Children's City Clinical Hospital named after N. F. Filatov - "Filatov Hospital" - a legendary institution, traditionally the leader of domestic medicine in the field of medical care for children.

Founded in December 1842, it is the first children's hospital in Moscow. From the first days of its creation, the management and doctors of the hospital set themselves the task of providing highly qualified assistance to the children's population. Leading doctors of that time worked in the hospital, cooperation with Moscow University immediately began, since 1846 classes for medical students have been held in the hospital.

In 1922 the hospital was named after the first Russian pediatrician, Nil Fedorovich Filatov. After that, the hospital in everyday life began to be called "Filatovskaya".

Filatov Children's Hospital - 180 years old

The famous Filatov Children's Hospital turns 180 years old this year . The first nursery in Moscow, the second in Russia, the third in the world. In December 1842, the first patients were admitted to the hospital on Malaya Bronnaya - this is the first building of Filatovskaya. And five years later, chief physician Andrei Kronenberg ensured that infants were also accepted for treatment. This was not done then either in Paris or in St. Petersburg, they took only patients older than 2-3 years.
