Try to explain! | Silamedia

If you have already completed almost all the important things or you need a break before a productive breakthrough, play our game with your colleagues: try to explain a punch switcher, adaptive design and other words from the world of media in a minute.

Another game is ideal for explaining to family and friends what multimedia is and what you still do at work.

This is a game for companies of 4 people, it contains 48 cards of 8 words from the world of media each. The point is to guess the words when the participants take turns explaining them without using the same root words. Divide into teams of 2-3 people and take turns explaining to your team the words from the cards. The first team to reach the finish line or score the required number of points wins.

small items that will be playing pieces - one from the team, for example, a paper clip, a ring, a pen cap - you will move them around the field. You will also need a watch or a timer on your phone - the referee will time it; if everyone present plays, then the teams follow the time in turn. Each team is given 1 minute to guess. At the beginning of the game, all chips are on "START".

First round

The referee marks a minute, after that one of the participants of the first team turns over the top card without showing it to other participants, and explains the word number 1 (you cannot use the same root words *). If the team guessed the word, the guesser turns over the next card in order and explains the word number 1. And so on until the minute expires. You need to guess as many words as possible. Members of other teams should not prompt guessers. Move the chip as many steps forward as the team managed to guess the words. If not a single word is guessed, then the chip remains at the start, and in the next round this team will again begin to guess the words at number 1. Fold the cards into the second pile face down.

Then, in turn, all teams also guess the maximum number of words under number 1 per minute, while taking cards from the first pile.

Second and subsequent rounds

Each new round starts with the team that started first - the participant takes a new card and explains the word under the number that corresponds to the number on which the team chip is placed. Similar to the first round, you need to guess as many words as possible under the same number, opening the cards in turn. In this case, the same participant cannot explain the words in each round.

If the team token is on the Powermedia logo, words from one card are played, but the explainer must show the meaning of the word in pantomime.

When the minute is up, move your team token forward as many steps as the number of words your team guessed in the round, or stay where you are if there are no words guessed. Put the taken cards in the second deck face down.

The next team continues the game according to the same principle: guesses the words under the numbers corresponding to the number under the team's chip. When the cards in the first pile run out, shuffle the cards in the second pile and continue playing.

Winner

The first team to reach the finish line wins - they leave the last eight in the "snake".

* If a participant used a single-root word or said the word that he explained, the points earned in the round are not counted for the team, and the move goes to the next team.

Actor Pasha Olkov: “I carry textbooks with me everywhere” | Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy

PRESS

All articlesJanuary February March April May June July August September October November December951994199319921991

September 30, 2015, Yulia YASYUCHENIA, "Zorka"

From the very morning Pasha Olkov didn't utter a word. What do you think was the reason for the silence? Maybe a sore throat? Or offended by someone? In fact, the reason is much more original: the twelve-year-old actor simply took care of his voice. Indeed, the premiere was planned for the boy in Minsk: he made his debut in the title role in the musical “Cat”, which the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy showed on the stage of the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theatre.

Despite his young age, it is not the first time for Pasha to perform in front of a full house of spectators. He played in the performances “Night of Open Doors”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Fly-Club”, “Scarlet Sails”, “Thumbelina”, “Pit”. There were also the main roles: for example, in the musical "Pinocchio" a sixth grader reincarnated as a wooden prankster in a cap, adored by the children. By the way, it was this role that brought fame to the student. Now he is a star for all kids! A little embarrassed, Pasha admits that in his native Yekaterinburg, the little ones often recognize him and joyfully shout to the whole street: “Mom, mom, look: Pinocchio is out!” They often ask to be photographed together as a keepsake. But autographs have not yet been distributed. Junkors "Zorka", however, instantly corrected such an oversight and after the premiere performance of "Cat" they asked a peer to write a wish for the readers of the newspaper. At the same time, they found out about the acting life.

– Do you remember how it all started?

- A few years ago, I studied at the White Crow children's art club. The vocal teacher noticed that I had good vocal and acting skills and advised me to try my hand at the children's studio of the Sverdlovsk Musical Comedy. The most difficult thing then was to make friends with the guys who had been studying there for a long time. Although, probably, it is always difficult for a beginner to break into an established team. Therefore, it took a lot of time to overcome the wall of misunderstanding, to find common interests.

- Who would you especially like to play?

- Poodle Artemon and Arlekino in Pinocchio, Moth in Thumbelina.

– Are you really ready to trade the main role for a secondary one?!

– Of course! I want to try something new, perform in other roles.

– Did you get into funny situations at the performance?

- One day the technicians raised the curtain during the intermission. At that moment, the rehearsal of the second act was actively underway on the stage. The audience laughed heartily at the actors fleeing behind the scenery. And once Karabas-Barabas mixed up the line. For some reason, I decided that in the current situation, it was most logical to run away. Because of such improvisation, the script of the performance had to be changed on the go. Oh what happened! (Laughs.) Well, at least we finished with the usual ending for the audience.

– What about theater premieres, superstitions?

– Under no circumstances should two actors make their debut in a play. No more than one newcomer - an iron rule.

– Please continue the phrase: an actor should never…

– …talk to a partner before going on stage. Usually in the last minutes a person repeats the text with concentration. If you start talking about a popular cartoon or a joke you read recently, then, most likely, even the most experienced artist will completely forget his words.

– How do you manage to combine touring and studying? After all, while you are here, your classmates are fighting with might and main with puzzles and unstressed vowels in the classroom.

- I'm very worried that now I'm not at my desk in my native 6th "D" of Yekaterinburg school No. 16. I don't want to be far behind those who attend classes every day. And then you will return - and you will pick up a full diary of deuces! Although this has never happened. I carry textbooks with me everywhere.
