'Fairy Tail' Creator Reveals Lucy & Natsu's Child

By Megan Peters

Fairy Tail may be over, but fans have yet to stop shipping their favorite would-be couples from the series. Characters like Natsu and Lucy have been paired together in fan-fics for years now, but Hiro Mashima never made the two a canon couple. However, it looks like the creator of Fairy Tail has thought about the romance.

After all, the artist did share a picture he sketched of Natsu and Lucy's child just recently.

Mashima is currently in the U.S. for New York Comic Con, and it was there the manga creator showed off the NaLu artwork. During a panel, a fan asked Mashima is he could draw the child of Natsu and Lucy, so he asked if they preferred a boy or girl. When the crowded voted for the heroes to have a daughter, the artist got to work. And, as you can see below, the sketch is definitely worth ogling at.

A fan requested nalu’s kid so Mashima asked if they wanted boy or girl and crowd voted girl so here is nashi/luna pic.twitter.com/RkJQfn0v4G

The girl, who fans have lovingly named Nashi, looks like the perfect blend of Lucy and Natsu. The girl has her mother's face, but her long and unruly hair lends itself more to Natsu. And, as you can see, the girl is wearing Natsu's trademark scarf.

Mashima didn't speak much about the drawing, but he did hint at what powers Nashi would have. When a fan asked what power the girl would have, Mashima said the girl would wield "Taurus Fire."

If you are familiar with the Fairy Tail fandom, then you will know Nashi isn't exactly a new idea. Fans have long imagined what the child of Natsu and Lucy would be like, and the fandom created Nashi as its own original character. Fans began using Nashi in fan-fics which imagined the next generation of Mashima's franchise. The character has become a popular secret within the fandom, but it looks like Nashi wasn't that well-kept.

But, hey - at least Mashima has given official artwork of Nashi now!

If you are not familiar with Fairy Tail, then it is about time you familiarized yourself with the story. The series follows a guild of young, powerful wizards who call Fairy Tail family. Set in a fictional Earth, a boy named Natsu teams up with an unlikely friend Lucy Heartfilia as the latter dreams of becoming a powerful wizard. To date, there are more than 250 episodes of the acclaimed series, and fans can expect more to come in the new year.

To date, several million copies of Fairy Tail have been sold worldwide. Published by Del Ray in the west, there are over 35 million volumes of the manga in circulation at the moment. Kodansha Comics is now overseeing the release of Fairy Tail projects in the U.S. and other western territories, and the licensing return has helped the publisher amass popularity. Other series like Attack on Titan have also helped bolster Kodansha's visibility outside of Japan, so fans can expect the company to continue pushing out new content as it becomes available.

Who in Fairy Tail has kids?

Erza Scarlet is the only character in the Fairy Tail series known to have children. She adopted two children, Hisui and Jellal’s daughter, Simyren, and raised them with Makarov. Hisui is a Celestial Spirit mage while Simyren possesses dragon-like characteristics.

Erza is a motherly figure to both of them, providing them with unconditional love and care. Both Hisui and Simyren feel indebted to Erza for taking them in and raising them as her own. Erza is also very protective of them and can often be seen bestowing motherly advice.

In addition, Gray Fullbuster and Juvia Lockser also adopted a child named Meredy. Meredy was an orphan from an area destroyed by Zeref, and Gray and Juvia decided to give her a home. Meredy was initially wary of Gray and Juvia, but eventually adapted and viewed them as her family.

Finally, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia adopted an Exceed, Happy, when he was a baby. Happy lived with Natsu and Lucy until the end of the series, and served as a loyal companion to both of them.

