Don’t Know What Song to Listen to Next? Try These 4 Websites

If you listen to music frequently, then you’re no doubt aware of the constant struggle to find new music to listen to. Sure, you may have long playlists of songs that you love, but when you want something fresh and new, it can be pretty difficult to find what you’re looking for.

Fortunately, you’re not alone in this problem. There are a bunch of sites online that try to solve this problem. Here are four of the best.

First up on this list comes Chosic’s similar songs finder. If you’re looking for something intuitive yet surprisingly feature-rich, then Chosic is an excellent choice when it comes to finding new music. Chosic itself is actually a site dedicated to royalty-free music, but there are a bunch of other tools available on its website, with the similar songs finder being one of them.

Once you’re there, you’ll find a ton of different options on how to search for playlists. You can pick moods and genres to help you find new music, but Chosic’s biggest appeal here is with specific songs.

All you have to do is enter a song name into the search bar, and you’ll be good to go. If you've just downloaded one of the best music recognitions apps to accurately find songs by tune, then this is a great next step to find new music.

There are options here you can customize as well. You can adjust the length of the playlist if you want something longer, and there are a series of sliders that determine which parts of the song you want to find similarities with, such as the vocals or the instrumentals. You don’t need to adjust these at first, however.

Instead, once you pick the song you want to find others like, Chosic will immediately create a playlist based on your choice. It’ll start with the song you’ve chosen and then move on from there.

You can play the playlist on both YouTube and on Spotify, and you can even tweak it if you don’t like what Chosic’s created. For example, you can adjust how it chooses similar songs through different categories such as energy, popularity, and more.

Next up, we have Tunebat. If you’re more musically inclined, then Tunebat may be the best option available out there to find new music. Tunebat is pretty straightforward and quite easy to pick up. All you have to do is input the name of your song and then choose the specific song that you’re thinking of from the list.

Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, Tunebat will give you a whole host of information on that song in particular. Some of it is somewhat arbitrary. For example, Tunebat gives out scores on a scale from zero to 100 for a variety of values such as happiness, danceability, and liveness.

It also gives more concrete values, such as the key the song is in, the BPM, duration, and Camelot values. The combination of both of these types of values is what Tunebat uses to give you other songs that are similar to the first. Initially, these are just songs that will mix well with the original. Songs with similar or complementary keys, BPM, and other values, for example.

Tunebat will also give recommendations that won’t exactly mix well with the original song, but are still similar. If you’re not doing anything particularly musical, such as mixing or remixing, then this may be the better place to find similar songs.

Same That Tune is a bit of a departure from some of the other entries on this list in that it isn’t an online service like many of the others, but rather a blog. All the same, Same That Tune is a surprisingly insightful way to get a feel for similar music to what you’re listening to or know you already love.

Essentially, Same That Tune is a blog updated every week or so that shows off two songs that share some sort of impressive similarity. This could be vocal riffs that are suspiciously similar, chord progressions that are the same, and more.

The blog is partially powered by fan submissions, and you can often see discourse in the comments for any post, which can help you to find other songs that are similar to what you’re looking at.

You can search through the blog itself using its search bar, and can filter by genre or similarity through the drop-down menus at the top of the page.

If you’re looking for something very specific, then there may be better options on this list, but if you enjoy a range of music and are just casually browsing for something new to listen to, then this is a great resource.

Perhaps surprising to some of you, YouTube is the final entry onto this list. Many think of YouTube as a place purely to watch videos, but there is a huge range of music available on this service as well. Just about any music video that is created nowadays gets uploaded there, and you’re able to find all sorts of niche songs as well.

The best way to find new music on YouTube, however, is just to listen to it. It can help, especially if you make a new account for this step, but will work regardless of whether you do or don’t.

YouTube will try to recommend you new videos to watch based on your viewing preferences. If you just listen to the type of music that you like or are hoping to find more like on a regular basis, then YouTube will begin to recommend you new songs or music based on what you’re listening to.

Alternatively, if you watch a lot of YouTube but can’t seem to find the type of music being featured in the videos that you like, you can always find out how to identify music and songs in YouTube videos. That way, you’ll be set, no matter what type of content appears on your YouTube feed.

Find the Perfect Music for You

As you can see, there are a ton of different ways to find new music to listen to. No matter how musically inclined you may be, or what type of music that you’re looking for, there are a bunch of different ways to discover new content online.

Andrew Wiggins: "I'll try listening to K-pop. Especially Bam-Bam - Basketball

Golden State forward Andrew Wiggins has admitted he's not a fan of K-pop, but after singer Bam-Bam backed him in voting for All-Star Game starting fives, he'll try listening to Korean pop music.

“That's cool. He's a pretty popular guy and he helped me get a lot of votes. I have never heard of him, but now I will never forget.

