Frames and inserts Montessori
This game was developed and successfully applied in her pedagogical activity by the Italian teacher Montessori. The game represents a set of geometric shapes in the form of frames and inserts suitable for them. With such a game, you can introduce your baby as early as 1 year. At 2 years old, he will successfully pick up simple figures.
The game develops:
- The ability to recognize geometric shapes (circle, oval, square, rectangle, triangle, five- and six-gon, etc.), distinguish them and name them correctly.
- Tactile sensations - the child makes the selection of liners to the appropriate frames with his hands, sorting through the liners with his fingers. This is a kind of "massage of the brain", stimulates mental development. Thanks to such a game, the Italian teacher Montessori at the beginning of the 19th century restored the mental abilities of retarded children to a normal level.
- Inserts can be traced with a pen or pencil, and frames can be used as stencils. In such game activities, the ability to hold a pencil and draw patterns develops. So the hand is preparing for writing.
Make a pattern
This game consists of a set of dice (16 pieces). The faces of each cube are painted in different colors: red, blue, yellow and white. Two sides are divided in half and painted in two colors (yellow/blue, red/white). Various patterns are formed from such cubes: from the simplest paths of the same color (4 cubes with the red side up), to more complex crowns, snowflakes, candies and steamboats.

KV or Cubes for everyone
This game is interesting for both children and adults. The game set consists of 7 figures, each of which is glued together from three or four cubes. The figures are painted in a certain color (white, blue, yellow, red, orange). The game begins with the recognition of figures, their identification with those drawn on paper. This series is called KV-1. You can engage in it (play) from 1.5-2 years.
In further tasks, the difficulty gradually increases. KV-2 - add a figure of two figures. KV-3 - add up from three figures. And so on. The most difficult series is KV-7. Here, tasks are not always within the power of even adults.
But for children with a developed intellect, they are feasible and interesting.

Unicube
One of Nikitin's most difficult games. It is a set of 27 cubes, which form a cube of 3x3 cubes on each side. The faces of the cubes have a certain color. Three colors are used: yellow, red and blue. By changing the arrangement of the cubes, you can complete a large cube of 27 red, yellow or blue cubes.
The simplest games start with stacking one row and one level (first row of 9 dice - 3 by 3). At the next levels, the tasks become more difficult. It is necessary to add two or three levels of a large cube in a certain color. There are also tasks in which it is necessary to lay out a well, a small cube (with an edge of 2x2 cubes), a parallelepiped in a given color.