Tale Tail to Tail, Pakistani Tale

Early one morning a peasant with two bulls went out into the field and began to plow. Before he could make two or three circles, out of nowhere, a tiger appeared.
The peasant was stunned with fear, folded the palms of his hands imploringly, and, bowing to the tiger, murmured in a barely audible voice:
— O lord of the jungle, accept my deepest respect!
— Hm… I see that you don't have much meat on you, — the tiger growled, looking at him carefully. "You'd better learn to hunt like I do." After all, the fact that you scratch the ground is of little use.
“But we peasants do this from generation to generation,” said the plowman.
- Yes, I see you are completely stupid. Look at me, because I have such power because I hunt.
“Everyone should mind their own business, Mr. Tiger,” replied the peasant.
“Well, so be it,” the tiger snarled, “then I’ll mind my own business and have your bulls for breakfast first.” Unfasten them.
“Oh, why did I say that everyone should mind their own business,” the peasant began to reproach himself and, scratching his head, began to think about how to appease the tiger so that he would not touch the bulls.
— O lord of the jungle, — he finally said, — God created man to work the land and grow bread for his livelihood. To cultivate the land, he gave man cattle. And for the tigers he created deer, hares and jackals.
- I don't have time for all that chatter! the tiger barked. - Unharness the bulls as soon as possible! And his eyes flashed with anger.
- O lord, do not touch my bulls! the peasant pleaded. “In return, I will bring you a fat cow that my wife has carefully raised.
"But it's only enough for half my breakfast," the tiger licked his lips. - Now, if, in addition to the cow, you also bring a calf, then I will not touch your bulls.
The peasant untied the plow, put it on his shoulders and trudged home.
“Look, don’t deceive me,” the tiger threatened after him. “Otherwise, we will attack your village and slaughter everyone in general.
The peasant's wife was terribly surprised that her husband returned home so soon.
— Well, how lazy these men are, they just don't want to work, — she met him, grumbling under her breath. - I guess I forgot something.
The peasant squatted down, put his hands on his head and said nothing.
- What's wrong with you? wife was worried.
And her husband told her everything that had happened.
— Yeah, so you are ready to sacrifice our cow, which gives so much milk, for the sake of your stupid bulls? she wailed. “Yes, no matter how much you plow, we will never get a good harvest. Let the tiger eat your bulls. Soon our heifer will also become a cow, and then we will have two of them. We will sell a lot of milk and feed ourselves somehow.
The peasant clutched his head again and began to cry.
Coward, poor coward! the wife exploded. - Why are you crying? Let's figure out how to save the bulls.
- And what can you think of here? the peasant replied uneasily.
"That's it," the woman suggested. “Go back to the tiger and tell him that his wife will bring the cow herself.” Look, do not confuse anything, go.
The peasant was scared to death at the thought of going to the tiger without a cow. Indeed, in a rage, the tiger can eat him himself. But he did not object and, lowering his head, went into the field.
The tiger saw that the peasant was walking without a cow, and gnashed his teeth in rage. And the poor plowman, at the sight of an angry tiger, fell to his knees and trembled with fear.
Meanwhile, the peasant's wife, dressed in men's clothes and a turban, mounted a horse and rode into the field after her husband.
- Yeah! she cried in a loud voice at the sight of the tiger. “Thank God, a real tiger has finally been found. Now let's try it, for a long time I have not eaten fresh tiger meat. As a child, I ate one tiger almost every day.
Tiger even shook his head in surprise. Is it really conceivable that such a monster could eat one tiger a day?
The peasant's wife pulled out a sickle and, swinging it, rushed at the tiger.
