Games for Kindergarteners on Writing Numbers Online
Kids can be introduced to numbers in a practical way by writing a number and asking them to do the same from memory. You can help your kids by placing their hands on your hand while you write each number. Using stencils is another great way to help them write numbers.
Further, they are attracted to colorful objects, and online games use colored models to make learning fun. Let's find out more about Writing Numbers Games for Kindergarteners in the next section.
IntroductionMath is an interesting subject, provided it is presented through games. Children can learn how to write numbers with our Writing Numbers Games for Kindergarteners.
Kids are very dynamic in their approach to learning. With strong observation skills, learning is easy for kids if they follow a 'particular movement' repeatedly. If you teach kids how to write numbers when they are young, they will pick up the skill faster. For example, tracing sheets with numbers written on them can be a great way to help kids learn to write numbers.
Online games use visual models so that kids have fun when learning how to write numbers, making them a brilliant option.
The Thrill of Writing Numbers GamesWriting Numbers Games are designed by educational platforms such that they are curriculum-aligned. These games are customized to kids' skills so that the learning is effective. Kids learn at their own pace, our platform offers live tutoring if they ever face any hiccups.
The visual models in these online games make it easier for kids to use their observation skills. The animated objects make the games interesting, and kids find it easier to solve problems. The games arrange the numbers in both a linear and non-linear way, but since kids focus on the visual models, they can find the right answer.
Get the Edge With Writing Numbers GamesOur online games offer some great benefits, some of which include -
- Very Engaging: These games use visual models in different colors, and this keeps kids engaged.
- Builds Confidence: Every topic has different levels, and as kids get through each one, they gain a confidence boost.
- Live Tutoring: If kids can't solve a problem, they can get help from the live tutoring facility.
- Interactive: With animated visual models, the games are very interactive and help kids learn concepts faster.
- Improves Resilience: Kids are encouraged to try again if they make a wrong choice, and this makes them resilient, preventing them from giving up easily.
Kids learn writing numbers with games like 'Way to the Party. ' This game requires them to click on the colored animated models one by one, and the game gets over once the child selects them all.
In the game 'What Comes Next,' kids are given a sequence of numbers with missing numbers in between, and they need to fill up the blanks with the missing numbers.
Kids learn writing numbers with games like "Trace Numbers Up To 10." Additionally, the platform also has a game for each number from 1 to 10. The kids trace each number by clicking on the animated character. As the animated character moves along the template for each number, kids learn how to write it.
Help Kids Overcome Their ChallengesKids find difficulty in understanding what they can't visualize. Further, they become impatient when they can't solve problems and don't want to practice.
Online platforms like SplashLearn make learning easier for kids through their numerous interactive games.
Kids can learn to write numbers much faster with online games from SplashLearn. All they need is the right support and lots of encouragement, and they will be set to face any question thrown at them.
Your one stop solution for all grade learning needs.
Give your child the passion and confidence to learn anything on their own fearlessly

