Make a Pizza – Printable Pizza Toppings CutoutsLast updated on January 8th, 2022 at 06:46 am
Ihave found that kids like to build just about anything. Their creative little minds usually love crafts and activities that they can put together. And what could be more fun than an activity based around one of the most delicious foods on the planet?! Make a pizza or two with our Build-a-Pizza template. This project contains 5 pages containing 10 different toppings to make anything from a Hawaiian style pizza to an “everything pizza”. Print this out for your kids and let them spend hours playing restaurant with this pizza building kit. This free printable consists of:
- Pepperoni (12)
- Green Pepper (8)
- Olives (10)
- Tomatoes (8)
- Mushrooms (8)
- Broccoli (8)
- Ham (10)
- Basil (6)
- Onion (8)
- Pineapple (6)
- Pizza Pie (1)
I recommend laminating the cutouts so they last a long time and can be used over and over again (without wear and tear).
This a great activity & boredom buster for a parent or teacher to entertain kids that can last for hours.
I recommend laminating all of our Build activities. Laminating gives this craft a bit more permanence. Kids can put the craft together over and over again without worrying about having to cut and color each time. I don’t use anything fancy, just a simple and easy laminator. This is the laminator I use and recommend, you literally just turn it on, it heats up, and you’re ready to start laminating anything everything!
I’m also a big fan of the self-sealing laminating pouches! They are super easy! You literally just place your printable in a letter size pouch, run it through the laminator and you have a sealed and long-lasting item!
Also, if you do choose to laminate, stick little self-adhesive velcro dots on the laminated pieces so your kids can attach and reattach easily. This eliminates the use of any messy glue!
Below is what is included in your Build-a-Pizza download (see the bottom of the page for actual download instructions):

Felt Pizza Kids Activity
I love making felt crafts with the kids and doing kid activities with them. This past summer I had my little granddaughter over all by herself for the first time. It was her big first trip to stay with us(they live 5 hours away). I cut out felt pizza topping shapes, felt pizza shapes, and grabbed paper plates and we had a fun time making felt pizzas!
This is a super easy craft for kids (or) you can do the cutting if they are too young. It is easy to cut out the felt food shapes for pizza. Then the kids assemble the pizza onto paper plates. I love it when you can combine arts and crafts with learning. Then even combine this activity with baking a real pizza, for teaching kids. It makes it really fun to see how kids think, play, and learn.