See that sickle? I sharpened it like a razor. Get ready, now I'll blow your head with them.
The tiger was frightened, thought that the end was coming to him, and gave a stray. He looks - and a jackal runs towards him.
- Oh my lord! he says to the tiger. — Where are you going? I so dreamed of eating the bones of those bulls that you intended to eat today. Tell me, is there anything left?
- No, no, don't go there! There, near the peasant's field, a monster appeared on horseback, eating tigers.
— What are you?! the jackal chuckled. - Is the sun blinding your eyes? Yes, this is not a monster at all, but a peasant's wife, dressed in men's clothes. After all, I was not far away and saw everything.
— Hm!.. Are you sure about that? the tiger asked confused.
- Absolutely sure! And if the sun didn’t blind your eyes, you could see that something like a pig’s tail sticks out from under her turban from behind, ”said the jackal.
- I'm not such a fool not to see a woman in men's clothes. I assure you, this is a real monster. It nearly blew my head off with its sickle,” the tiger began to justify himself.
- Well, you are stubborn! Let's go back and I'll prove to you that this is none other than a woman in men's clothes," the jackal suggested.
"Don't play me, jackal," the tiger scowled. “I know that you jackals are cunning by nature.
- Not true! cried the jackal. We are called treacherous because we are smart. But you tigers are meant to drink blood, not show your tails when you see a woman with a sickle in her hands. I never thought you were such a coward!
The tiger felt offended.
- Am I a coward?! he roared. "Okay, let's go and see who it is." But promise me you won't run with your tail between your legs if you know it's really a monster.
- I not only promise, but I am ready to tie my tail with yours so that you believe that I am right. If that's the case, I won't be able to run away.
Tiger agreed and they tied tail to tail.
A farmer's wife brought her husband some food in a bag attached to the saddle. And as soon as she began to untie it, lo and behold - a tiger was approaching them with its servant, a jackal, and their tails were tied.
- Hurry, hurry, get on your horse and get out of here! cried the peasant in fright.
— And leave them to be eaten by bulls? the wife objected. You are not only stupid, you are also cowardly. Stay where you are, I'll deal with them myself... Bravo, jackal! she shouted as soon as the beasts came closer. Thank you for bringing me a tiger for dinner. Now I will eat it, and you will pick up the bones, as agreed.
Hearing such words, the tiger instantly realized that the jackal and the monster had agreed to eat him, pulled with all his strength, cut off his tail and rushed to run.
- O Mr Tiger! yelled the jackal. Don't be scared, this woman is just fooling us.
The cry of the jackal frightened the tiger even more, and he ran even faster. Moreover, the jackal also rushed after him.
At this point, it became quite clear to the tiger that his minion was in cahoots with the monster. In a few leaps he crossed the mountain and came to his senses only when he reached the lair.
The peasant's wife laughed and, turning to her husband, remarked instructively:
"All you men are cowards!"
Somehow a jackal prowled in the jungle, looking - a peacock was standing in the clearing, but so important, its tail spread out, its head shaking from side to side. The jackal stared at him and thinks:
“How fine birds are, these peacocks, how much beauty they have, how much grace and conceit! I wish I could be like this, but how? I'll talk to this peacock."
And the peacock, not suspecting anything, went around, as usual, several circles, climbed onto a pile of brushwood to feed, then started dancing, calling for rain with loud cries.
The jackal waited until the peacock finished his song, went up to him and said:
- Listen, peacock! You are so beautiful and important, and you scream as if in pain. Why don't you learn to crow like a cuckoo?
- And who will teach me the language of the cuckoo?
"Don't worry, I'll do it," the jackal replied proudly.

