Sight words are words that students should be able to read by sight.  These are words that are difficult or impossible to sound out and thus must be memorized.  For Kindergarten it is suggested that students learn Pre-primer and Primer words from the Dolch 220 word list.  Below you’ll find free printable sight word play dough mats for all of the pre-primer words.  This is a fantastic way to incorporate some hands-on learning into your classroom.  We suggest you print on cardstock and laminate for durability.  Alternatively, you could place each page inside a page protector and then keep a set of them in a three-ring binder.

44 Free Sight Word Playdough Mats

I made these 44 FREE sight word playdough mats for YOU, because I'm so tired of seeing kids being sent home with sight word flashcards. BORING!

I get that things need to be simple, or we won't do them as parents, so I've create completely free hands-on playdough mats for your young reader to use. They're not individual pdfs either, just one big, easy packet to start using instantly.

Which sight words are included in the packet?

Included in the packet are 44 words from Fry's first 100 sight words list.

When I taught kindergarten would introduce 1-2 sight words a week and these are the words that I taught first! Teachers choose sight words at their own discretion, and there is no one "right" list for kindergarten. These are also the words I am teaching my daughter first.

All the words included in the sight word playdough mats packet:

  • a
  • all
  • am
  • an
  • and
  • are
  • as
  • be
  • by
  • can
  • do
  • for
  • go
  • has
  • have
  • he
  • his
  • how
  • I
  • if
  • in
  • is
  • it
  • like
  • look
  • me
  • more
  • my
  • no
  • of
  • on
  • or
  • said
  • see
  • she
  • so
  • than
  • that
  • the
  • they
  • to
  • was
  • we

Why are these playdough mats so effective at teaching sight words? Well, the key to learning sight words is exposure. Since many sight words don't sound how they're spelled, kids must recognize them by sight.

Yes, that's why they're called sight words. Some teachers call them different things: tricky words, rainbow words, rule breakers, etc. In order to memorize these strange yet vital words, kids need to interact with them many times.

How to use your sight word playdough mats:

Each sight word playdough mat has 4 ways to interact with the word, and kids will see the sight word they're working on 6+ times during the activity.

See the playdough mats in action:

Roll It Out/Playdough Section

First, kids will roll out their playdough into long "snake" pieces, then twist and shape them into the letters that form the sight words. This sensory way to learn, really benefits all kids, especially young children who are often tactile learners (those who learn by touching).

Besides being a great sensory invitation to play, did you know that playing with playdough majorly builds up the small muscles in the hands needed for fine motor skills. I tell you all about why those are so important in this post about fine motor development!

Read and Cover Section

Next kids will read the sight words in the left bottom corner and splat them with playdough.

Make 3 small playdough balls, and have kids smush the ball with their fingers on top of the sight word on the mat! Kids won't need to know how to read all the sight words in this section, only to find the one they're working on. However, seeing all the sight words they've previously worked on, only helps cement their memorization.

Find the word "of" and then squash it!
Trace and Write Section

The final section has a tracing component, and a writing component. If working with 4 year olds, they can just trace the sight word with their finger. When working with older kids in kindergarten and first grade, they can trace the word with their finger or a dry erase marker. If they're ready to write independently, the final line includes a space to try that, the most difficult step.

In sight word playdough mats, kids are building the word through sensory play, scanning and finding the word with reading skills, tracing the word, and finally writing it. With so many different kinds of interactions, these sight words have a much higher chance of being memorized than with boring, old flashcards!

