    How Well Can You Follow Directions Test

    How well can you follow directions? Get a piece of paper and a pencil ready to take this quick quiz to see if you can follow directions.

    Preparation:
    To take this test, all you need is a pen or pencil, an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper, and a watch or clock for timing yourself.  After you take the test, check the bottom of this page to see how well you did.

    Directions:
    You have a 5 minute time limit to complete all of this test. Carefully read all of the parts of the test before doing anything. In order to ensure the accuracy of this exam, you should not use more than the allotted time of 5 minutes. You may start the timer and begin whenever you choose. Good Luck!!

    You may begin now!!

    1. Write today's date--month-day-year in the top right hand corner of your test paper.

    2. Write the answer to the following multiplication problem directly underneath the date on your test paper--6 X 5 = ?

    3. Write the name of the month that begins with the letter "D" in the top left hand corner of your test paper.

    4. Add 15 to the answer you got in part #2, and write this new total directly underneath your answer for part #3.

    5. In the lower left hand corner of your test paper, write the names of your favorite singer and your favorite group.

    6. Just above your answer to part #5, write "This test is very easy."

    7. In the lower right hand corner of your test paper, draw a rectangle and inside the rectangle draw a five pointed star.  The size of these drawings is not important.

    8. Directly above your answer to part #7, draw a row of three small circles. Once again, size is not important.

    9. Write the name of the first president of the United States on the back of your test paper anywhere you choose.  If you don't know who this is, write your own name instead.

    10.Write the name of any country that begins with the letter "I" directly underneath you answer to part #2.

    11. Take the number of dwarfs in the Snow White story and add it to the number of bears in the Goldilocks story.  Divide by 2.  Write this total in the approximate center of your test paper.

    12. Think of a number between 1 and 50.   Double that number.  Add 20.  Add 6.  Subtract 17.  Subtract 9.  Divide by 2.  Write this number on your test paper directly underneath your answer to part #11.

    13. Now that you have carefully read all of the parts so far, and you have not carried out any of the actual work, read the next 2 parts just to see what they say and then go back and only complete part #3.

    14. The name of the first president of the United States is George Washington. He was president from 1789 until 1797.  Add the 2 dates together to see if the total is less than 5000.

    15. You should not be reading the end of the exam before the beginning of the exam, but now that you are here, you have just wasted some of the time you may need to complete the test.

    ELI-Test. Learn more about yourself

    ELI-Test technology is a set of diagnostic methods based on assessments of the serum content of many marker molecules (autoantibodies), the changes of which can be used to judge the formation or presence of pathological changes in certain organs of the human body.

    It is this unique development of Russian scientists, which is a vivid example of the medicine of the future, that we offer for practical use.

    Who among us would refuse to live at least 10-15 years longer than the “let go”?

    But on the way to this really achievable goal there is an understandable psychological barrier - what normal person would voluntarily want to undergo an annual medical examination, which includes examination by a dozen specialists and takes more than one day. Examination of the body with the help of the ELI-Test diagnostic complex is a medical examination of the 21st century, based on new knowledge about the human body.

    At the same time, timely knowledge (not yet a diagnosis, which is, in fact, a statement of the fact of the presence of a disease), namely, knowledge of the characteristics of your body, its strengths and weaknesses, possible problems that you may encounter on the path of life, will allow you to pass this way quickly and with minimal losses.

    The meaning of the method is to determine the level of autoantibodies to the tissues of various organs of the human body, which allows you to see the presence of an emerging pathological process long (5-10-15 years) before its clinical manifestations.

    A detailed analysis of changes in the serum content of a variety of autoantibodies can and should become an effective tool for preclinical diagnosis of various disorders in the body. The successful development of this approach can lead to a revision of the main paradigm of modern medicine and turn medical practice from treatment to disease prevention (move from the principle of DISEASE-TREATMENT to the principle of PROGNOSIS-PREVENT). In most cases of early detection of beginning, fundamentally reversible pathological processes, the development of events in an undesirable direction can be stopped, and a person who would be doomed to the development of a serious disease will have the opportunity to maintain health!

    The ELI-Test technology allows you to:

    • Make an early diagnosis of many disorders in your body, long before the first symptoms of the disease appear;
    • Perform early diagnosis of pre-existing or emerging diseases in adults and children;
    • Clarify diagnosis in complex cases;
    • Assess and predict early pregnancy. Help in solving problems of infertility, the threat of miscarriage, the birth of a healthy child;
    • Individually select the most effective treatment for existing diseases and reduce the risk of developing many complications due to the timely detection of pathology;
    • Evaluate the individual effectiveness of the treatment;
    • Assess the body's immune reactivity in children and adults who are often and long-term ill.

