How to start the "Children's Tale" event

In order to participate in the event, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Reach Adventure Rank 20.
  • Complete the mission of the Archons Volume III. Chapter I: Through smoke and dark forests - In the footsteps of the wisdom deity.

If the quest "In the Footsteps of the Deity of Wisdom" is not completed or there is no way to start it, you can use the "Quick Start" in the main menu of the event after completing the task of the Archons Prologue. Chapter I: The Stranger Who Caught the Wind. This quest is the initial mission where the main character gains the power of Anemo for the first time.

Genshin Impact Children's Tale Walkthrough

In the Children's Tale event, go looking for various Sumeru materials to help craftsmen find inspiration for making toys. The event is divided into 4 parts:

  1. Introductory - "Rejected Toy".
  2. Miscellaneous challenges - "Wandering in the thicket".
  3. Creation of figures - "Wood metamorphoses".
  4. The final quest - "Painstaking work".

Rejected toy

Complete story quest event and get to know the new character's story. Completing the mission will unlock the content for the rest of the event and allow you to invite Collei to your squad.

Detailed walkthrough of the "Rejected Toy" quest.

Wandering in the thicket

The Wandering in the thicket stage is further divided into 4 parts, representing various mini-events:

  • Instant skin. Collect pictures of animals to give craftsmen ideas for toy models.
  • Observation of large animals. Another way to find inspiration is through trials. Fight two enemies Electro Fern and Feather Mold and research their traits to complete special objectives.
  • Race in the grove. The third way is to move around the map and explore the dense forests of Sumeru. Go through obstacles and collect Adventure Coins within a certain time.
  • Overcoming the Elements - fighting new enemies. Through battles, become familiar with Sumeru's environment and new elemental reactions. In this challenge, by triggering elemental interactions with Dendro, you can trigger shockwaves that will make it easier to complete levels.
How to get Creative Notes and Inspiration Drafts

After completing all the Wandering in the Woods levels, get Creative Notes and Inspiration Drafts, which can be exchanged for figurine parts or treasures. Notes are used to exchange for rewards, and Drafts are used to receive components. All records will disappear from the inventory after the end of the event, so make sure to exchange them on time.

A separate article provides a detailed guide to the Wandering in the thicket stage with the passage of all tests.

At this stage, it is necessary to collect aranar toys from various parts for woodcarving at the stand . In the process, Travelers are asked to complete certain tasks in order to receive rewards. The number of figurines that can be placed on the stand is limited to . But the limit increases as the event progresses.

In a special guide you can find a step-by-step guide on how to get carving components and assemble wooden aranar figurines.