Tips for best use of your sight word playdough mats:

  1. Wanna use these over and over again? For best results, use cardstock. Cardstock is thicker so it'll last longer, but if you're gonna be one and done, just print on regular paper.
  2. Laminate or place your sheet in a sheet protector. Who has a laminator? Though it is a nice way to preserve your sight word mats, it might be tricky to access, so use these sheet protectors, and BAM, you can use it again and again.
  3. Check out these 16 other incredible sight word games that I use to increase exposure and help make reading a fun, bonding experience for me and my daughter.
  4. Throw the flashcards away. ; )

I beg you not to retire. Ready to make any adjustments. You can say not “development”, but “education”, if you don’t want didactics, let’s “awaken” or “light a spark”. I don't like "extraordinary", let's say - "creative". It's not about terms. I think that there are few hunters to argue that it is much more interesting for a person with a developed imagination and fantasy to live in this world than a simple “single-celled one”. So, we will develop, if it is possible in principle, and with the help of just a few books.

All books in this review are about literature. Unlike, say, cinema or television, where the images are already set by the authors in a visual form, literature, as Zweig ironically, is nothing more than "a small stack of paper covered with printed signs." The reader must himself, on the basis of the “silent” word, reconstruct in his imagination the picture of life that the writer imagines. This is the unique feature and superiority of literature: it requires labor and talent from the reader. Moreover, she herself is able to awaken this talent.

“Literature needs talented readers just as much as talented writers,” remarked S.Ya. Marshak. “It is on them, on these talented, sensitive, imaginative readers, that the author counts when he strains his mental strength in search of the right image, the right turn of action, the right word. The artist-author takes on only part of the work. The rest must be supplemented by the imagination of the artist-reader. Without such a reader, "all the works of Homer, Dante, Shakespeare, Goethe, Pushkin are just a dumb and dead pile of paper."

It is possible to awaken the reader's talent in a child. This will certainly be facilitated by the experience of a real life conflict, which will remind the child of something read. This, of course, will be helped by the clever word of an older friend experienced in literature. And of course, books.

If you have read to your child, for example, English poetry of the absurd translated by S.Ya. Marshak (“Three wise men in one basin...”), Edward Lear’s limericks translated by G. Kruzhkov, or the book “In My Imagination” by B. Zakhoder, where there are animals that do not exist in reality - Kavot, Kamut, Rapunok, Stranger, then the kid, we can assume, has already completed his initial training at the school of imagination. “The poems tell us something. // But not always. // Not for everyone” (B. Zakhoder). And if Alice in Wonderland by L. Carroll has become the favorite book of the child, you can not fuss too much - everything is in order with your child's imagination.

No one knows how many ways there are to awaken a sleeping fantasy.

Let's try only three.

Method 1

There is probably nothing more fun than writing your own fairy tales. But this is true literary work! How to master it? There is one curious book for adults and serious people that will tell you how to deal with children so that they, in the end, can make a salad from fairy tales .

Method 2

Of course, you have noticed that when you re-read your favorite book after some time, you find so many new things in it! We are changing. But a literary work also changes every time depending on what the reader can and wants to find in it.

“I promise to confuse your head like that!”, or what is this very “Plasticine of the World” .

Method 3

Two rather "older" books will help you and your growing children to visit the "workshop of the word" of the greatest and most famous. Someone will say: “But what, there are no newer books?” There is why. But these are the most necessary, able to tell about secret creativity .

Rodari J. Grammar of fantasy: An introduction to the art of storytelling / Per. from Italian. Yu.A. Dobrovolskaya. - 2nd ed. — M.: Progress, 1990. — 192 p.

The Italian writer Gianni Rodari is known to us primarily as the author of the fairy tale "The Adventures of Cipollino". But he has other great books as well. Among them is the "Grammar of Fantasy". The unusualness of the book is that it helps adults to penetrate the world of children's fantasies, which means to understand the child more deeply and help him. Rodari offers several simple tricks for inventing all sorts of stories - such as, for example, purposely twisting fairy tales, fairy tales inside out, the ability to make a new fairy tale out of an old one. Would you like to try making a salad out of fairy tales? Gianni Rodari's advice will teach you to "design" riddles and "build" a whole story from a single word. But do not think that the children's storyteller has created a manual for the preparation of future writers. “Free wording is for everyone!” — this is the motto he proclaims in his book. Good writing, according to J. Rodari, is necessary "not only so that everyone is an artist, but so that no one is a slave."