    Consider the "Optimized complex ELI-Test-24"

    The new test system allows you to study the patient's blood serum by 24 parameters to assess the functional state of various organs of the human body.

    The data obtained allow assessing the state of the following organs and systems of the human body:

    • Heart (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of myocardial pathology, disorders in the autonomic nervous system of the heart)
    • Blood vessels and coagulation system (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of vasculitis, blood coagulation disorders and other conditions that increase the risk of thrombosis)
    • Liver (presence or absence of changes in the liver parenchyma, preceding or accompanying the development of hepatitis, hepatosis, cirrhosis, inflammation of the gallbladder, etc. )
    • Kidneys (presence or absence of changes in the parenchyma of the kidneys, preceding or accompanying the development of nephrolithiasis, pyelonephritis, etc.)
    • Lungs (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of chronic lung disease)
    • Stomach and intestines (presence or absence of changes in the walls of the stomach or intestines, preceding and accompanying gastritis, peptic ulcer, etc.)
    • Pancreas and insulin receptors (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying hepatitis, pancreatitis, including those occurring with damage to insulin-secreting cells; assessment of the risk of developing insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus)
    • Thyroid gland (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of various thyroid pathologies)
    • Adrenal glands (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of adrenal pathology of various origins)
    • Prostate (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of prostatitis of various origins)
    • Nervous system (presence or absence of organic changes in the CNS tissue of various origins, including demyelinating diseases)
    • Immune system (presence or absence of changes preceding or accompanying the development of various kinds of immunodeficiencies and pathological autoimmune processes)

    Of great interest is the ELI-P-Complex - a test for pregnant women and planning pregnancy and the ELI-Pediatric-Complex - a test for children and newborns.

    In conclusion, I would like to say the most important thing is that prevention and prevention of the risk of diseases, taking timely measures to prevent them will allow you and your family to enjoy a full life to the fullest for many years to come. Please yourself and loved ones, despite the negative impact of adverse environmental, moral, psychological and political and economic factors of the reality around us.

    Treadmill test

    A treadmill test is carried out in the Functional Diagnostics Department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "KDC with a Polyclinic" - an ECG recording against the background of physical activity on a treadmill - a treadmill. As a load device, you can use a special bicycle - a bicycle ergometer.

    Stress tests (bicycle ergometry, treadmill test) allow you to determine the response of the cardiovascular system to physical activity, the degree of endurance and fitness of the body, to identify episodes of myocardial ischemia, including painless, cardiac arrhythmias associated with physical activity. Bicycle ergometry and treadmill test reveal the relationship of chest pain with the state of coronary blood flow or the absence of such a relationship. After all, pain can also be caused by non-cardiac causes.

    Electrodes are attached to the patient's body. The patient is given a certain physical activity (walking on a moving walkway), which gradually increases. An ECG is constantly recorded, blood pressure is measured. The patient is asked to report any pain or other sensations during the test. When the exercise is stopped (due to pain, patient fatigue, or when a certain heart rate is reached), the ECG and blood pressure readings continue to be recorded for another 5-6 minutes.

    It is very important that the exercise ECG makes it possible to quantitatively express the degree of coronary blood flow insufficiency and the adaptive capabilities of the body, linking them with dosed physical activity, achieved heart rate, blood pressure, ECG picture, and also tracking the recovery time of cardiac activity and blood pressure after load termination. That is, it becomes possible to objectively assess the dynamics of the development of the disease and the adequacy of the treatment.

    Indications for bicycle ergometry:

    • pain in the region of the heart;

    • high risk of developing coronary artery disease;

    • lipid metabolism disorders without clinical manifestations of coronary artery disease;

    • evaluation of the effectiveness of IHD treatment;

    • detection of cardiac arrhythmias that occur against the background of physical activity;

    • determination of exercise tolerance in patients with coronary artery disease;

    • determination of the functional class of angina pectoris.

    As a side effect, after passing this test, heart rhythm disturbances, as well as sharp jumps in blood pressure, may occur. In addition, it is impossible to completely exclude the occurrence of an angina attack, and in rare cases, loss of consciousness, therefore, it is necessary to carefully observe the precautions and carry out this study under the vigilant supervision of a doctor.

    Due to the large percentage of contraindications to stress testing, CDC specialists at Krestovsky strongly recommend that this test be performed only after a preliminary examination (ECG, ECHO-KG; if necessary, Holter monitoring of ECG and blood pressure) and in the direction of a general practitioner or cardiologist .

    The treadmill test is aimed at identifying the patient's personal tolerance to physical activity, as well as the threshold, at the intersection of which these loads have a harmful effect on the body. Taking into account individual characteristics, the further treatment regimen will be adjusted, and the feasibility of using medications will be determined.
