In addition to sites that have been around since my kids were younger, there are so many educational websites for preschoolers. I’ve polled my Facebook friends, pulled from my memory, and asked my sister who teaches preschool. Here’s a list of fun and educational websites that your preschoolers will love!

• Starfall.com | This site has been around since my kids were preschoolers. I remember them using the ABC pages when they were younger.
Now, there are activities for reading, math, songs, and holidays. There is a homeschool site that you can subscribe to for $35/year. The subscription fee is tax deductible. After subscribing, you get access to even more activities geared toward PreK-3. Once you’ve subscribed, you can also download the Starfall App to make the activities portable.
• ABC Mouse | I see commercials for ABC Mouse on TV all the time. It offers six learning levels for kids in preschool and kindergarten (ages 2-7). They offer lessons and activities in science, social studies, reading, math, art, and more. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial, and then it’s $59.95/year.
PBS Kids | PBS Kids was a favorite with all three of my kids, because the activities are based on the shows we watched in our home. At the time, we loved Arthur, Clifford, Thomas the Tank Engine, and more. On PBS Kids, preschoolers can watch episodes of their favorite shows. They can also play games featuring their favorite characters.

Universal Kids | Universal Kids is similar to PBS Kids in that it has games and videos featuring favorite characters – Barney, Masha and the Bear, DinoTrux, and more! This site is free, as well.
Dance Mat Typing | This site is one of my daughter’s all-time favorites! She started playing this as soon her little fingers could spread out on the keyboard, and she continued on through the end. This is a great beginner typing program for little ones. As the kids progress, the games get more challenging. This one is free!
Nick Jr. | Your Nick Jr. fans will love this site. It’s full of learning games featuring their favorite characters – Dora, Peppa Pig, and more. Again, this site is free.
Scholastic | Scholastic.com has a great collection of games for kids ages 3-7 based on popular children’s books like Magic School Bus, Clifford, Word Girl, and more.
FunBrain | FunBrain has a wonderful collection of math and reading games as well as just plain fun! These games are free.
