Hi! I’m Geraldine. I’m a fairy princess. You may not believe me, but I can tell you that I AM. I know that I’m a fairy princess because I FEEL it inside— a sparkly feeling of just KNOWING in my heart. Also, I do EVERYTHING that fairy princesses do. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is put on my crown. (Fairy princesses are ALWAYS presentable. You never know who you might bump into . . . even on the stairs.) For breakfast I have Fairy Pancakes, with extra fairy dust on top. YUM! (Fairy princesses have very refined taste.) Then it’s time to choose my royal attire for the day. The BIG decision is which dress to wear: pink and white, pink and purple, pink and red . . . or just PINK? My brother, Stewart, says fairy princesses don’t wear sneakers and don’t have scabby knees. I say sneakers help me practice my flying skills, ESPECIALLY when we’re late for the school bus, and scabs are the price you pay. (Fairy princesses are very practical.) My best friend, Delilah, doesn’t believe that I’m a fairy princess. I say you can be whatever you want to be. You just have to let your SPARKLE out! “For instance,” I tell her, “YOU sparkle when you play the trombone.” (Fairy princesses are very supportive.) Flying is NOT allowed in class. So at school, I hang my wings up in my cubby. (Besides, they’d get squished in morning meeting.) My teacher, Miss Pym, says fairy princesses don’t fidget or interrupt. But how else can you be on the lookout for problems to solve? Sometimes you HAVE to speak up— like when our class pet, Houdini the hamster, escapes. (Fairy princesses know when to take charge.) My favorite classes are art and music. That’s when I can REALLY let my sparkle out! I use lots of glitter, sequins, and feathers when I paint. Sometimes there’s just not enough space on the wall for all my pictures! (Fairy princesses like to keep extra gifts on hand for special occasions—like when Grandma comes to visit.) All fairy princesses LOVE to sing. Once in a while I get carried away, and Mr. Higgenbottom reminds me there’s only room for one conductor in the chorus. The absolute BEST time of the week is when I have ballet after school. I wear my fluffy tutu, and twirl and whirl and leap— light as a feather! Occasionally my crown gets in the way, but I’m working on that. (Fairy princesses know that practice makes PERFECT.) Back home, it’s time for my fairy snack— pink lemonade and sugar cookies with extra sprinkles. (DOUBLE YUM!) Then it’s into the garden I go, to attend to my royal duties . . . like rescuing frogs (you never know when one might be a PRINCE!), building little houses for my fellow fairies, and exercising my unicorn. Mom calls me in for my bath. She says fairy princesses don’t have dirty fingernails. I say it’s the price you pay for having so many responsibilities! I have to remove my crown to shampoo my hair, but I make one out of BUBBLES just to tide me over. (Fairy princesses are very creative.) Stewart says fairy princesses shouldn’t watch TV before they’ve done their homework. I say even a fairy princess needs a break, to keep her sparkle from sagging! (BESIDES, how else can you keep up with the fairy news of the day?) Daddy KNOWS I’m a fairy princess. When he comes home from work, he always says, “How’s my little princess today?” So that’s all right. Being a fairy princess can be very demanding. Sometimes it’s all I can do to stay awake through dinner. (Fairy princesses need lots of beauty sleep to RECHARGE their sparkle!) Daddy carries me up to bed. Mommy tucks me in. “Sweet dreams, Gerry,” they whisper from the door. “You’ll always be our VERY fairy princess!”

How to become a princess? Tips for girls

Every little girl wants to be a princess. Surprisingly, with age, this dream is not forgotten. The already grown-up girl also dreams of putting on a ball gown and glass slippers and getting into a fairy tale at least for one evening. Grace, charm and beauty of fairy princesses fascinate. In fact, every girl can become a lady in real life, the main thing is to have a desire! But what is needed for this?

