Players can choose to play a traditional 4x4 board (words of 3-letters or more), or a 5x5 board (words of 4-letters or more). Take your pick!

What is Twister and how to play it?
Twister is one of the most popular games in the world, along with Monopoly and Jenga. Its publisher is also Hasbro, which began producing this game back in the mid-60s of the last century. Since then, this game with simple rules has gained incredible popularity and love of players around the world.
Twister is considered a board game, although it is essentially an outdoor game. It belongs to a rare subspecies of active board games - in which you need to use not your mind, but your body. You can play this game both in teams and every man for himself.
Before playing, choose a spacious place with a flat floor surface and lay out a mat. Players are divided into teams if there are a lot of them, or simply occupy opposite edges of the playing field if there are two or three of them. Ideally, one more player is needed to be the leader, although free players can easily fill his duties. The host spins the arrow on the roulette wheel and the game begins!
The roulette features hand and foot sections and circles in the same colors as on the field. The field, by the way, is filled with four rows of six colored circles of green, blue, red and yellow. The host announces where the roulette needle has stopped. For example, the blue circle and the right hand. This means that all players must place their right hand on the blue circle closest to them. When this task is completed, the presenter spins the roulette wheel again and indicates the next action option that has fallen. The game continues in this way until all the players hit the floor with a laugh. The winner is the one who was able to stand last. Sometimes players take such twisted positions that it becomes incredibly difficult to resist!
The host is also a referee and ensures that the players do not accidentally or intentionally break the rules. For example, it is forbidden to use elbows and knees instead of hands and feet. Each circle on the field can only be touched by one player at a time. Without the host's permission, players may not take their hands or feet off the playing mat. Also, the judge can resolve disputes that have arisen, for example, who was the first to put a limb on a circle, if two did it at the same time.
In order to win this game, you need to have good dexterity and perfect coordination of movements. There is also a place for strategy in this game - for example, you can try to take the easiest positions first, and also try to plan ahead where you will put your hands and feet if one or another color falls out.
Twister game rules.
Depending on the number of players, the rules will be slightly different, although not significantly. When playing together, players stand on the field on opposite sides, putting one foot on the yellow circle, and the other on the blue one. If there is no leader in the game, you can do without him - one of the players names the color, and the second player chooses the limb that needs to be used. In a three-player game, two are placed in the same way as described above, and the third player stands in the center of the field, putting their feet on the red circles. When playing with four players, you can split into two teams that occupy opposite edges of the field, placing themselves on circles of all types. By the way, with this version of the game, members of the same team are allowed to put their hands and feet on the same colored fields. And if you have several copies of Twister (or several homemade carpets) and a lot of people who want to play, then you can put together one huge game carpet from several copies and arrange massive team competitions!
Who is the Twister suitable for?
Many people think that Twister is a children's game, but in fact it is not quite so. Many adults also play this unusual exercise game with great pleasure, they even use it at work and in training groups as a means to relieve tension and liberation. But, of course, its main audience is children's and youth parties. At any family holiday, the atmosphere will become warmer and more fun if you invite guests to play Twister. This game, unlike the same Monopoly, does not imply resentment and frustration that occur when another player is ahead of you in your strategic plans. Here everything is simple - they could not resist, fell, laughed, got up and started a new round.
Twister can be used in kindergartens and schools as an active workout during the break. Children are very fond of everything that is served to them in a playful way, and they always welcome active activities. Therefore, playing Twister can wonderfully complement and diversify other intellectual activities.
Which Twister versions are available in our shop?
For a long time the Igroved store has been operating, we have had a wide variety of Twister variations in our assortment, from simple and cheap to deluxe editions. After trying a lot of versions, we came to the conclusion that the most optimal edition is the classic Twister from Hasbro. The rug is made of high quality polyethylene, and bright colors will not fade even with regular use.
By the way, you can even make such a simple game with your own hands. You will need a white oilcloth or fabric on which you will need to draw or stick rows of multi-colored circles. Roulette can be made from cardboard or just paper.
