Fly Guys made their debut in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and has become a common enemy in later Mario and Yoshi games. They fly around and carry items, including 1-Ups and rare Red Coins. Some of them fly back and forth in a set path, while others appear suddenly, move quickly and fly away if not hit in time.

Propeller Shy Guys only appeared in Yoshi's Story. They appear flying above Yoshi carrying fruit, but immediately fly off-screen if Yoshi eats the fruit.

Fly Guys appear as rare, harmless enemies (this time as 3D models, unlike the ones in the Yoshi's Island stage). They fly around carrying an item which changes every few seconds, and if not defeated in time they quickly fly away. They can carry food, gold and Custom Parts, which they drop when attacked.

Fly Guy
This enemy from the Yoshi's Island series is basically a Shy Guy with a propeller on its head. It hauls items with it as it flies, so chase it down to claim a reward. Usually it's just food, but sometimes one will have some better prizes. You could say these ones are...pretty fly for a Shy Guy. No? Never mind.

interpretation of dreams about flying in a dream

Probably, each of us at least once in our lives flew in a dream. These are sensations of intoxicating freedom, lightness, indescribable delight, euphoria. And you wake up with a feeling of a surge of strength, inspiration, and for a long time you remember incomparable emotions, expecting exciting events and happy turns from life.

But there is another side, because everyone remembers the story of the unfortunate Icarus from mythology. So what are these dreams?

Flying in a dream according to Miller's dream book

A dream in which a person flies warns that humiliation and bad news about people who are currently far away await him.

If a young girl dreams that she is soaring in the sky, it means that she cannot restrain her negative emotions, which will be followed by a break in relations with her loved one.

Do you dream of flying across the endless sky? This is a sign that your marriage will fail.
Flight altitude is also important. For example, if you dream that you have sunk low above the ground, expect a difficult situation or illness that you can handle safely.

Climbed very high and see the celestial bodies? Such a dream means the approach of war, famine or other large-scale disasters that will affect you personally.

A dream in which a person soars above the ruins speaks of future misfortune and sorrow. However, if there are trees among the ruins, then you can be sure that you will soon overcome all the difficulties and success awaits you.

Soared in the rays of the sun? Fears and worries are groundless, in fact, everything is fine.

If a young woman in a dream flies between cities and periodically descends to the roofs of churches, this is a warning that it will not be easy for her to protect her relationships from insincere and envious people.

When a young man dreams that he is flying over green trees and has angel wings behind him, it means that soon there will be happy love and success in business matters.

Flying in a dream symbolizes movement and the desire for liberation. Such dreams are sublimation, everything speaks of a subconscious desire to get away from one's life problems, of impotence and, possibly, a sense of insecurity.

On the other hand, this dream can mean a person's desire to escape from a difficult situation or indicate a desire to become more influential and powerful. It is very important here what exactly the dreamer feels.

Flying in a dream according to Freud's dream book

Flying in a dream according to Freud's dream book symbolizes that a person is able to calmly and soberly look at his problems and knows how to abstract from them. Such a dream speaks of a surge of vitality. If you soar under the ceiling, this means an increase in spiritual energy. Are you flying in the clouds? Most likely, you are cut off from reality and live in the world of your fantasies.

Flying in a dream according to Nadezhda Soboleva's dream book

Soaring in a dream means that you will finally be able to gain freedom. However, if this happens low above the ground, then the dream warns of pipe dreams.

The feeling of lightness in flight indicates the successful overcoming of difficulties and the achievement of success.

If you feel that you are moving under the influence of some external force, then danger is approaching and you want to move away from it.

When you dream that you are flying in a car, this indicates anxiety associated with some current chores.

Flying in a dream according to a romantic dream book

For a lonely person flying low above the ground in a dream, this predicts an early acquaintance with a future spouse.

When one of the couple dreamed that he was falling from a great height, disappointment in his partner may soon happen.

If you hover over the ruins of buildings, there is a risk that a loved one may no longer trust you.

Does a man dream about birds flying over his head during his flight? You need to take a closer look at the woman he likes. The dream warns that he risks losing his happiness.

What is a flyboard, how to learn to fly it?

What is a flyboard?

Interested in what is a flyboard? This is one of the extreme sports. Since it is associated with water, its other name is hydroflight. The main task of a flyboarder is not just to rise and hover in the air, but to perform somersaults, rotate around an axis, make sharp or smooth turns. Efficient exits and dives of experienced athletes will delight any spectator. And you will want to learn how to repeat their movements yourself. The most effective trick of this extreme sport is the "dolphin". The flyboarder moves over the surface, dives and emerges, imitating the movements of a dolphin. Yes ... This needs to be learned. But it's worth it! The flight height can reach 10 m.