No, I'm not a K-pop fan. But I'll try to listen. Especially Bam-Bam,” Wiggins said.

One of the reasons Wiggins made the starting five for the 2022 All-Star Game was the support from Bam-Bam, who is a member of the South Korean group GOT7. The Thai singer tweeted in support of Wiggins. The post of the musician, who has 9.4 million subscribers, has collected 68.1 thousand likes and 36.8 thousand retweets.

Why people love and hate voice messages

Voice messages have changed how people communicate. On the one hand, when you record by voice, you can not call. On the other hand, long “voices” are annoying to listen to - my friend often encounters this when she has to listen to a boring story for 2-3 minutes. It's good that WhatsApp now has the ability to increase the speed of listening. The fashion for audio messages has given rise to many jokes and memes that will be relevant for a very long time. How to live in the world of voice messages?

What do you need to know about voice messages?

    Contents

    • 1 Why people don't like voice messages
    • 2 When voice messages are appropriate
    • 3 Should voice messages be sent
    • 4 Why voice mail is needed

Why people don't like2 voice messages 902 convenient for those who send them. We rarely think about whether it is convenient for the recipient to listen to them. And how much anger falls on those who skip them or listen after a while! It seems that such people are annoying by default with their arrogance - you see, now there is no way to listen.

What could be easier than putting the phone to your ear?

That feeling when I received another voice

Voice (from English voice) - everything connected with the voice. Voices can be called voice messages, recordings, etc.

What else is wrong with this way of communicating?

    • Voice messages take longer to listen to than to read text. Unfortunately, it all depends on the manner of communication: someone speaks faster, quickly formulates a thought, while others are in no hurry, slowly and measuredly remembering what they wanted to say. This is infuriating, but listening at increased speed helps out. As a result, a quick reading of the message will be more useful than a two-minute voice.
    • Voices often record at street. There is nothing better than recording them while standing in the wind. The one who has to listen to it gets even more pleasure - try to figure out what the word was said there during the raging bad weather.
    • Sometimes audio messages arrive at the wrong time

    • It is difficult to remember anything in voice messages . I don’t even know what is better: to receive five minute audio messages or one five-minute one. It is especially difficult when you need to clarify information - you have to listen to a mountain of audio messages in order to remember where it was. I'm sure many of you would prefer to use the dialogue search to find the information you need.
    • If you are tired of voice messages: How to translate voice messages from Telegram to text

    • You need to listen to audio messages . Sometimes you are not alone in a room or office, which makes the process difficult. Yes, and it is indecent to somehow ask a person to wait a little while listening to the incoming. You have to put the phone to your ear or listen through the main speaker. Even better, if the interlocutor is spamming them, and you are in a noisy place. In the same metro, listening to voice is very problematic.

    When voice messages are appropriate

But not everything is so simple with them. You can understand those who use them. Audio messages have replaced phone calls for us: no more awkward attempts to start a conversation. It is enough just to say hello unilaterally to get your point across. Sometimes there is simply no way to print something, and there is no time at all.

Of course, we do not recommend doing this manually while driving: it is better to use the voice assistant so as not to be distracted from the road. By the way, in our Yandex.Zen you can find many devices that make the life of a car owner better!

How to properly prepare for voice listening

I love wishing people a happy birthday over the phone. In the morning. Hours at 9. Yes, I know how unlucky my friends are. I have one friend who does not answer calls at all on his birthday - sending an audio message comes to the rescue. With their help, the congratulation becomes more capacious and dynamic, because on the other end of the wire no one interrupts you, sighs or groans. Due to this, you can say a lot more warm words than in person.

Do you need to send voice messages

Undoubtedly, this is a very important thing. Use voice messages wisely. It all depends on the specific case: for example, you have a friend with whom you communicate exclusively in this way. I think it's because of convenience that you communicate the way you do. On the other hand, it is not necessary to listen to an audio message immediately: you can write in response that there is no way to play it yet.

I agree, sometimes it's better to call

I don't think you should try to send it to someone you've never exchanged it with. Exception: a girl you recently met and are just texting. You didn't hear her voice, and she didn't hear yours. Seems like a great way to spice things up a bit. Is not it? Again, one or two audio messages will not get worse, and then look at the situation.

    Why do we need voicemail

I'm sure we've forgotten how it all started! Remember, your phone has such a handy feature called voicemail? It seems that now it is not as relevant as it was 10-15 years ago. It used to be the norm to record a voice message on an answering machine, leaving a small message for the caller.

In the TV series Friends, the answering machine is used incredibly often. The same applies to photos and messages in instant messengers - there are too many of them, and their value has been lost. The next time you are going to record a voice to your loved one, try to make it as concise and understandable as possible.

Voice messaging allows you to hear a person or convey an idea without making a call. In this they are convenient, like text. I think that the value of voice messages is equal to the value of regular messages.