An instructive tale for boys and girls: Devil's tail: read a fairy tale, a story for children, text completely online That Devil had a magical tail. With the help of his tail, the Devil could find himself anywhere, but, most importantly, the Devil's tail could fulfill whatever he wanted, for this he had only to think of a wish and wave his tail.

This devil was very evil and very harmful. He used the magical power of his tail for harmful deeds. He arranged accidents on the roads, drowned people in the rivers, broke the ice under the fishermen, set fires and did many other atrocities.
One day the Devil got tired of living alone in his underground kingdom. He built himself a kingdom on earth, surrounded it with dense forests and swamps so that no one could approach him, and began to think about who else to populate his kingdom. The Devil thought and thought and came up with the idea of populating his kingdom with assistants who would commit harmful atrocities on his orders. The Devil decided to take naughty children as his assistants. He took out a magic mirror from the chest. He once stole this mirror from Vasilisa the Wise. This mirror showed everything you wanted. At the Devil's wish, the mirror showed him naughty children. They were two boys about five years old. They hid from the teacher behind the bushes and tried to light a fire. The teacher looked for them, called, but the boys did not respond. The devil liked these boys, and he carried them with the help of his magic tail to his kingdom. At first the boys were very frightened, but the Devil reassured them. He said that he would soon let them go home, but for now let them stay with him. The Devil had prepared a lot of interesting things for children: various attractions, water slides, bicycles, cars, computer games, various toys, including even smart robots. All this could be taken, all used. Everything was allowed for the boys: they could light matches, break windows, and hang on chandeliers. And there was a lot of food here. There were many sweets and fruits. Everything could be eaten. You could even pour juices and throw cakes. Nothing was forbidden to the guys. Watching the guys hooligans, the Devil was not angry, not upset, but, on the contrary, even rejoiced. The boys really liked visiting the Devil, especially since new children appeared. These were also naughty children whom the Devil took to his kingdom.
There were more and more children in the damn kingdom. They played, ate, fooled around. Meanwhile, some of the children, the most hooligan and mischievous, began to develop tails, horns, and their noses began to turn into snouts. The children were frightened by this, and they were tired of fooling around, many wanted to return home. But the Devil announced to them that they would all become his assistants, and that they would not want to go home, he would take away their memory. Having announced this, the Devil waved his tail, and in an instant the memory of each child turned into a gray mouse. The mice scattered in different directions, and all the children immediately forgot that they were children. They forgot that they have parents, grandparents, sisters and brothers. Everyone began to consider themselves imps - the Devil's helpers. The Devil endowed all his assistants with the magical power that was in their tails. As soon as one of the devils wished to find himself somewhere, he could do it with the help of his tail. Moreover, any imp could move anyone anywhere with the help of the magical power of its tail. To do this, the imp only had to express his desire and touch with his tail the one he wants to move. The little devils began to help the Devil to commit various mischief and atrocities. For naughty children, the Devil began to send his assistants now. The number of children in the damn kingdom grew. Moreover, on the third day of their stay in it, all the children lost their memory, which turned into gray mice. And all the children grew horns and tails, and the noses of all the children turned into piglets.

