My kids love to play pretend, as I’m pretty sure most kids do.  They especially love playing anything that allows them to be ‘grown-up’ and do and act as grown-ups do.

Several months ago a few of my kids wanted to play restaurant, so I thought I would make up a printable menu.  Then I thought again, why don’t I see if I can find one that someone has already made and save myself some time.  So I did, and I found an awesome one that also has little tickets for you to take orders on (it’s the first link listed under Restaurant).

Then I got to thinking, if someone has made restaurant printables, surely someone has made some for other pretend play themes.  So onto the internet I went searching high and low for quality (and FREE) pretend play printables.

And here is what I found!  I hope your kids (and you) enjoy them as much as we have.

Heart Secrets of the Tennis Queen

Maria Sharapova is not only the winner of the career Grand Slam award, but also the record holder for advertising earnings, as well as an indispensable participant in social events and the object of paparazzi attacks.

No wonder the public is eager to know - who is her official boyfriend today? Until now, many famous athletes, prominent representatives of American show business and a scandalous Russian politician have been in this status.

THE FIRST TENNIS NOVEL

Maria left Russia for the famous Nika Bollitieri Academy in Florida as a girl and also began her professional career very early, at the age of 14. Well, at 16, like many of her peers, she fell in love. The object of attention of the young Russian woman was the Spanish tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero, who was eight years older than her. Sharapova tried not to miss a single game with the participation of the object of her adoration, looked for the Spaniard at buffet tables that ended tournaments, constantly sent SMS and literally incinerated her lover with her eyes during his matches. Adult uncles and aunts from the Spanish newspapers were ironic with might and main on the pages of their publications over the rising star of world tennis.

Love, which inadvertently descended, found Ferrero at the peak of his career. The tennis player, nicknamed the Mosquito, won the Roland Garros in 2003, reached the final of the US Open and was the first racket of the world for eight weeks. Juan Carlos remained on the professional tour until 2012. Having played the final match at the tournament in Valencia, he received a special award from his namesake, the king of Spain.

Naturally, the 24-year-old handsome man did not pay much attention to the 16-year-old girl. Ferrero always and in everything was distinguished by a serious approach to business. Even at the peak of his career, he thought about what he would do after graduation. He opened his own tennis academy, after lessons in which Briton Andy Murray became the first racket of the world. Fifteen minutes away, he bought a house and invested seven million dollars to convert it into a luxury hotel with rooms ranging from 250 to 990 euros. Somehow, Sharapova, who had already achieved star status, stopped in it.

Outside the court, the handsome Ferrero did not remain without female attention. His choice fell on the Spanish model Eva Alonso. In September 2014, she gave birth to his daughter, and the following year the marriage ceremony took place. Sharapova was not invited to it. And by this time she herself had long forgotten about the first girlish dreams.

In 2005, at the tennis award ceremony, the Russian woman met the American Andy Roddick. Literally immediately, American tabloids began to write about the romance that broke out between the two stars. True, neither Maria nor Andy confirmed this information. Until Sharapova turned 19, and she began to be considered an adult under American law. Tennis players even spent a romantic vacation together in Santa Barbara, but he put an end to their relationship.

Roddick married actress and model Brooklyn Dekker, with whom he starred in the film Pretend to be My Wife, as himself. A two-year acting-tennis romance ended in April 2009 with a wedding, and two years ago, a son, Henk, appeared in a happy family.

YOUR EXPECTATIONS ARE YOUR CHALLENGES

Between the two tennis players, a place in the heart, or rather, in Sharapova's house in California, was occupied at that time by a little-known character. Former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and now a senator from the Vladimir region, Anton Belyakov, gained, albeit dubious, but all-Russian fame during the football Euro 2012. It was he who in Warsaw, on behalf of the multi-million army of Russian fans, demanded an answer to the question why the players of Dick Advocaat's team did not live up to expectations. And he ran into Andrey Arshavin's remark, which has become a classic: "Your expectations are your problems."

It is difficult to say what the beginning Russian politician expected from the Russian tennis player. The graduate of the Medical Institute lost his first elections to the State Duma in 2003 in a single-seat constituency. Like the election of the mayor of Vladimir in 2005. Between the two election campaigns, he spent time in the company of the then world tennis star at her villa in San Diego.

This novel ended sadly. The American police received a statement from Sharapova, who accused her boyfriend of "beating and other violent acts, including of a sexual nature." Belyakov allegedly committed them while in a state of strong alcohol and drug intoxication. In his comments, he himself called these statements a provocation, which was staged in order to interfere with his political career. If someone set such a goal, then the expectations were not met.

