Problem: The website is blocked to my students

Do your students get a message similar to "website can't be reached"?
Solution: Contact your school's technology department, or someone at your school who's in charge of the internet, and tell them you wish to use this website with your class. They can simply unblock it by adding it to their list of approved websites within a couple of minutes.

How can I save my lists?

After you type your list, click the "Save list / Open saved list" button. Then, type a title for your list, and click the "Save" button.
You can save this way up to 24 lists. They will be stored locally in your browser's cache. Note that if you delete your browser's "history" then your saved lists might get deleted.

Problem: I can't save lists / Saved lists are erased

Your lists might not be saved due to the following reasons:
1. Too strict privacy settings in your browser. (try reducing it, or try another browser).
2. Too strict anti-virus or firewall settings. (try reducing it).
3. In schools, web administrators often disable some features of the computers such as the ability to save changes that you've made.
If you can't get your lists saved, you can always save your lists in a document, as described in the following section:

Saving lists permanently

You can save lists permanently in a text document.
Copy the sharing code (see the section below about sharing lists), and paste it inside a text document (such as MS Word or Google Docs). Type your title above it. You can paste this way as many lists as you wish. Save the document.
In most document types, when you click the sharing code it will automatically open the website with your list inside it.

How Can I share my list with my students?

After you type your list, click the "Share this list" button. An address that contains your list will appear. Copy it, and paste it in your class's website, or in your Google Classroom.

Problem: A game stopped working (can't hear sound, or the screen is black, or doesn't load)

Note that old computers (older than 4 years) might have trouble running some of the games.

Solutions:
1. Try reloading the page (use the "reload" button on the browser, or the F5 key on the keyboard).

"Generals and soldiers"

Note: can be used to consolidate the studied material in any lesson, for example, in the Russian language lesson on the topic: "Spelling unstressed vowels at the root of a word."

Purpose of : to improve the ability to check the spelling of unstressed vowels in the root of a word.

Equipment :

Cards with letters a and o

Cards with words missing an unstressed vowel a or o

Game progress

1. The children are announced that they have entered the “intelligence school”, in which there are generals and soldiers.

2.Children (optionally) have cards with “secret passwords” on the tables, which must be read and not shown to anyone.

3. Those who have cards with the letters a and o - GENERALS, and the rest - SOLDIERS.

4.Children - generals go to the board and attach their cards. The main goal of the GENERALS is to assemble their team and not let the "spies" through.

5. Children - soldiers read the words and check which vowel they will write. The main goal of SOLDIERS is to find their GENERAL.

6. At the teacher's signal, the SOLDIERS one by one go to the blackboard and attach a card in accordance with the unstressed vowel. The generals control their work, if they notice a "spy" - they stop and explain what the mistake is.

Carousel

Note: can be used to reinforce the learned material in any lesson: composition of numbers, oral calculations, reading syllables and words, etc. For example, in a Russian language lesson to consolidate knowledge of vocabulary words.

Purpose : to improve the knowledge of vocabulary words.

Equipment :

Cards with words missing "dangerous" spellings

(the "dangerous" letter is written on the back with a simple pencil to make it easier to check)

Game progress

1. The class is divided into two parts. The groups form two circles, outer and inner, so that the participants are facing each other in pairs (the student from the outer circle is opposite the student from the inner one, who has a card with a vocabulary word).

2. At the signal of the teacher, the children start the game.

3. Pairs of the "carousel" greet each other, complete the task - they say which letter is missing.

4. At the teacher's signal, the guys from the outer circle take a step to the right. The inner circle remains in place. Then the children complete the task with a new partner and again move on a signal, the game continues until the “carousel” returns to its initial position.