    • Duties of a princess . The first thing that everyone present pays attention to when a true lady enters the room is the appearance of a beauty. The princess must look stunning. In appearance there should be no flaws and inconsistencies. The image should reflect the impeccable taste of a fashionista, be thought out to the smallest detail and match the event. Neat, clean, ironed clothes, clean shoes matched to clothes, manicure in pastel colors, well-groomed clean hair and skin, no bright makeup - this is the princess's calling card.
    • Education and erudition . You can't become a princess without proper education. You need to be able to keep up the conversation, be erudite in many issues, so as not to get into an uncomfortable position with the answer. The princess is an ideal in every sense and in studies too. You need to try to study well, because poor study can ruin the reputation and image of the princess. Language learning should not be neglected. It is worth choosing at least one that you like and try to study it in detail. The ideal girl feels free in any country in the world. Well-read gives any girl some charm, and also allows you to be resourceful, like princesses from fairy tales and cartoons. The princess is a strong person who does not give up in the face of difficulties, but overcomes them with ease.
    • Posture and gait . By a proud camp, you can immediately distinguish a lady from the crowd. In no fairy tale did princesses walk with a crooked back and have an absurd gait. If there are already problems with posture, then special exercises must be performed. If the posture is correct, then it is necessary to control it so that the correct position of the back becomes a habit. It is also worth watching your gait. You don't have to run everywhere. The gait should be confident, unhurried and feminine. You can use the well-known exercise with a book on your head in order to work out the technique. Walk around the apartment with a book on your head and a straight back several times a day. So the muscles of the body will remember the desired position. It is noteworthy that this exercise is a favorite among models and dancers.
    • Wardrobe . When we talk about a princess, a beauty in a charming dress immediately appears. It's worth remembering. There are practically no princesses who always wear trousers or jeans. Except in a cartoon. Dresses and skirts should be the basis of the wardrobe. But you should pay special attention to the length of the clothes. Too short open things are not suitable for the image of a lady.
    • Accessories . A charming beauty should feel the measure. You can not put on all the best things at once. This also applies to accessories. They should be selected accordingly along with the event, as well as the time of day. Too bright, massive jewelry will look ridiculous during the day. The right combination of clothes and accessories will always distinguish a true lady from the crowd.
    • Manners . This point is extremely important! If all the previous ones paint externally, then education and manners paint a girl from the inside. You can't be a princess just on the outside. You will have to work on yourself from the inside. Certain mannerisms and speech distinguish a real lady from an ordinary girl. Politeness should be present in every phrase. Courtesy, benevolence, kindness and care - that's what the princess radiates. The respect and patience of a real princess can only be envied. You will never see her sorting things out with other people, you will not hear swear words and obscene language from her. A true lady is always balanced and calm. Her upbringing allows you to solve any problem without losing your composure.
    • Charity . The princess radiates goodness, she is the embodiment of justice and care. At one glance, it becomes warm and calm in the soul. And all because she sometimes forgets about her needs and all is given to helping other people and animals. She always helps those who are in a difficult life situation: she takes care of the animals in the shelter, helps others, arranges some kind of campaign or fundraising to help those in need.
    • Smile . Without a memorable smile, the image of a princess will be incomplete. There doesn't seem to be a single unsmiling princess. She charges everyone around with optimism and never loses heart. Moreover, the smile confuses ill-wishers.
    • Confidence . A true lady is a confident girl with the best of intentions. For such a position in life, it is necessary to improve oneself day by day. The gestures of the princess are plastic, there is no haste.
    • Coquetry . The princess is not always strong in all matters. Sometimes she coquettishly hides her abilities and strengths, thereby allowing young people to take care of her, and in return they happily do something good for her.
    • Cheerfulness . A real lady is always in a good mood. She tries to give a smile, be in a good mood and charge the people around her with positive.
    • Healthy lifestyle . The absence of bad habits is the life principle of a real princess. Health and beauty are more important to her than momentary weakness. She leads a healthy lifestyle, has a well-thought-out daily routine. Be sure to get enough sleep, because her beauty depends on it, she eats properly and fully, leads an active lifestyle.
    • Natural beauty . The princess takes care of herself, but does not turn it into the meaning of life. She just maintains her beauty and grooming in the ways available to her. Never does it in front of strangers.
    • Live facial expressions . Princess cheerful girl. She has a bright lively expression. She is sociable and open to new people and communication.
    • Not late . A charming beauty is never late, she arrives on time. In general, making a person wait is a sign of bad taste. Learn to follow your daily routine exactly. Less distracted by unnecessary things and then you will be in time everywhere.

As you can see, you can become a princess in real life. To do this, you just need to follow some rules. But remember that princesses make mistakes too. Do not be afraid of mistakes, do not be arrogant and arrogant. Let kindness, modesty and charm become your hallmark and then you will be guaranteed universal admiration!

What is it like to be a Princess — Look At Me

Princesses are different - fabulous and real, young and not so old, hereditary and become crowned persons in marriage, legendary and unknown to anyone.

This bewitching word "Princess" attracts the imagination of every girl from early childhood. We all once read about beautiful castles, beautiful outfits, difficult destinies, which certainly ended in a happy ending, where a handsome prince on a white horse appeared at the right moment and a happy life began. In any case, it seemed so to us, although there was not a single word about this in books and cartoons.

What is it really like to be a princess? Does she have to be born or can she become? We have to find out the answers to these difficult questions, especially since this topic is more relevant than ever in light of the recent wedding of Prince William and Lady Kate. In addition, this topic does not leave the world cinema - in the new romantic film "Monte Carlo" you can watch how simple girls from Texas reincarnated into real princesses. Now you and your friends have a great opportunity to dream and enjoy a fairy tale without leaving your home - the film will be released in excellent video and sound quality on licensed DVD from August 4th.