Twice Belyakov was elected to the State Duma on the lists of A Just Russia. As a deputy, he got into scandalous stories more than once. Once he did not even share the road with a column of military equipment returning from a parade on Red Square. But how could this interfere with the political career of a man who sent a request to the Prosecutor General of Russia, Yuri Chaika, with a request to check whether Boris Nemtsov's activities were financed from abroad.

BUSINESS LADY IN SHOW BUSINESS

Almost at the same time as with Roddick, the Russian tennis player met musician Adam Levin in one of the New York clubs. He even performed a romantic composition for Maria, who was celebrating her 18th birthday. In America, Levin is very famous, and the local press relishes all the details of his biography with pleasure.

Adam's parents divorced when he was seven years old. On weekdays he lived with his mother, on weekends he visited his father. The boy even went through therapy in connection with the divorce of his parents, but still considers it a waste of time. As a child, Adam played on the basketball team coached by his father. In the school championship, he made a last-second throw that brought his team victory. After that, by his own admission, he turned into an optimist and self-confident tomboy. He attended a private school in Los Angeles, where he formed his own band.

Levin's former girlfriends include such celebrities as Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz, as well as the very popular Russian model Anna Vyalitsina in the United States, acting under the name Ann Vee. Well, Sharapova is in a worthy place. Although Adam himself, when he was one of America's most promising suitors, most of all yearned for former Vogue editor Jane Herman. They met when Adam was still at school, they were together for four years, and the musician was very upset by the breakup. He dedicated his debut album Songs of Jane to his ex.

The British tabloid The Sun wrote about the reasons for Levin's breakup with Sharapova. The following revelations of the musician appeared on the pages of this publication: “During sex, she did not make a sound. You can't even imagine how disappointed I was! She got angry when I started moaning and said that it interfered with her concentration.” Adam himself strongly denied the words attributed to him. And the manner of playing Sharapova on the court, where her moans have become a byword, casts doubt on the version of the omniscient British journalists.

The parting of Adam and Mary, however, passed quietly and almost imperceptibly. In 2012, Levin met the famous model Behati Prinsloo. The daughter of a missionary grew up in the heart of Africa, in Namibia. She started her career in South Africa and then moved to the USA. The wedding took place in the summer of 2014, and in September last year, a daughter, Dusty Rose, appeared in the family.

After Levin, the son of a TV mogul and promising producer Charlie Ebersol became Maria's official boyfriend. Most often, the couple attended matches of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, of which Charlie was a fan. He introduced his Russian girlfriend to the world of big basketball, which he probably later regretted. However, as usual among the sons of TV magnates, Charlie did not long for long. Britney Spears herself became his girlfriend.

After breaking up with lawyer David Lucado (allegedly because of his infidelity), the pop diva became depressed. Having met Charlie Ebersol, the singer changed, got prettier and even lost five kilograms. Almost all American tabloids did not fail to note this. Like the fact that before Britney, her boyfriend had an affair with Sharapova.

ENGAGEMENT BY RECOMMENDATION IMG

It was Ebersol who introduced Sharapova to basketball player Sasha Vujacic. The son of a Serbian coach was born in the Slovenian city of Maribor, which, like all of Slovenia, was then still part of the united Yugoslavia. Accordingly, Sasha played for the national team of this country. After spending three seasons in the Italian championship, Vujacic moved to the NBA and began playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The first paparazzi pictures that captured Sasha next to Masha were taken at a U-2 concert in 2009. Soon they were constantly spotted together, and Vuyachich received the honorary title of the official boyfriend of the tennis player. In October 2010, he even made her an official offer, handing her a quarter-million-dollar engagement ring. This information was published by the official website of the basketball club for which the Slovenian legionnaire played. It's boring to write about block shots and slam dunks! The basketball player himself confirmed the engagement after the Lakers met with the most principled rival in the NBA - the Golden State club from San Francisco. “We are engaged and very happy,” Vujacic said at the time.

Meanwhile, people versed in the nuances of show business from the very beginning expressed great doubts about the seriousness of this novel. The fact is that both Vujacic and Sharapova were (and still are) clients of one of the most influential sports marketing agencies IMG. For the specialists of this company, it is not difficult to promote this or that star in order to subsequently monetize its popularity in the form of advertising contracts. Evil tongues even claim that the company's staff list has a special department that selects potential brides and grooms. Marriage is desirable, but not required.

On the eve of Wimbledon 2011, a scandalous article “Operation Return of Queen Mary” appeared in one of the Canadian newspapers. It described in detail how the romance between Vuyachich and Sharapova was supposed to end. A wedding was planned for July 30 at the Russian tennis player's villa in Florida, and the apotheosis of the celebrations was to be a wedding in the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Savior after the final of the Federation Cup in Moscow. The ethnic Serb Vuyachich was even better suited for this purpose than the scandalous deputy Belyakov - few people know the Vladimir politician even in his native region.

