« Good night, kids! "- an evening educational and entertainment program for children of preschool and primary school age.

The main characters of the program are puppet characters Khryusha, Karkusha, Phil, Stepashka and others.

The plot of the program Good night, kids!

The program “Good night, kids!”, as a rule, begins with a small instructive interlude with the participation of puppet characters and a presenter, in which, using simple and understandable examples for kids and in an accessible form, it tells about “what is good and what is poorly". This is followed by a cartoon thematically related to the opening scene.

If the animated film selected for viewing is too long and does not fit within the allotted time frame, then it is divided into several parts, and the continuation of the fairy tale is postponed to the next evening.

At various times, the dolls were voiced by actors from Moscow theaters: Natalya Derzhavina (Khryusha), Natalya Golubentseva (Stepashka), Grigory Tolchinsky (Filya), Gertrude Sufimova (Karkusha), Sergei Grigoriev (Filya), Oksana Chabanyuk (Khryusha), etc.

At various times, together with the puppets, the presenters and announcers of Soviet and Russian television were on air: aunt Valya (Valentina Leontieva), uncle Volodya (Vladimir Ukhin), two aunts Tanya (Tatyana Sudets and Tatyana Vedeneeva), aunt Lina (Angelina Vovk), aunt Sveta (Svetlana Zhiltsova), Uncle Yura (Yuri Nikolaev), famous illusionist Hmayak Hakobyan (as magician Rakhat ibn Lukum), Dmitry Khaustov. In the 2000s, they were replaced by actress Anna Mikhalkova, model Oksana Fedorova, actor Viktor Bychkov, athlete Nikolai Valuev, and others.

Interesting facts about Good night, kids!

Program "Good night, kids!" appeared on the air of the Central Television of the USSR in September 1964. She turns 55 in 2019.

During the entire existence of the program, the time of its broadcast, the composition of the characters, the presenters and the channel have repeatedly changed.

Many well-known children's writers took part in the creation of the program, based on whose works cartoons were created: Alexander Kurlyandsky ("Well, you wait!", "Return of the Prodigal Parrot"), Eduard Uspensky ("Three from Prostokvashino", "Cheburashka and Gena the Crocodile" , “Coloboks are Investigating”, “Plasticine Crow” and many others), Andrey Usachev (“Smart Dog Sonya”), Roman Sef and others.

Originally "Good night, kids!" conceived under the name "A fairy tale for the night."

There were no cartoons or puppets in the first issues. The screen showed drawings of famous cartoonists, and the announcer read the text behind the scenes. Later, puppet shows and small performances for children appeared, played by artists of the Moscow Art Theater and the Theater of Satire, as well as miniatures with the participation of various characters: Tepa the Hare, Shustrik, Myamlik and even Pinocchio (all the puppets were made in the theater of Sergei Obraztsov). A little later, on the shooting of the releases of Good Night, Kids! children of four to six years old were invited, to whom well-known actors of the capital's theaters told fairy tales “for a dream to come”, talked, gave advice.

It was only at the end of the 1960s that dolls that had already become familiar to many appeared in the program: the good-natured dog Filya (1967), the sensible hare Stepashka (1970), the roguish and hooligan pig Khryusha (1971) and the talkative crow Karkusha (1982). Sometimes the cat Tsap-Tsarapych took part in the program. Later, the team was replenished with a bear cub Mishutka. From time to time, the dwarf Bukvozhka also appears in the program. Since 2009, a red-haired boy named Bibigon, the symbol of the children's TV channel of the same name, has been participating in the releases.

Good Night, Kids! repeatedly changed: the video sequence with plasticine heroes (author - Alexander Tatarsky, 1981) and the lullaby "Tired toys are sleeping" in the late 80s was replaced by a drawn garden and a lullaby - "Sleep, my joy, sleep ...". Later, the plasticine screen saver returned. In the autumn of 1999, a "dark screensaver" appeared, but it was received without enthusiasm by the audience, and therefore it was decided to return the "tired toys" with blankets and pillows.

The current screensaver of the program "Good night, kids!" appeared in September 2002, and modern kids fall asleep again to the song “Tired Toys Are Sleeping”.

In 2008, based on the program "Good night, kids!" two computer games were released - Piggy's Adventures and Stepashka's Adventures.

In 1999, the program "Good night, kids!" did not come out, because they did not find a place for her on the air grid, a detective television series was broadcast instead.

During the existence of the program "Good night, kids!" first increased from 7 minutes to 15, and then again decreased to 8 minutes.

In 1997, the program "Good night, kids!" for the first time, the TEFI award was presented as the best in the nomination "Best Children's Program". The program also won the award in 2002 and 2003.

For a long time the host of the program "Good night, kids!" sat at the table, and under him were the actors-puppeteers with their characters. Now, for the convenience of puppeteers, a second floor has been made in the studio: it is about a meter lower than the main one and is equipped with hatches. So now the puppeteers can be located under them, and the puppets can stick out through the holes.

Dolls are updated every three years, sending worn-out sets to storage. Each acting doll is brought to the studio only for the period of filming "Good night, kids!", And the animals spend the rest of the time in a special storage. They are looked after there: cleaned, combed, dressed. Here, in cardboard boxes, the entire doll wardrobe is also complicated. Fili and Stepashka have their own tailcoats with butterflies. Piggy has a real leather jacket with rivets, Karkusha has a huge number of bows.

Good night, little ones! Reboot

In August 2016, it became known about the reboot of the transmission. Popular artists Viktor Pronin and Elena Sheveleva built new scenery for the show. Boxer Nikolai Valuev joined the team - he is Uncle Kolya. According to Valuev himself, since childhood he dreamed of hosting a famous program. Designer Anastasia Zadorina updated the wardrobe of the heroes of the program - Khryusha, Stepashka, Karkusha.

Now the program will not only put children to bed, but also wake them up for kindergarten and school. On September 1, 2016, the program "Good morning, kids!" went on the air.
