"Sing" is a Sesame Street song first performed in Season 2 with English and Spanish lyrics as "Sing"/"Canta."

It has since been sung a number of times on the show, with many different singers, sometimes with just the English lyrics, and (on a couple occasions) in English and American Sign Language.

Like "Bein' Green," it too has become an American standard, having been performed by a number of pop artists (sometimes credited as "Sing a Song"). Of particular note, the Carpenters' recording adds a new second verse that has occasionally been used in Sesame Street and Muppet performances.

Drive without boredom

?

Previous Entry | Next Entry

a rare child likes to ride in a car and any long ride in general :) up to a year it's understandable: give breasts (if mom is not a driver :)) and sing nursery rhymes. And then?
We have a "car song" (picked up by me a long time ago from Sesame Street, and modified):
We're driving and singing a song,
We're driving with a big family!
The motor sings along with us - brumbrumbrum,
you, too, sing along with us!

broom broom broom broom broom broom broom broom
broom broom broom broom broom broom
broom broom broom broom broom broom broom broom
sing to us!

We are driving and singing a song,
We are going with a big family!
Tires sing along with us - shhh,
you also sing along with us!

Shhhh...

We're going by car and singing a song,
We're going with a big family!
Klaxon sings along to us - b-b-b,
You, too, sing along with us!

BBC...

We are going by car and singing a song,
We are going with a big family!
People sing along to us - la-la-la,
You, too, sing along with us!

La-la-la...

(Further on, all possible characters are listed - kitties "mur-mur-mur", etc. ).

We also play "river" - in the dark it is very good to imagine that the red headlights of cars standing on the road in a traffic jam are a "fiery river" from a fairy tale. It's beautiful to look from the bridge - the river is below, and we have to get across. And accordingly, around - fish, dolphins, ships and boats (depending on the dimensions of the cars). There is something to do in a traffic jam :).

How do you spend "computer time"?

APD: verses by heart - that's understandable :) we also take finger puppets, play (they drive and look out the window, make performances, etc.). What else?

Sing with Jimmy Why we love Fallon's music sections - Meduza

American comedian and TV host Jimmy Fallon loves to sing. And invite musicians to visit. And sing along with them (he also likes to giggle in embarrassment - for example, after learning that he had a chance to have a relationship with Nicole Kidman, although this, of course, is another story). Meduza has chosen the best musical numbers that the Jimmy Fallon show gave us.

Fallon's guests not only sing in the studio, but also participate in two regular columns: Classroom Instruments and A Cappella. The guest stars are assisted by the host himself and the legendary hip-hop group The Roots. In Classroom Instruments, they record cover versions on their own tracks to the accompaniment of children's instruments, and in A Cappella, as the title of the column suggests, they sing in unison without musical accompaniment. More videos to come, enjoy!