According to the idea of the authors of the marriage project with the participation of a basketball player and a tennis player, it was planned to earn $50 million from advertising, the sale of broadcasting and publication rights, as well as the sale of souvenirs. These plans were violated by Petra Kvitova. The Czech sensationally defeated Sharapova in the Grand Slam final. After that, the sponsors did not want to hear about any wedding. Functionaries from IMG postponed it until better times.

In the world of show business, everything has to happen at the right time. Here is one of the main socialites of America, Kim Kardashian, married basketball player Kris Humphreys on time. And nothing that a high-profile divorce followed 72 days after the start of family life! Former spouses managed to replenish their bank accounts during this time.

Vujacic and Sharapova did not work out. In the summer of 2012, the tennis player announced her breakup with her failed fiancé. By this time, Vuyachich's career was in decline. He left the NBA to play for Turkish club Anadolu Efes. What kind of romance is there when Sasha had to work out his legionary bread on the banks of the Bosphorus, and Maria played in the most prestigious tournaments in different parts of the world!

GUY DON'T MISS

It is curious that Sharapova's next official boyfriend is also an IMG client. With the Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, the Russian beauty was first spotted by the paparazzi at the end of 2012 in Milan. Naturally, for the favorite pastime of all women - shopping. Sharapova herself confirmed her new romance only next spring. Dimitrov was more outspoken.

“We both played in the autumn series of tennis tournaments in China,” he said in an interview. I'm in Shanghai, she's in Beijing. At dinner I watched a match with Maria on TV and decided to send an e-mail. They began to correspond, and at the end of the year they met. Many are even afraid to approach Mary, they consider her impregnable. It was not difficult for me after talking on the Internet.

Grigor emphasized that he did not accept the label "golden couple", which reporters immediately pasted on handsome young people. “For me, she is not a famous champion, but just Maria,” said the Bulgarian tennis player, who himself has achieved considerable success, entering the top ten strongest in the world. - Human qualities of a friend are important to me. We spend our free time like any couple: we walk, have dinner, go shopping together.”

For a year and a half of a relationship that could not be hidden (and the tennis players themselves did not particularly strive to do this), they spent a lot of time together. Both Dimitrov and Sharapova tried to make tournament schedules so as to play as often as possible in the same city. Fortunately, many paired tournaments have appeared in the tennis calendar lately. In the spring of 2014, having opened a window in the tournament schedule, Grigor and Maria went on a romantic trip to Mexico. Nothing foreshadowed a break, but already at Wimbledon, which is traditionally held in the height of summer, a black cat ran between the tennis players.

The reasons can only be guessed at. Both Grigor and Maria try to protect their personal lives from prying eyes as much as possible. Although once Sharapova could not resist and called Dimitrov the best thing that had ever happened to her in her life. There was in their relationship a story about 500 roses given to Maria by her beloved (for a million, about which Pugacheva sang, even tennis earnings are not enough, and there are problems with delivery), and rumors about Sharapova's pregnancy, and even her quarrel with Serena Williams. The American allowed herself in one of the interviews to unambiguously hint at her romance with Dimitrov and say that he had a “black heart”.

The Bulgarian is generally called the main heartthrob of world tennis. This apt definition belongs to the ex-first racket of the world and exemplary family man Novak Djokovic. Nevertheless, Grigor failed to lead the Russian beauty down the aisle. After breaking up with her boyfriend, Sharapova deleted from social networks all the pictures in which she was next to Dimitrov. We must pay tribute to the Bulgarian tennis player: during the persecution that Maria underwent during the period of disqualification for doping, he supported her in every possible way. At a recent tournament in Madrid, where their paths crossed again, he was next to Sharapova and had a nice conversation with her about something. Although there is no talk of resuming the novel.

Maria herself formulated the style of relationships with men as follows: “I give them a chance, I trust until they themselves show whether they are bad or good.” As they say, go for it guys.

... Sharapova's return to tennis took place in April 2017 at a tournament in Stuttgart. After that, she received special invitations to prestigious tournaments in Madrid and Rome. Restoring Maria's rating and reputation is not easy. Many tennis players condemn the organizers of the competition, which provide the Russian woman with a wild card. Those lead in response to a compelling argument: the presence of Sharapova by an order of magnitude raises interest in the competition. Fans and the press are interested in everything, up to personal life. At a press conference in Rome, a local reporter did not hesitate to directly ask Maria who is now in the status of her official boyfriend. The tennis player’s answer was instant: “Are you married?” ...

The latest information about her personal life dates back to October 2018, when Maria posted a photo of British millionaire Alexander Gilks on her Instagram account and confirmed their romantic relationship.