Klyuev E.V. Between two chairs. - M.: Pedagogy, 1989. - 159 p.: ill. - (Know thyself: Psychology - for schoolchildren).

They say that there is already a new edition (2001) of this book and it has 176 pages. Didn't see it, unfortunately. But if this is true, I am very, very glad - the book is needed today by many.

Despite the fact that there cannot be a textbook on overcoming stereotyped thoughts, fighting the dominance of stereotypes, and eradicating the habit of following the beaten paths, this book has been in existence for all the years of its existence (since 1989) served as a kind of manual - a coach in intellectual dynamism and looseness.

In general, this story has been living a rather turbulent life since its birth. A lot of people, both adults and teenagers, know about it and are ready to talk with obvious delight. She is constantly quoted. And recently, my daughter, catching me reading it again, suddenly said: “And here, in our school theater, a performance was staged based on this book.” In doing so, she used the word "cool". She is forgiving. And I'm in shock. Not from a slang word, but from the fact that it is impossible to put on a performance based on this book, in my (stereotypical, unfortunately) idea.

I will repeat the words of Professor M.V. Panov, who wrote the preface to the story: this is a book in which “overcoming stereotypes is its artistic goal, which does not teach, but causes the desire to assume, invent, combine inventions, delve into unexpected thoughts.”

Doctor of Philology MV Panov proposed a subtitle for this story: "Philosophical and logical-linguistic paradoxes of the semantics of possible worlds. " And the author himself formulated the main theme of the book: "Asymmetric dualism of the linguistic sign." Don't be alarmed, these scientific terms are certainly accurate. But the book is fiction, it was written for a fairly erudite, original-minded reader with a sense of humor. For some, this is a book about language, about the theory of knowledge, about the psychology of the perception of literature and art, for others it is a fascinating story. The author invites readers to a “feast of imagination”: “I promise not to give you peace, rest and peace, I promise to deceive you at every step, I promise to confuse your head so that the most ordinary things will become mysterious and in the end incomprehensible, I promise lead you to all the dead ends that will meet along the way, and finally I promise you the collapse of all hopes and illusions, as well as the complete trampling of Life Experience and Common Sense.

So, a handsome, but overly serious young man, either Peter or Pavel, called Peter and Paul to avoid misunderstandings, embarks on a journey through the expanses of literature. He meets: Bon Juan, Oh, whether Lukoy, White Brainless, Plasticine of the World, Gulliput, Far Away Swell, Adjacent Queen, Vosche Immortal, Heavenly Dwarf, etc. Just don’t think that the letters on the keyboard “sink” on me, and therefore complete misprints. Nothing like this! It is with these heroes that Peter and Paul meets. I especially like his conversations with the Plasticine of the World. They, I think, are the essence of the book. “How long are you going to fool me? “It won’t work with you for a long time. You are too boring and you are always looking for something that is not there - certainty. So you seriously think that everything in the world can be either this or that? — How else? - Yes, as you like: this way, and that way, neither way nor that way! .. and in general - in every way! .. ”- this is a small quote from the conversation of Peter and Paul with Plasticine. You feel it's time to take out the book and read from the first page, otherwise you won't understand anything.

Paustovsky K.G. Golden Rose: A Tale. - L .: Det. lit., 1987. - 239 p.: ill. - (School library).

The story of Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky "The Golden Rose" (since 1955 - the time of his birth - has been published repeatedly). According to the writer himself, this is “a book about how books are written.” Read the story with which it begins. The story of how Jean Chamet, a Parisian garbage collector, collected dust for a golden rose is a vivid metaphor for creativity as such. “Every minute, every word and glance thrown by chance,” Paustovsky wrote, “every deep or playful thought, every imperceptible movement of the human heart, as well as the flying fluff of a poplar or the fire of a star in a night puddle, are all grains of gold dust. We, writers, have been extracting them for decades, these millions of grains of sand, collecting them imperceptibly for ourselves, turning them into an alloy and then forging our “golden rose” from this alloy - a story, a novel or a poem. What a price an accurately found word has, how ordinary details of life become facts of great art, how outstanding masters of literature worked on their books - read about all this in The Golden Rose.

