of the special services. nine0081

The zombie personality in Candy's body was "awakened" by a simple phone call. Candy flew to San Francisco, where, under hypnosis, she turned into Arlene and, with a passport in this name, went on a mission. She flew to Southeast Asia, or another area of the world with a special package. After the CIA stopped needing a courier, they decided to destroy her. Arlene Grant had to... throw herself off a cliff into the sea. She was saved by her husband, who managed to figure out this puzzle in time.

The book of the American journalist Walter Boyard "Mind Control" contains numerous similar facts...

How did the story with Nikolai D. and the hypnotist end? Nikolai refused hospitalization and stayed at home for a week. Gradually, the motor functions of the body were restored. There were no surprises either. The undiagnosed pains in the leg that had previously tormented Nikolai on a regular basis had disappeared. The hypnotist escaped with a slight fright.

The only document that survived from this incident, the results of an examination conducted by an ambulance doctor.
