Amazing tool for learning while having fun
Learning has never been so easy and entertaining. The application makes it so easy for the kids to learn different levels of math and reading and have a ton of fun doing it. The family is “seven selves”: no less, and perhaps even more. Of course, the family includes parents, grandparents, but still the basis is children. It is not for nothing that having many children underlies the traditional family structure of many nationalities. A big family is a strong family. People are more confident in entering an independent life if they know that they always have someone to turn to in difficult times. “A man without brothers and sisters is a lonely tree,” says an old proverb.
However, that's what they used to say in the old days... Modern families don't respect traditions so much. A large family has ceased to be a symbol of strength and reliability. The new generation has new sayings. “You can’t breed poverty,” they say in our time. Young families are sure that first you need to "stand on your feet", and then think about children. Thus, there is an attitude towards “few children”. In families, career growth and material well-being are a priority, because it is necessary to create such conditions for raising one child so that he has everything he wants. To give a child everything at once in material terms is to give him a happy childhood. At least that's what many modern parents think. Having many children is completely unreasonably associated with trouble. Unfortunately, this motivation leads to a decrease in awareness of the value of motherhood and family education.
And yet there are many families that are clearly aware of the moral family purpose and, not being afraid of difficulties, enter into the status of a "large family."
All psychologists and teachers unequivocally assert that in a large family a child has more chances to grow up as a socially adapted person.
Features of raising children in a large family
Consider the main advantages of raising children in a large family.
1. Children from large families grow up friendly
In such families, children get used to take care of each other, show respect for the interests of others, take into account the opinions of others. Once upon a time, the eldest child (first-born) got all the love and affection in the family. He grew up as a single child until the arrival of his second child. Parents always show more concern for the younger ones, but this does not mean that they love someone less. With the advent of the next child, attention switches back to the younger one, and the older child understands that the reason for this is the helplessness of the baby, and not the lack of love. The older child has already experienced this moment, such behavior of the parents does not surprise him, which means that jealousy is completely absent, as happens in families with two children. On the contrary, in a large family, older children help adults take care of the younger ones, and this strengthens brother-sister relations.
2. Families with many children are stronger
Parents in a large family are busy with important things - raising children. They do not have the opportunity to manifest negativity, since it is necessary to solve economic, economic, psychological and other problems every day. It is important to make a common decision, as it affects every person. The common responsibility for the family unites everyone. According to statistics, divorces in large families are much less common than in couples with 1-2 children.
Parents may not have time to satisfy their personal interests, but this is only at the initial stage of family formation. Over time, children will be involved in daily activities, which means that parents will have free time. And it’s more interesting to relax with children, so whole family traditions arise that grow out of parents’ hobbies.
3. Children from large families have well-developed communication skills
From birth, children in large families are included in a large flow of communication. Therefore, they grow up more sociable. This skill allows them to quickly make social connections in everyday life. And this will help in your career and future family life.
4. Children from large families know how to manage money
In a large family, children get used to saving money and from an early age know how to properly manage money. They know how to distinguish the necessary from the unnecessary and are well versed in what kind of thing to buy, and what you can completely do without. When children have a desire to have something, then, accustomed to work, they find a way to earn money on their own. Subsequently, children raised in large families, thanks to their frugality and responsibility, grow up good businessmen and entrepreneurs.
5. High ability to adapt and psychological stability
It has been noticed that children from large families quickly adapt to any category of people, since from childhood they are used to accepting the interests and desires of others. In addition, children constantly observe the actions of parents to prevent conflicts of various kinds, which allows them to absorb the necessary social skills. Children are able to perceive other children as they are, without the desire to remake someone. They are less vulnerable, more purposeful, and, as a rule, achieve their goals.
Difficulties of a large family
Still, the life of a large family is not so simple and cloudless. Forewarned is forearmed, and if your family has more than two children, be prepared for some difficulties, which, however, can also be turned into a blessing.
-
Financial difficulties. Whatever benefits the government establishes for families with many children, it must be recognized that the expenses in such families are much higher than in small families. Parents have to work hard to provide their children with a full life. In large families, they do many things on their own: they grow vegetables, maintain a household, make repairs, sew, etc. All this helps to save costs, but children get used to work and independence. Parents can be sure that in adulthood their sons and daughters will not be lost and will definitely find something for themselves.
-
Attention deficit. Every child sometimes really wants to be with his mother, tell some special secret or just complain. In a large family, this is almost impossible to do. Kids are constantly in the team. This means that, in addition to mom, one of the relatives will definitely wedged into the conversation. If parents make mistakes in upbringing, not noticing the need for attention, then there may be problems in the behavior of children, so sometimes parents need to try to set aside time to communicate with the child alone. Go for a little walk today with one child, tomorrow with another, the day after tomorrow with a third. This will help avoid a lack of attention and strengthen intra-family ties.
-
Great psychological stress. In a large family, children move to the next age stage early. However, the discrepancy between social development and age carries a great burden on the psyche. Children may develop an early tendency to leadership, the desire to take on extra responsibility. This can result in misprioritization. For example, it becomes important to take care of a younger sister, rather than studying. And on the one hand, this is good - children, as mentioned above, grow up responsible, and on the other hand, they lose their childhood. Try to keep this childhood: play with children, fool around with them, play around. This will not only relieve their psyche, but also make the family even more friendly.
-
Lack of personal space. Of course, it happens that each child in a large family has his own separate room, but this rarely happens. Most often, children will be grouped into rooms based on gender. In any case, the child is deprived of personal space, which is important enough for full development. This is probably the hardest problem to solve. But such a family will always have a common goal - to have their own big house.
A large family is a great work of parents: economic and psychological. It is not easy to pay attention to each child, to respect him as a person, to notice his problems, to overcome difficulties, to provide financially. But all these roughnesses can be smoothed out when the main thing in the family is love.
