Goldilocks and the three bears story in pictures

Goldilocks went inside. First she tasted the porridge of the great, huge bear, and that was far too hot for her. And then she tasted the porridge of the middle bear, and that was too cold for her. And then she went to the porridge of the little, small wee bear, and tasted that. And that was neither too hot nor too cold, but just right; and she liked it so well, that she ate it all up.

Then Goldilocks went upstairs into the bed chamber and first she lay down upon the bed of the great, huge bear, and then she lay down upon the bed of the middle bear and finally she lay down upon the bed of the little, small wee bear, and that was just right. So she covered herself up comfortably, and lay there until she fell fast asleep.

By this time, the three bears thought their porridge would be cool enough, so they came home to breakfast.

“SOMEBODY HAS BEEN AT MY PORRIDGE!” said the great huge bear, in his great huge voice.

“Somebody has been at my porridge!” said the middle bear, in his middle voice.

Then the little, small wee bear looked at his, and there was the spoon in the porridge pot, but the porridge was all gone.

“Somebody has been at my porridge, and has eaten it all up!” said the little, small wee bear, in his little, small wee voice.

Then the three bears went upstairs into their bedroom.

“SOMEBODY HAS BEEN LYING IN MY BED!” said the great, huge bear, in his great, rough, gruff voice.

“Somebody has been lying in my bed!” said the middle bear, in his middle voice.

And when the little, small, wee bear came to look at his bed, upon the pillow there was a pool of golden curls, and the angelic face of a little girl snoring away, fast asleep.

“Somebody has been lying in my bed, and here she is!” Said the little, small wee bear, in his little, small wee voice.

Goldilocks jumped off the bed and ran downstairs, out of the door and down the garden path. She ran and she ran until she reached the house of her grandmama. When she told her grandmama about the house of the three bears who lived in the wood, her granny said: “My my, what a wild imagination you have, child!”

Imagine your mother prepared your favourite food for lunch and while you were studying, a cat quietly crept in and ate away all your food. Wouldn’t you be very angry and sad? Although you are right about feeling angry in such a situation, you should not harm the cat but rather forgive it. A similar situation occurred with a bear family and they too were upset. However, they did not harm the accused and later forgave her. Being kind and forgiving is an important virtue. Come let’s read the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story with pictures.

The Story

Once upon a time, there was a naughty girl named Goldilocks. She had golden hair like sun rays and so she was called Goldilocks. She was always up to some tricks or mischiefs. One day, her mother sent her out for some work and strictly told her not to go into the forest. But naughty Goldilocks never listened to her elders. She indeed walked into the forest and heard a beautiful bird singing. She kept following the bird and running behind it. Very soon she realised that she had lost her way. She did not know where she was and could not recognise her way back.

Goldilocks regretted not listening to her mother. After roaming around in the forest for some time and crying to return home, she found a hut. Goldilocks felt relieved! She knocked on the door of the hut but no one answered. She then peeped in and asked, “Hi! Is anyone home?”. She looked around but could not find anyone. Goldilocks entered the hut and the first thing she spotted was a table with three bowls of porridge. Goldilocks was very tired, so on seeing the porridge bowls, she could not resist. She ate all three bowls of porridge. However, while eating she dropped some and made a mess.

After that, she walked around looking for a place to rest. She found three chairs. She went and sat on the smallest one but could not fit into it. The chair broke and Goldilocks hurt herself. Goldilocks then went upstairs, further exploring the place. She entered a room that had three beds. She lied down on the first bed but it was too long. She then went on to the next bed but this one was hard. She finally tried the third bed. It was soft and of the correct size. Goldilocks fell fast asleep as soon as she lay on the bed. 

After a while, three bears entered the hut. Father Bear asked, “Mother Bear, how is the door ajar? Didn’t we lock it before leaving?” They looked at each other in confusion. Baby Bear, who was tired and hungry, rushed to the table to eat his porridge. He burst out in tears calling out to his parents, “Mummy, Daddy! Someone ate all our porridge and broke my chair too.”. Mother Bear tried consoling him but she too felt sad and angry looking at the mess.

Mother Bear, “No worries dear, I’ll make some more. Meanwhile, you can rest upstairs.”. When the bear family went upstairs to their bedroom, Father Bear cried in horror, “Look! Someone has slept on my bed. The sheets are dirty.” Mother Bear said, “Mine too!” Just then Baby Bear jumped in surprise, “A girl is sleeping on my bed.”. They understood that it was she who ate up all the porridge, broke Baby Bear’s chair, and slept on their beds. Just as they approached Baby Bear’s bed, Goldilocks woke up.

