0 plays left

My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves this app. However, it ended up saying she had 0 plays left. Nowhere on the app allows you to purchase. Or pay for more plays. It says unlock for free plays so we go in and enter our information but then says my email already exist. And again, with no option to pay for more plays. So she’s been really upset. I had to enter another email. I hope this isn’t the only way to play this app.
Other than that, I would have given 5 stars.

We would love to look into this for you! Please reach out to our Member Experience team at [email protected].

Would love to see more app games!

My son absolutely loves this app. But unfortunately children do grow I do hope to see more fantastic app games for him in the mere future. However I do have one request since this was also a fisher price game. Do you happen to have fisherprice’s pet shop game back when it was on the pc? I played it with my son on the pc he loved it but thought the game was something he could touch on screen than use the computer mouse lol that game would be wonderful on the app devices. I hope it isn’t much trouble but if it is I guess will just stick with the pc version. But he did enjoy this app very much and I highly recommend this for new parents with children.

Aww I miss the old app!

My first child is 7 yrs old now but back when he was just 6 months old to around 2/3 yrs we both enjoyed the old fisher price apps so much that when I had my newest little one I wanted to download the apps again only to find out there no longer on the App Store and now there’s a new version, the new version is okay but I gotta say the old app with the cute little rhymes like Pattycake and the itsy bitsy spider was our fav this app only has one rhyme witch is “1,2 buckle my shoe” witch we also love but disappointed that this app only includes one rhyme for the rhymes section witch is misleading as it’s labeled (Rhymes). Please bring back the old app!

Thank you for reaching out! We had to say goodbye to some beloved songs to consolidate content across the Fisher-Price apps. Please know that we made these changes to set up a more robust experience for little learners, and will continue to add content. We’ll consider your feedback as we make updates in the coming months!

Fisher's ten rules - MK

We have already told funny stories about all the world champions, from Steinitz to Carlsen. But all the interesting cases from the biographies of chess kings cannot be exhausted. Today we will talk about Alekhine, Euve and Fischer.

The warning that went unheeded

The tournament in the German city of Mannheim began on July 18, 1914. On August 2, Alexander Alekhine played against the German master Paul Kruger. Both chess players made moves so rapidly that Savely Tartakover, who was watching the game, was surprised: “Are they playing blitz!?”. Indeed, after 11 minutes the game was over. How can this be explained?

The night before, Krueger left his hotel room, walked down the corridor and knocked on the door of the Russian champion. When it opened, the German, without entering the room, said: “Mr. Alekhine, do you know that today my country declared war on Russia? I must disappoint you, but very soon German troops will be in Moscow. Blitzkrieg! So tomorrow I will play blitz with you. If you are a noble person, you should also answer me immediately.” “As you wish,” Alekhin shrugged.

Blitz means lightning. But the war turned out to be by no means lightning fast: it dragged on for more than four years and claimed millions of lives. Germany seemed to "defeat" Russia, but under the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, she lost a significant part of her lands. As a result of the war, the communists came to power in Russia, and the fascists came to power in Germany, albeit with some delay.

The game Alekhine - Kruger ended in a draw, which was rather strange, because in blitz they rarely diverge peacefully, especially since Alekhine was significantly superior to his opponent. Maybe the Lord God, who was watching their game from heaven, forced the Russian and German to disperse in peace, in order to make it clear to them and all of humanity that no one ever wins in wars!? If so, then the hint of the Almighty "did not reach. "

Paul Krüger died on August 7, 1939, 24 days before the start of a new world war.

Strike

In the match for the title of champion of Amsterdam with master Davidson, Max Euwe won the first two games, and then the opponent suddenly went on strike. This is how he reacted to the malicious reports of local newspapers, who called him a dude! To resolve the dispute, an authoritative commission gathered, which, after studying the games played, came to the conclusion that it was not the journalists who were to blame, but Mr. Davidson himself, who really played at the start ... like a dude! As a result, the match was not continued, and Euwe was declared the champion of Amsterdam.

Flying Dutchman

Euwe was a passionate promoter of chess, he traveled all over the world with lectures, sessions and performances. He was not embarrassed by long distances and climate change. Like the Russian Tsar Peter I, respected in Holland, who “cut a window to Europe,” Euwe was said to have cut “chess windows” to Indonesia, South America and South Africa, Japan, Mongolia and other exotic countries for chess. And sports fans called him the same as one of the most famous football players in the country, Johan Cruyff, who was rapidly moving across the field, - the flying Dutchman. As FIDE President in the 70s, he traveled to 100 countries. This record held for half a century until it was broken twice by the current FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. However, during this time the number of countries belonging to FIDE has exceeded 200.

FIDE Citizen

As a public figure and FIDE President, Euwe was a great diplomat, he always tried to smooth things over and avoided conflicts. In difficult moments, when FIDE was on the verge of a split, he skillfully maneuvered and reconciled the opposing sides. It is to him that the chess world owes the fact that in 1972 the match between Spassky and Fischer took place in Reykjavik and the American genius won the crown. And in 1976, when Korchnoi became a defector after the tournament in Amsterdam and was left without citizenship (he officially received Swiss citizenship only many years later), Euwe proposed declaring the “chess villain” a FIDE citizen! So we can assume that the applicant held two fights for the world championship with Karpov as a citizen of a country called FIDE.

Fischer's Ten Rules That Chess Players Can Use

We invite you to get acquainted with Bobby Fischer's 10 chess rules, but do not forget that this chess genius had very unusual views and it is not always advisable to unquestioningly follow his rules, especially since some of them they are more than strange, like the author himself, who formulated them.

1. Bring joy to others! And you will see that joy pleases.

2. Genius is just a word. When I win, I am a genius. When I don't win, I'm not a genius.

3. There is nothing to learn at school. The teachers are stupid. You can't let women work with them. In my school, only the physical education teacher was not stupid - he played chess well.

4. Today you give your opponent a lesson, and tomorrow he will teach you. This is what chess consists of

5. About women. Chess is much better.

6. Religion helps me play better, and that's all I'm interested in it.

7. I play fair and always try to win. And if I lose, then this is a misunderstanding, and I take a pill.

8. Chess must be treated with as much respect as boxing. No matter how much Mohammed Ali asks for his fight, I will demand more.

9. It is pointless to believe in psychology, you can only believe in strong moves.

10. Boys waste their time on girls. Chess is what brings true satisfaction, and it can also bring money.