2. Games with numbers. Programming games and puzzles
2. Games with numbers
Puzzle 3.
I found this exercise in a monograph on Prolog. The solution proposed there works by trial and error. But the task is much easier to solve.
As always, let's completely define the problem. The desired number is represented in the decimal system by a sequence of digits
c n c n ?1 ... C 2 5
Multiplying by 5, we get
5 C N C ? 1 . .. c 3 c 2 0 9000 , which is
c 2 = 5. All the digits c i are calculated in the same way iteratively from right to left, playing with the remainder of the previous multiplication "in your head": when you multiply the rightmost 5 by 5, you get 5 units , which gives c 2 = 5, and 2 in mind. Then you can calculate c 3 and the new number in your head and continue step by step. There remains the small task of knowing when to stop. Explore it yourself; As usual, I would not want to tell you all ...
You can also act from left to right:
5 c N C N ? 1 ... 3 C 2 : 5 = c n C N ? 1 ... C 2 5
Dress the left number 5, you get C N = 1. Having C N , you can continue to divide the division. Here, too, you will need to take into account the carryover of the result from the previous division, and you will need to know when to stop. These two methods are essentially equivalent.
I leave the rest to you to explore.
Puzzle 4.
I am usually deeply disappointed by what I find in computer science or mathematics books about square roots. The most common suggestion you get is Newton's method: let's say you need to take the square root of x . You form a return sequence of U I according to the rule
U I +1 = ( U I + ( x / U I )) / 2.
No doubt you can take u 0 = 1 as initial value. This sequence converges very quickly to the square root of x . If, for example, take x = 50 and use the formula
U I +1 = whole_ part (( U I + ( x / U I )) /) /) /) / 2)
to deal with whole numbers only, then as consecutive values and you will get
U 0 = 1, U 1 = 25, U 2 = 13, U 3 = 8, U 5 = 7, U 6 = 7.
To use this algorithm here, you must write an integer division program for two long integers.
Another way of working is based on the fact that the difference of two consecutive squares is an odd number:
( n + 1)? ? n ? = 2 n + 1,
so successive differences are consecutive odd numbers. Therefore, it can be seen that the sum of odd numbers from 1 to 2 k ? 1 inclusive is k ?. Conversely, if you subtract from n consecutively increasing numbers as long as possible (not allowing the result to become negative), then the desired square root is k if the last odd subtracted is 2 k ? 1. Thus, for 50
50 ? 1 = 49,
49? 3 = 46,
46? 5 = 41,
41? 7 = 34,
34? 9 = 25,
25? 11 = 14,
14? 13 = 1.
Cannot continue without getting a negative difference. The last odd subtract is 13, so the root is (13 + 1)/2 = 7 (and remainder 1). This method is much better suited for extending to very large numbers, because you only need to implement two operations:
- add 2 to a large number;
- subtract one large number from another.
But the number of cycle steps is equal to the required square root, and it can be very large.
You can generalize the previous algorithm using the properties of decimal representation of numbers. This number is divided into pieces of two digits, starting from the right; then we start subtracting consecutive odd numbers from the leftmost chunk:
If this cannot be continued, then the last subtracted number is increased by one, shifted one step to the right, and one is assigned after it. This is the first odd number to be subtracted from the previous remainder.
In the example above, 7 + 1 = 8; assigning 4, we get 81 and continue:
Since you can't go any further (the last possible subtraction from the remainder is the one on the far right), the last subtracted number must be increased by 1 and then divided by 2 to get the root. The last remainder is the square root remainder:
85 + 1 = 86, 86/2 = 43,
1909 = (43) 2 + 60.
This algorithm is simple enough to program for long numbers, and it gives quite reasonable computation time.
You have many options for presenting your data. Since we are operating on chunks of two digits, you can define your data as tables of integers ranging from 0 to 99.
You can represent your integers as character strings where only numeric characters (digits) from 0 to 9 are used. The choice of method depends on your preferences and on the capabilities of your machine to operate with tables and chains. Carefully consider what operations need to be done. You are not limited by anything: why not program and compare two different solutions?
I gave you an algorithm without proof. So try to test it...
I have suggested you an algorithm for the decimal number system. We can propose a similar algorithm for the binary system. Then there will be no cycle of subtracting consecutive odd numbers from each piece, since there is only one odd number in the piece: 1. The algorithm is simplified: if an odd number can be subtracted, we subtract it, otherwise we do nothing. Then we shift, add 1 and add 1 at the end... This algorithm is much easier to implement. But then you have to go to base 2 first and then convert the binary result to decimal. You should see what is more efficient...
Puzzle 5.
Let's set the problem carefully. What is required of you is not a globally taken sequence, but this: if the beginning of the sequence is written out, then you need to find the next number. Take the example given in puzzle 5: what number comes after 50?
There are exactly three possibilities.
1. A number is divisible by 2. After a single division by 2, it will have no other zero divisors except 2, 3, and 5. Therefore, this number is from a sequence. Since 50 : 2 = 25, the resulting quotient is greater than 25. The smallest number in the sequence greater than 25 is 27. Thus, if the number following 50 is divisible by two, then it is equal to 2? 27 = 54.
2. It is divisible by 3. Same reasoning. 50 : 3 = 16.7. The first number in the sequence greater than 16.7 is 18. If the next number after 50 is divisible by 3, then that number is 3? 18 = 54.
3. It is divisible by 5. 50: 5 = 10. The next 10 is 12. 12 = 60.
Thus, we have 3 candidates: 54, 54, 60. The smallest of these three is the desired one.
We got 54 using only the already computed part of the Hamming sequence.
I gave you an idea for a solution using an example. You should generalize it, show that it is always true, and write a good program to solve it.
Puzzle 6.
I suggest you start by forming the various number sequences obtained by crossing out the numbers. Here are the first ones:
1 : 2 3 4

Getting ready for school. Mathematics. Children's educational game "Herringbone"
New Year holidays both children and parents are at home, so let's spend these days with benefit! Today I want to share with you educational game for children aged 3 and over .
At school, during lessons 😉 or breaks, my friends and I at one time were fond of the game "Hand". Two people participate in the game, their palm is circled, numbers from 1 to 100 are written inside the contour. Then we exchange playing fields. The players take turns calling a number, while one is looking for a given number on his playing field, the other writes zeros in an empty space. The goal of the game was to be the first to fill in the sheet with zeros around the contour of the palm. For the game "Hand" they used a sheet in a cage, zeros were drawn in lines, no larger than one cell. Oh, how many notebooks we have torn apart for this game ....
Having slightly adapted the game for children, plus the New Year holidays, we got board educational game "Herringbone" . What does this board game develop? During the game, children repeat and memorize numbers, develop attention and fine motor skills, learn to write numbers . For this game, you can use any image, such as a mushroom with numbers and raindrops.
Look at other articles on the topic of learning numbers and numbers:
- Learning to count
- We sew toys that develop fine motor skills of hands. Soft numbers

How to play the children's educational game "Herringbone"?
1. Print out the playing field for two players. DOWNLOAD the playing field for the game "Herringbone".
2. Each participant writes numbers from 1 to 10 (and more, depending on the level of knowledge of both players) in empty circles on his playing field (chaotically).
3. We exchange playing fields.
4. Choose a driver. He paints over any unpainted circle with a number, calls this number out loud and immediately begins to draw snowflakes around the Christmas tree. The second player looks for this number on his field, paints it over and says “stop”, after which the first player stops drawing snowflakes.
5.