As soon as she saw the bears, she screamed so loudly that the bears were terrified. She ran straight out of their hut as fast as she could. She kept running and running and found her mother waiting at the end of the forest. Goldilocks told her mother everything. Her mother was angry with her and said, “Goldilocks, this is very naughty of you. What you did was wrong. You must apologise!”. The next morning, Goldilocks and her mother visited the bear’s hut with some gifts and delicious food. Goldilocks apologised to them and said that she was ashamed. The bears forgave her and Baby Bear and Goldilocks became friends.

Conclusion

This story teaches us that we should not touch anyone’s belongings or enter their house without permission. It may harm things and people. You may unknowingly hurt someone’s feelings and efforts and most importantly, trespassing is wrong. Moreover, apologising for the wrong is always the right and prudent approach. Accepting your fault and apologising for it makes you a better person. We should also have a big heart like the bears and learn to forgive. Fairy tale Three Bears, Russian folk tale

One girl left home for the forest. She got lost in the forest and began to look for her way home, but she did not find it, but came to the house in the forest.
The door was open; she looked at the door, sees: there is no one in the house, and entered.

Three bears lived in this house. One bear was a father, his name was Mikhailo Ivanovich. He was big and shaggy. The other was a bear. She was smaller, and her name was Nastasya Petrovna. The third was a little bear cub, and his name was Mishutka. The bears were not at home, they went for a walk in the forest.
There were two rooms in the house: one dining room, another bedroom. The girl entered the dining room and saw three cups of stew on the table. The first cup, very large, was Mikhail Ivanychev's. The second cup, smaller, was Nastasya Petrovnina; the third, little blue cup, was Mishutkin. Beside each cup lay a spoon: large, medium and small.

The girl took the biggest spoon and drank from the biggest cup; then she took the middle spoon and drank from the middle cup; then she took a small spoon and drank from a little blue cup; and Mishutkin's stew seemed to her the best.

The girl wants to sit down and sees three chairs at the table: one large one is for Mikhail Ivanovich; the other is smaller - Nastasya Petrovnin, and the third, small, with a blue little pillow - Mishutkin.

She climbed onto a large chair and fell down; then she sat down on the middle chair, it was awkward on it; then she sat down on a small chair and laughed—it was so good. She took the little blue cup on her knees and began to eat. She ate all the stew and began to swing on a chair.

The chair broke and she fell to the floor. She got up, picked up a chair and went to another room.

There were three beds: one big bed for Mikhail Ivanychev; the other middle one is Nastasya Petrovnina; the third is small - Mishenkina. The girl lay down in a large one, it was too spacious for her; lay down in the middle - it was too high; she lay down in the little one—the bed was just right for her, and she fell asleep

And the bears came home hungry and wanted to have dinner.
The big bear took the cup, looked and roared in a terrible voice:
— WHO DRINK IN MY CUP?
Nastasya Petrovna looked at her cup and growled not so loudly:
- WHO DRINKED IN MY CUP?
And Mishutka saw his empty cup and squeaked in a thin voice:
— WHO DRINKED IN MY CUP AND DRINKED EVERYTHING?

Mikhail Ivanovich looked at his chair and roared in a terrible voice:
"WHO SAT ON MY CHAIR AND PUSHED IT FROM THE PLACE?"
Nastasya Petrovna glanced at her chair and growled not so loudly:
— WHO SIT ON MY CHAIR AND PUSHED IT FROM HER PLACE?
Mishutka looked at his broken chair and squeaked:
— WHO SIT ON MY CHAIR AND BROKEN IT?
Bears came to another room.
- WHO WAS IN MY BED AND CRUSHED IT? roared Mikhail Ivanovitch in a terrible voice.
- WHO WAS IN MY BED AND CRUSHED IT? growled Nastasya Petrovna, not so loudly

And Mishenka set up a footstool, climbed into his bed and squeaked in a thin voice:
— WHO WAS IN MY BED?
And suddenly he saw a girl and squealed as if he was being cut:
— There she is! Hold it, hold it! Here she is! Ay-ya-yay! Hold on!
He wanted to bite her.
The girl opened her eyes, saw the bears and rushed to the window. It was open, she jumped out the window and ran away. And the bears did not catch up with her.