Parandovsky Ya. Alchemy of the word: Petrarch: King of life / Per. from Polish. — M.: Pravda, 1990. — 651p.: ill.

Jan Parandowski is a well-known Polish writer, a major specialist in ancient culture. Perhaps no other book will reveal as many secrets of writing as his "Alchemy of the Word", written in 1972.

During the Middle Ages, alchemists tried in their mysterious laboratories to obtain gold and silver from simple metals by means of the so-called "philosopher's stone". To their contemporaries, they seemed like magicians. Mastering the magic of the word, according to Parandovsky, is no less mysterious. The writer introduces the reader to the laboratories of the most famous "alchemists of the word" of different times and peoples, and among them are Russians - Gogol, Chekhov, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Goncharov. It shows what an incredible effort of spirit was required, for example, by Flaubert, to create literally every page of his works. And Turgenev? While on the operating table, he chose words to accurately convey the sensations when a surgeon's scalpel penetrates his body.

“However, The Alchemy of the Word is not just a collection of curious information about great writers. This is a brilliant treatise on the psychology of creativity, which can be considered as an introduction to the art of writing, as well as to the art of reading,” Svyatoslav Belza described the book in the preface.

Everything is no longer divided into yours and mine

Five Mondays before summer the engine pulsates in the chest
And ahead of the night, cigarettes and days of smiles ahead
We are at the front door together and drowning in May district
You offer to come in and no "no"

And through the mesh of stockings, we blow smoke into the ceiling
And your lips are current . .. the lights go out

Suddenly the globe sways in silence, and we are so yo-yo-yo
And the young sparkle of our eyes will predict summer
Everything has ceased to be divided into yours and mine

All our dreams will come true this summer

C - G - Am - F
flying into the abyss will not go astray,
and we will not forget their names.
the angels of the streets will help
keep their teeth through these yards.

Rollton today - Rolls Royce tomorrow.
in the yellow arrow - punk rock and wine.
C - E - Am - F
but this train is not waiting for anyone.

Am - F - C - G
all our dreams will come true this summer,
close your eyes and fly with me.

Am - F - C - G
city walls will tell about love
Am - E - Am
the meaning of life in the inscriptions on T-shirts
Am - C - E - Am
torn knees, a dozen partaks
F - E
our summer will be long

morning will spread on the roofs of houses.
on the air will turn crazy days.
my religion is love.
love free from bullshit.

hang from a shelf, drink bitter tea
and jump off the train in front of the bridge,
find your home in the July grass.

all our dreams will come true this summer,
close your eyes and fly with me.

the walls of cities will tell about love,
the meanings of life in the inscriptions on T-shirts,
torn knees, a dozen partaks -
our summer will be long!

Sleep on the runway

Em - D - G - D

this is a dream on the runway: inside — love
greasing shines in the hair
ink has spilled under the skin —
I’m walking down the street alone
you’re walking down the street alone

it’s a dream on the runway
to leave the yards from the cops
and meet another dawn
to the recitatives of trains
we were connected by threads of roads
about you my every new track
but I hate Russian rock
and you hate Russian rap

Chorus:

Em - Am - G - H 6
we sing the hymn to broken knees
the long play is over
we put it on repeat
everyone will understand the rake
youth will forgive everything

it’s a dream on the runway
they don’t like our appearance
the way you sing in rush hour in the crowd
under the bit launched from the tablet
they don’t like everything that burns
we don’t like everything that doesn’t rush
spring justified maximalism
the rest in general doesn’t fuck.