This summer Fedya Egorov was visiting his grandparents. He lived with them amicably, helped them in everything, was obedient. But one morning Fedya became stubborn. He did not get up for breakfast, as he usually did, although his grandparents woke him up, and when he woke up, his grandfather was no longer at home. Instead of a kind greeting, Fedya reproached his grandmother for not waking him up in time, and instead of morning exercises, he began to chase chickens around the yard. Grandmother was very upset by Fedya's behavior. She went out into the yard to stop him. At that very moment, the Devil asked the mirror to show the naughty children, and the mirror immediately showed Fedya. “A suitable boy,” thought the Devil, and sent his assistant for Fedya. The little imp, with the help of its tail, suddenly ended up in the kitchen in the house of Fedya's grandparents. He turned on the fire in the burner under the saucepan in which something was being cooked, and a minute later the saucepan began to gurgle, hiss, and the broth began to squirt out of it over the edge. Feeling the smell, the grandmother rushed to the kitchen, and the imp - to Fedya. Fedya did not even have time to be surprised when he saw the imp, as he deftly whipped him with his tail, and both of them - the imp and Fedya, found themselves in the devil's kingdom. Interspersed with the devils there were children who had not yet had time to turn into devils. Everyone was doing what they wanted: some were chasing a ball, others were playing board games, some were sleeping, some were eating, some were trying water skiing, some were drawing, some were swinging. Fedya was interested in all this. He did not even notice how he got involved in the games of children and devils. How much, how little time passed, but suddenly an imp boy approached him and spoke to him. The devil's voice sounded familiar to Fedya.
- Hello, Fedya! You will not recognize me? I am Kostya Chizhikov.
— How, Kostya? Fedya did not believe. Surprised, he even rubbed his eyes. Although now Fedya remembered that the devil's voice was the voice of Kostya Chizhikov, his friend and neighbor on the landing. Here Fedya immediately recognized Kostina's little imp as homemade black pants with harnesses. The pants were notable for the fact that one harness fastened with a blue button. Kostya sewed it on himself once and was very proud of it. But when Fedya saw that Kostya's cat Ryzhik was peeking out from behind the imp's bosom, he was completely at a loss. Why is this imp with Kostya's voice, in Kostya's pants and with Kostya Ryzhik in his bosom claiming that he is Kostya.
The little devil told Fedya how he got here, how he played here with the guys and the little devils, and how on the third day he got horns, a tail grew, and his nose turned into a snout. Even for a while, Kostya forgot that he was Kostya's boy, because his memory turned into a gray mouse. Perhaps Kostya would always have thought that he was born to be a devil, if not for Ryzhik. Ginger tracked down the mouse - Kostya's memory, caught it and brought it to the owner. As soon as Kostya touched the mouse, his memory returned.
- How did Ryzhik get here? Fedya asked.
Kostya affectionately looked at his cat, stroked him and said that when the devil Misha waved his tail to move Kostya, Ryzhik decided that they were playing with him and rushed to the tail. So all three of them ended up in the devil's kingdom.
Another imp-Kostya told Fedya that all the imps here are former children. The devil has turned their memory into gray mice, and the imps do not remember that they were boys and girls. He said that the tails of all the devils are magical. And he also said that the Chief Devil, who lives in a golden palace, rules everything here. This Devil has a magical tail that can do anything.
- Why don't you run away from here? Fedya asked Kostya. “You have a magical tail, with which you can find yourself anywhere.
- Where will I run away? Kostya answered sadly, and tears welled up in his eyes. - How will I go to kindergarten with such a horned and tailed one? Everyone will laugh at me, they will be afraid of me. Nobody will recognize me. Well, you didn't know either.
"Don't be upset," Fedya began to reassure his friend. - We have to think of something.
- What can you think of? I've been thinking a lot. The main thing is you save yourself, Fedya. Come on, I'll take you back to the village.
- What about you? Fedya asked. - How are the other children? I can't leave you here!
“But you yourself will be lost,” Kostya objected and, without waiting for Fedya’s answer, whipped him with his tail. Both boys, together with Ryzhik, found themselves on the terrace of their grandmother.
There was no one at home. Fedya thought guiltily that his grandmother must have gone looking for him.
- Well, goodbye, Fedya, - Kostya began to say goodbye. - I'll be back soon. Otherwise, if the Chief Devil finds out that I helped you, he will immediately understand that my memory has returned to me, and then I will be unhappy.
- Wait! Fedya quickly grabbed his friend's hand. - Do not disappear! Need to come up with something.
- I thought a lot. Now, if the Devil were to take away his magic tail...
— That's right! - Fedya was delighted.
— But how to do it? I don't know, - Kostya answered sadly.
- Come on, let's turn to the Good Wizard!
— Do such people exist? Kostya hesitated.
— And why not? Well, since there are evil devils, there must be good wizards as well,” suggested Fedya.
“Probably,” Kostya shrugged absently.
- Command your tail to take us to the Good Wizard.
- I'll try.
With these words, Kostya carefully set Ryzhik down on the windowsill. The boys thought it over again, both made a wish to get to the Good Wizard, Kostya whipped Fedya with his tail, and in an instant they disappeared. Ryzhik remained on the terrace to amuse himself by catching flies.
Kostya and Fedya really ended up at the Good Wizard's. They told him everything that had happened to them. The wizard scolded the guys for their disobedience and gave them a magical bag of invisibility. This bag is invisible, and what is in it is not visible. The Wizard gave the guys even bigger scissors with which to cut off the Devil's tail, gave them a rope that the guys would have to tie the Devil instead of a tail, and gave each of the guys a cap of invisibility. On the road, the Wizard admonished the guys:
- Be very careful. Act quickly and silently. And remember, the cut off tail of the Devil in your hands will still have magical powers. Use it carefully!
The guys thanked the Wizard, put on invisibility caps and returned to the devil's kingdom.
Meanwhile, the Devil looked in the magic mirror, looking for naughty children. The boys quietly crept up behind him. Kostya carefully lifted the devil's tail, and Fedya brought scissors to it. As soon as he touched the tail with magic scissors, he immediately fell off. The boys quickly put the tail into an invisibility bag, and instead tied the Devil's rope and quickly ran away from the palace. First of all, Fedya took out a magic tail and commanded:
- Hell in a cage!
- Right! Kostya was delighted.
Fedya waved his devil's tail, and the Devil ended up in a cage. Not understanding what had happened, the Devil went berserk, began to whip with his tail-rope, but the cage did not disappear. Seeing that instead of a magic tail he had a simple rope, the Devil realized that he had fallen into a trap.
Fedya and Kostya continued on. With the help of a fairy tail, they turned all the children-devils back into children. Everyone's horns and tails disappeared, and their noses became what they were.
