45 DIY Thanksgiving Place Cards
There's something about seeing your name printed on a place card that just feels good. And it also can't be denied how helpful they are in figuring out seating arrangements (and avoiding that awkward moment where no one knows where to go). On top of that, decorative DIY Thanksgiving place cards can go a long way in sprucing up your table, even if you don't have any other decorations planned.
You can, of course, buy pre-made cards, but it's just as easy—and so much more impactful—to go the homemade route. If you're short on time, opt with something simple, like a printable template. Or, if you're planning ahead, try your hand at a more sophisticated craft, like an air plant wreath or gold-dipped leaves.
No matter which direction you go, you're bound to find something to elevate your table. To help guide your search for just the right thing to fit your theme, we've rounded up more than three dozen special Thanksgiving seating card ideas. Each and every one can be put together quickly (yup, even if you waited until the last minute) and will take your autumnal decor to an Instagram-worthy level, so instead of stressing, you can spend the day connecting with loved ones, creating new traditions, and, of course, cozying up to Thanksgiving movies.

- Help cut out the turkey face using a paper plate. You can ask your little one to color it brown on both sides before putting it in the basket. Set it aside to dry.
- Once the paint is dry, let your baby glue on the bulging eyes.
- Make a small triangle for the nose and tongue and help your baby glue them onto the turkey's face. Now glue the turkey's face to one end of the basket, which will be the front of the basket and help form the body of the turkey.
- Cut out lots of colored paper and ask your child to write down the things they are most grateful for or the names of people they would like to thank.
- Now pin these leaves to the basket to make a full turkey with bright feathers.

Thanksgiving is a time to greet family and friends and meet many of them after a long time, so it's important that you prepare your little one for the same.
You will need:
- Nothing like this
Like:
- Make sure your little one knows who is who by teaching him the same thing beforehand.
- You can show your baby the family albums and point to the pictures that say the name by which your baby should address the relative.
- To make sure your little one is comfortable reaching out to a relative for Thanksgiving, start doing this at least a few weeks in advance.
This is an amazing Thanksgiving activity for preschoolers, isn't it?