9-10: Kemet and Lords of Waterdeep in Igromaster

Another meeting of ours took place, this time again in the Igromaster. Four of us played Kemet and Lords of Waterdeep .

In my box Kemet I played only twice with my husband, and this is not the type of game that goes well for two, so I could not add up my opinion about the game. This time we planned to play with five players, but the game ended up with four players. Alas, the Snactuary of All Gods (a location that is only used when playing with three or five players) was not tested again and I don’t know when it will be..

As for the game: I'll tell you right away that I haven't formed a final opinion yet. In principle, I like the dudes on the map genre (“dudes on the field”), but I already have several games from it that are hard to compare with.

Kemet seemed to be harder to get into and start playing well than all my other games like Blood Rage, Cyclades, Nexus Ops. And all because of the fact that it is precisely the hallmark of this game: a large number of technologies, thanks to which players get unique (almost) properties and skills. There are 48 of them in the game! Eyes run wide, the properties of all, of course, you don’t remember what to choose and how to use - you won’t understand right away. For example, I bought some monsters and skills that seemed cool, in the end I almost didn’t use them ... But everyone immediately ran to buy them in the first round, and I went there too, of course. Plus, in order to act correctly, you need to understand and remember which tiles the neighbors took and how they can “surprise” you, you still need to play and play to this level.

Plus, in Kemet, it seemed to me that you have to plan harder and more in advance. In all other games, it’s easier for me to do this (in the Nexus there are secret goals that you can focus on, in the Cyclades there are available gods and what is enough money for, in Blood Rage quests, loot rewards and Ragnarok). In Kemet, I personally have not yet been able to find these landmarks that would help come up with a strategy, except for bonuses for sanctuaries. Yes, there are victory points, but there are a lot of ways to get them, my brains in a bunch are not going to think through everything..

I also thought that playing is a little more difficult, because not all information about the opponent is visible on the field. In the Cyclades, everything is on the field and it is worth taking a look at it to understand what's what. Also in Nexus Ops. There are clan upgrades in Blood Rage, they are on personal tablets, but there are a maximum of 3 for each, it's easy to see.

I like the system where how many moves you can make is determined by whether you have some kind of resource (in this case ankhs). And I like the combat on the maps (better than the dice roll in the Cyclades, more influence on the outcome of the battle). I like that points can be obtained in different ways: yes, war and capture are their main source here, of course, but some points can also be obtained by peaceful development (through pyramids and buying tiles and creatures). And I love the pyramids! Cool and the component itself, and the mechanism.

In general, I personally like the game a little less than Cyclades and Blood Rage. But I see the potential and understand that when you play not the first and not the second game, when you know the tiles well and understand what your opponents can and cannot do, this will be a very good game! There are more strategies here than in the same Cyclades, for example.

Take our last two rounds. So much drama, so much tension, so many fateful decisions! Some of them will be remembered for a very long time :))) But in general, I showed myself in our party very poorly: I squandered my troops, fought indistinctly (got into a fight where I had no chance of winning), did not use tiles, creatures , I always lacked "ankhs", etc. There is a great desire to play again and show your best side :) Plus, try a couple of things from the add-on that are already asking for and worth adding: turn order + alternative definition of the winner.

After the war they played something new for me: Lords of Waterdeep . I have heard about this game for a long time and I was interested in laudatory reviews, high ratings. I really wanted to try.

The game is very simple, explained quickly, played very lively and easily. I (me!) have been accused of downtime, how fast moves are made here!

Mechanics: Placement of workers to obtain resources and exchange them for points. What disappointed: well, it is completely abstract. What Dungeons & Dragons? Cards, meeples and cubes, we didn’t even read the text there and only glanced at the pictures. You don’t feel themes and atmosphere at all :(

Good: I really liked the intrigues. Not only is it an opportunity to do well for yourself + bad / good for someone else, and I always love this. So this is also an opportunity to use this meeple a second time later! It is very useful, especially since you have only two meeples up to the 5th round, and this is very little. Intrigues, on the other hand, sometimes allow you to get a resource, and points, and then put a miple somewhere. Great.

I also liked buildings: locations that you first buy and then put on the field, and then everyone can use it, and you will get money/resources/victory points for it. Cool thing. Although not all buildings are equally useful, of course, but I really like this idea.

I would like to single out these two chips separately, the rest as a whole is no different from many other games. And to be honest, I don’t quite understand the 43rd place of the game in the BGG top (37th in the list of strategies!). The game is quite good and cute, but not that much, in my opinion. I really missed more atmosphere and, perhaps, more hardcore, everything was quite straightforward and easy here. Although, maybe that's why she's so high, by the way.

By the way, I won! Handsomely! With a powerful lead over the other three players, who stopped close to each other, and I rode much further :) I will play again on occasion, and with pleasure, but I will not buy myself.