It seems easy to be a princess in real life - a prince, beautiful dresses, royal parties and, of course, a beautiful crown and always a sparkling noble smile on her face. At the same time, as practice shows, you do not have to be born into a royal family - everyone can become a princess!

Grace Kelly was the first to realize this magic of turning from a Cinderella into a real princess. She saw her future as a star of the world screen, successfully starred in the most popular Hollywood films and wanted to marry a fashion designer, but her life changed dramatically when she met Prince Rainier III of Monaco on one of the French Riviera, where her new film was being shot. Despite the fact that she did not have a royal origin, the prince was so fascinated by the young American actress that, contrary to tradition, he decided to connect his life with her. So, at the age of 27, the beautiful Grace became the Princess of Monaco and in the future the mother of the current reigning Prince Albert II.

The magical tradition was continued by Princess Diana - her wedding to Prince Charles of Wales was dubbed the "Wedding of the Century"! The future princess, although she was of noble blood, but at the same time her family never belonged to the royal family. From childhood, she was a modest and diligent student, kind and meek, so she was ideally suited for the role of a real princess. Having become a crowned lady, she overshadowed the entire royal family and turned into a bright star in the world sky - her concern for the needy, her sincere generosity and ability to empathize amazed and aroused great respect from the whole world, she was selfless and truly kind to people, always looked beautiful and loved her prince very much. But the love of the public played a cruel joke on her - according to the official version, the Princess died due to the fault of the paparazzi, who pursued her car in a narrow tunnel, hoping to take rare shots.

Today it is not uncommon for ordinary girls to become real princesses. Contemporary chroniclers have already entered into history the wedding of Prince Frederik of Denmark, who married an Australian teacher. The Spanish Prince Felipe of Asturias married a journalist, the Crown Prince of the Netherlands William-Alexander married an Argentinian, the daughter of an associate of the Argentine dictator. And more recently, the whole world watched with bated breath the wedding of Prince William, the son of Princess Diana, on an ordinary girl - Kate Middleton, who turned from a "Cinderella" into a real princess!

But despite all these wonderful stories, we should not forget that there are some difficulties in royal life that lie in wait for a real princess. That is why, if you are determined to become a real crowned princess at all costs, you should always remember the following:

    * The princess is always in the spotlight, she has no days off

and active social activities (charity, visits to shelters, hospitals and the poor, etc.)

    * A princess "not by blood" will never become a Queen

    * Many entertainments are "closed" for a real Princess (night clubs, noisy parties, and everything that can somehow compromise her)

    * If you are everything -became a real Princess, you will always have to live up to the acquired title both in the eyes of the public and in the eyes of the royal family - your Prince's relatives

You can always be a princess in spirit. Here, no one will forbid you to completely plunge into your own imagination and create your own magical fairy tale life. Moreover, being a fairy princess is much more simple and pleasant:

    * To be defenseless, touching and sweet. After all, it is difficult to imagine a creature more tender and in need of protection than a princess!

    * Choose everything genuine: if jewelry - then diamonds, if outfits - then from leading designers, if films - then the most interesting and of the best quality, if men - then certainly princes, if feelings - then true love.

    * Always be in a good mood. After all, the true Lady never upsets those around her with a sour look, but always behaves with dignity and smiles. Besides, princesses never have time to be bored.

    * Know good manners and look impeccable. The princess will always be betrayed by sublime behavior, aristocratic appearance and upbringing.

    * The ability to invent and believe in fairy tales. More dreamy natures than princesses cannot be found in the world. Who else with such childlike spontaneity can so sincerely believe in the existence of winged Pegasus?

    * To know that you are the one and only.

If from this moment you definitely decided that you want to become a fairy princess in reality, then you just need to get acquainted with classical and modern works about princesses - of course, the fairy tale "Cinderella" by Anderson, the ballet "Swan Lake" at the Bolshoi Theater, the comedy movie "Roman Holiday" with Audrey Hepburn, the cartoon "Sleeping Beauty" and the modern cinema interpretation of a fairy tale - the romantic film "Monte Carlo".

"Monte Carlo" is the latest and most modern film about what it's like to be a Princess. Three graduates from Texas, while on vacation in Paris, are mistaken for British aristocrats, and soon the girls go on vacation of their dreams! Lucky young girls are waiting for a private jet, diamonds, paparazzi and, of course, princes! Be sure to grab your girlfriends, and you will find yourself in the Monte Carlo fairy tale, where becoming a princess is very easy!

Choose the best experiences! Only a licensed DVD guarantees you the best picture and sound quality - you can fully immerse yourself in the world of fairy-tale transformations from Cinderella to princesses and feel yourself in the chic atmosphere of a royal palace.