Beautiful new world

Em - D - C - H

warm, lamp,
May, matte,
unsolved
brave new world

revolution suffered in battles
for you and me
brave new world

Am
meanwhile the war
G
carloads of corpses
everything is nonsense
if we are young

just to live, just not to fall
to choke tomorrow, to crush this scum 9002?
will you stand up to your full height
or trouble
or again derailed

no one but us
this game is worth the candle
the sun is out
you need to light it up!

Am
and ruins
C
I'm writing a name
your name
your name

warm lamp
May matte
unsolved
brave new world

revolution
it's you and me
it's you and me
brave new world

Pank-rock (

904 inflates our sails)

hands are squeezing brass knuckles of enlightenment
the sun hits right in my eyes
and I have not a drop of doubt
which means not a step back

everything that we saw, heard, knew
everyone trampled, drank, sold
which means there is nothing more to lose, you hear
it means you are an orphan like me

punk rock inflates our sails
punk rock makes you believe in miracles
punk rock does not let me pull the trigger
punk rock. . punk -rock

heart beats in a frantic rhythm
blood boils in the temples
and every day, like on a razor's edge
I won't live to be forty

we rejected the whole adult world, sent it,
we were banned for too long
and now we have forgotten everything what we were taught
and learned to dream

punk rock sets our sails
punk rock makes you believe in miracles
punk rock won't let me pull the trigger
punk rock.. punk rock

years will pass, but the spirit of this time
in we are forever
and in the firmament of your enlightenments
the same star is

the past has passed, the future may not be
this is definitely about us
which means there is nothing more to lose, you hear
dance right here and now

hide and seek

It's just a game
But if you're lucky
If it's hot

You can hide like this
What to sit until the morning
cheers!

Where no one will find
Where there is whiskey and ice
Where it doesn’t hurt at all
And it doesn’t smear
Where they don’t know about death
Violet light
Where yours and mine
Will become ours

And from the chest the sun
And from the mouth the wind
We will hide and not be found
And the one who drives will not notice

Knock-knock for yourself

It's such a game
He counts to a hundred
And starts looking

If you're not a fool
Then run as fast as you can
there

Where no one can find
Where whiskey and ice
Where it doesn't hurt at all
And does not smear
Where they do not know about death
Purple light
Where is yours and mine
Will become ours

And from the chest the sun
And from the mouth the wind
We will hide and not be found
And the one who drives will not notice

Knock-knock for you

Eternal high

A — E — F#m — D
but something has changed forever
and it's a thrill

barefoot on a tile
feel the rhythm of the planet
and leave the house at noon
it's a thrill

to go smile at the sun
and meet wonderful people
towards - the shining city
and this is a high

A - E - F#m - E
eternal high
the best high
the main high

I will meet my best friend
he smokes one by one
as if something something happened
something is wrong

and we will smile at each other
we will sit in a tavern on the soviet
i will say, bro, take it easy
light cold body
and scatter my ashes over the sea
this is a buzz

and a warm salty wind
on the crowns of hundred-year-old trees
will play this melody
for everyone

Hello, all this is me

nerves are at the limit
and she no longer waits
when it is so hard to believe
when there is a lump at the throat
when your flight is wrapped around your neck

fall
to the very bottom
but always remember
that you create everything yourself
you did it all yourself

fall
to the bottom
but always remember
that you did it all yourself
you did it all yourself

believe in miracles
believe in miracles again

hello, all this is me
pieces of paper a little bit
nervously
hello, this garbage
is written correctly from my words

hello, all this is me
and instead of bulls in the ashtray syringes
hello. goodbye.
I fell in love again
and again with you

The whole of the holes

In the wounds of the wounds

The deafening sun
licks the Pacific Ocean

but it's just God
crazy in love with us

this is what does not let you fall
is something that keeps you from falling
is something that doesn't let you fall
is something that doesn't let you fall

Astronauts

F#m - D - A - C#
something that doesn't kill you
don’t take it anymore
and from what doesn’t insert
run-run-run
we are minions of fate, which means
we have a karmic carte blanche
look, don’t fuck
look, don’t fuck