An interesting fact is that in 2019 flyboarding was included in the official register of sports as a separate discipline. Championships are held in many countries. It is not difficult to control the flyboard platform. Believe me, even a beginner can stay on it. The body itself dictates the rules. Trust your intuition. Of course, it is better to give preference to new platforms. They provide maximum control. The only difference is that instead of the ground under your feet, you will have a powerful jet of water. The task of the flyboarder is to balance and maintain balance.

Many viewers compare the entertainment to the flight of Iron Man or an angel. It seems that a person who soars on a flyboard grows wings. That is why he performs all these tricks with ease.

Who Invented the Flyboard?

Frenchman Frank Zapata, after much experimentation, invented the flyboard in 2011. Long before the appearance of the flying board, he acquired the nicknames Dolphin Man, Aquaman (Water Man) and Jetman. And all thanks to the fact that he achieved high results in competitions on water bikes and even won the competition. But Frank needed something new. So he designed and introduced the board in China and then showed how to fly a flyboard to the public. Frank crossed the English Channel in 22 minutes, taking part in a military parade. He managed to cover a distance of 35 kilometers, despite strong gusts of wind. They became the main problem. But the athlete managed to overcome the risk of destabilization.

The developer did not want to stop there. His invention has become the most fashionable and sought-after extreme entertainment. A conventional flyboard is tied to a jet ski and has a limited lift height. Flight is possible only over a body of water. That is why he developed a jet water board for professionals. She interested all flyboarders who do not accept restrictions. The new model is not tied to a jet ski and has a speed of 150 km/h. Management is carried out using the remote control. Such a flyboard rises to a height of 30 meters. But back to Frank Zapata.

The extreme admitted that he cannot imagine his life without thrills and constant risk. He just needs to be on the brink of failure. Sometimes he compares himself to climbers. Yes, ordinary flyboards are absolutely safe, while jet boards require the physical and psychological preparation of the athlete. Frank revealed the secrets of a successful flight. It is necessary to abstract and not think about the possible risk. He dives into the flight path and concentrates all his efforts on performing tricks. It was these qualities that helped him become a winner.

It's hard to say if he'll stop there. After all, extreme sports require new discoveries. The developer himself does not exclude that soon he will need something more than a reagent. He may already be working on a more powerful model.

How does a flyboard work?

We figured out what a flyboard is. But the presentation will not be complete if you do not know how it works. The usual kit includes jet boots, hoses, hand stabilizers and a jet ski. A hose connected to the jet ski ensures a constant supply of water. Thanks to this, a powerful stream breaks out. From the side it looks like a pole. Manual stabilizers allow you to control the power of the water flow. Thanks to manual water cannons, balance is maintained and control is provided during the flight.

Now let's look at the flyboard device in more detail. In classic models, a jet stream from a jet ski is injected into a hose connected to the center of the board. In turn, the functioning of the aquabike is provided by a gasoline engine. The power of the bike can be different. It depends on the flight altitude. For example, with a power of 150 hp. you will rise to a height of 6 meters. But if you have a 250 hp model, then you will rise to all 10 meters. The flow power is controlled by the instructor. Both adults and young people over the age of 16 can soar in the air. First, a small height is selected, and then the distance increases. There are instructors who work even with children from 6 years old.

For comparison, consider the principle of operation of professional boards. They have water jets hit from under their feet and hands at the same time. Additional hoses are brought under the elbows, providing a better balance. Professional flyboards are used in competitions and championships. With the help of the board, athletes move in the air and under water. Fantasy is not limited. The number of tricks too.

How to learn to fly?

If you are looking for where to fly on a flyboard, pay attention to group and individual flights. It usually takes a beginner no more than 5 minutes to learn how to use the board and get basic skills. Each flyboarder is given a helmet and vest.

Flights on the board are divided into 2 stages:

  1. On the land. This is a briefing that takes 5 to 10 minutes. The instructor will tell you about the basic safety rules, give out equipment (helmet, wetsuit, life jacket) and teach you how to use it correctly, teach flight techniques.

  2. On the water. The flight lasts from 10 minutes to 1 hour. The cost depends on the length of stay in the air.

First, your task is to learn how to stand steadily on the board and keep balance. Then you will learn to turn, then dive. This stage is called "training". It is carried out at a height of about 1 meter.

When you learn to stand confidently on the board and are ready to climb to a higher distance, the height increases to 5 meters.

Experienced flyboarders fly at a height of 9 meters.

To begin with, you can watch those who are not afraid to soar in the air and already know how to perform tricks. This will give you an idea of how to fly a flyboard and what you need to strive for. By the way, the rider does not have to be able to swim. The presence of a life jacket ensures safety during the flight. Add to this a protective helmet, wetsuit and special boots. If you have tried yourself in surfing, skateboarding or snowboarding, then you will master this sport much faster.