F#m — D - A - E
suddenly the globe sways in silence
and we dance, yo-yo-yo
and the youthful sparkle of our eyes
will predict summer
everything is no longer divisible by
yours and mine
and there are no prohibitions

F#m - E - A
around space
around space
around space
D - A - E

cosmonauts around

5 Mondays until summer
the engine pulsates in the chest
and the night ahead, cigarettes
and days of smiles ahead

we are at the front door together
and the area is drowning in May
you suggest to come in
and no "no"

and through a net of stocking
We let smoke into the ceiling of
and your lips current
will go out light

Levitations

EM - D - G - D
The road will submit to the 9,0004 Heaven or at least take off
here everything is ephemeral
but real
and everything pulsates to the beat of Him

Gm - D - Em - C
and these vibrations
do not let you sleep at all
rainbows are pouring from all holes

this song is stupid -
hymn of levitation

peace to the world!

we are scattered for quotes
posters, posters
and as if to spite gravity
Yesterday in Amsterdam,
today here in St. Petersburg
tomorrow somewhere else and

and these vibrations
do not let you sleep at all
rainbows pour from all holes 9002 this song is wise -
hymn of levitation

world - peace!

everyone is equal, it doesn't matter
there is no ideal
it all depends on what kind of prism is in the head

state - thought
change - also
when you fall down
meaning is to..

G - H - C - D this strange disco

Spasibo!

D — E — A — F#m

I am grateful for everyone who is here
for the full hall, smiles and laughter
for the fact that my track
is heard on the radio from every stall
when you appreciate what you have
you always achieve more

I am grateful for hundreds of roads
for our convenient, cool multivan
for the fact that the sound rocked this club
for the concert tomorrow again
for what you give - will be back twice
remember this simple recipe

A — F#m — D — E

thanks for the sun
thanks for the sea
for the hot summer
and the dance floor
thanks for the space
thanks for the mom
D

and for Ukrainian marijuana

D — E — A — F#m

I rejoice to all those who are here
to all those who are with me here and now
to all those who once betrayed me
and made it a thousand times stronger than
when you fly and burn bridges
you don't have to be afraid of your height

I'm grateful for the shelf in the compartment
for strong strings and smooth action
so easy to write when spring is inside
the world smiles at those who are happy for it

Don't kill us (we're in Love)

G - D - Em -C
dancing on the edge
dancing non-stop
in blue fog
delirious strobe lights

I close my eyes
and walk

everything I know
has always been there
I am grateful for this gift
for the shooting stars
for those who are with me today

C — D -Em
eventually , we are all brothers and sisters
branches of the same tree, warm springs
in the end, we are all children of the beautiful earth

G - Em - A - D
don't kill us, we're in love
don't kill us, we're in love
don't kill us, we're in love
with you

dancing madness
dancing on the verge
the main thing is
calling your mother

when you left home in winter
and returned - water

the hall sings with us
at every concert
every moment in this action
priceless
every moment is glued to the heart
forever

Someone else's pain

Dm - A# - F - A

Selfishness, silence, indifference, coldness
This is what I see in the eyes of millions

4 But still there is hope 9.

04 burning that there will be more birds than rats..
That there is nothing in the world
that would be equally divided
After all, even life never
breaks in half..
And if the war marches through the city
Someone dares to say "No pasaran!"

someone else's pain
it's not your problem
someone else's death
it's not your trouble
turn away and leave
without holding out your hand
remain silent, close your eyes

compassion, love, understanding, faith
this is what I'm looking for in the eyes of millions
and yet all Souls are stained with gray
there is hope to find, there is hope that
the world will become cleaner.0006

it's not difficult at all
it's not difficult at all
you just have to dare to break
you just have to dare start
with yourself. and you
can become a stranger to everyone

even to yourself.0004 I feel my pulse
I feel my pulse
and never ask God for anything
I just dance
I just laugh

F#m — D — A — E
how not to lose the wave?
not go under?
how to get up from your knees,
when you have no strength?
with Lucy in the clouds,
forgetting about fear. .
the rustle of the morning stars
in our headphones

apples are falling into the sky
the day will be hot
I feel the pulse
I feel the pulse
when there is nothing - nothing is a pity
I just sing
I wake up

how not to lose the wave?
not go under?
how to get up from your knees,
when you have no strength?
with Lucy in the clouds,
forgetting about fear..
the rustle of morning stars

STRONGER

we need to get stronger,
learn to hold the beats
not lie, not grow old,
get up for the first couple

at nine,
is much longer,
than if you oversleep until lunch)

and you can make it . .
because the whole world is not enough.
we need to get stronger,
learn to take punches

we should be silent,
when our loved ones are buried
go to the end
and remember the forgotten heroes

keep our honor
and firmly shake hands with each other
there is so much in us,
and we all will not leave the circle

we need to appreciate
all those who is of the same blood with us
learns to love
let them consider us fools

learn to forgive
and obey a wise conscience
give, give, let go
beautiful, open, worthy

will remain young forever,

while I'm still breathing
we will survive, we will fight again
and win!

don't break us!

executions, rockets

can't break us!
judges, ministers, kings
columns of heavy fire
ever higher flag on our ships

do not break us!
getting up, wipe the blood from your face
stand until the very end
while our hearts are burning!

don't break us!
here everyone is afraid of change
but we get up, get up off our knees
but we get up off our knees

Whales

Whales never age.
Whales are destroyed.
Thrown out onto the sharp shore.
Smiling.
Losing consciousness, dancing insane steps.
Whales smell the universe with their wounds.
They sing, bleeding through the larynx.
And after life they turn into clouds.

Whales don't give up.
The whales are fighting.
They do not forgive.
They say goodbye.
And the ocean roars with their despair.
They don't forgive. They say goodbye.

and see the sea every day

I wish I would like our sneakers
to stand in the hallway and we would confuse them every morning, running about our business
and in the evening we would sing together with a guitar
and see off the sunsets on the roofs

I would like you to always wake up with a smile
and one day
came out of the kitchen in a chintz dress
came out of the kitchen in a chintz dress
to me. music is always playing
where it is always warm and cozy

and I would like to wander
in the imagination of Tove Jansen
falling asleep on a cloud pillow
smiling at such happiness

To the rhythm of purple hearts

Hm G F#
Well, at least The sky can't be polluted
With your bottles, steers
We want the sky to be home

For those who fly

C#m A G#
We want the girls even in the morning
Don't spare us a smile
And the boys shaving at night, believing
that tomorrow they will certainly wake up

and there will be a new day
new dances, dreams, poems and songs
to the rhythm of purple hearts
you can’t stand still

Good, at least someone is still awake0004 Someone else is beating the drums
And going in the heat of his prayers
Flew out of a coma into nirvana
We want the sun to take off into the clouds
Give us eternal summer
We want to play the fool and not remember
about wounds, not to think about death

and there will be a new day
new dances, dreams, poems and songs
to the rhythm of purple hearts
you can’t stand still

Roof, boy and owl

A, E, F# m, D

The boy was walking, the owl was flying,
The roof was going home,
This roof did not want to
Sleep outside in winter.

Two camels were washing the saucers
And firewood was meowing,
I was waiting for the return
The roof, the boy and the owl.

The sofa is sleeping with me in an embrace,
The snow is dancing above my head,
Suddenly I hear - the button beeped
The boy with the roof and the owl!

I from this bimbom
Became a song for words,
I sing when everyone is at home -
Roof, boy and owl.

The boy was walking, the owl was flying,
The roof was going home -
That's what it was like
Wednesday evening in winter

(The song was written to the verses of J. Moritz)

we are the children of spring
we do not get older
and as long as there is at least a little more grass in the box
we never get tired of laughing

we burn bridges
and it's not scary anymore
and as long as we believe in our sick dreams
we don't get older

suddenly there is no more spring,
then none of them

tired of falling..
