Kindergarten theory and practice No. 11/2015. Practice of interaction between kindergarten and family

Numbers for 2015
D Kindergarten and family are the most important social institutions involved in the formation of a child's personality. The problem of their interaction has been raised since the opening of the first kindergartens and has traditionally been recognized in the theory and practice of domestic preschool education as relevant. Changes in society, family and educational policy of the state left their mark on the nature of the relationship between teachers and parents, changed the conceptual approaches to organizing the work of a kindergarten with a family, but did not remove the need to resolve issues of their interaction.
Today, the relationship between a preschool educational organization and the family is considered as a relationship of social partnership. The cooperation of the kindergarten with the family is one of the basic principles of preschool education. Teachers are focused on increasing the openness of the educational organization and constructive interaction with the parents of pupils as equal participants in educational relations, on supporting their initiative and activity through involvement in the management of the educational process and directly in educational activities.
The issue is dedicated to the practice of interaction between the kindergarten and the family. The main ideas of the new philosophy of interaction between these social institutions are outlined. The essence and specifics of partnerships between teachers and parents of preschoolers are revealed, the conditions for their effectiveness are determined.
Educational needs, requests and expectations of modern parents, their attitude to kindergarten and readiness for business partnership with teachers are analyzed. The issues of developing cooperation between a preschool educational organization and a family are considered, including problems and prospects for ensuring the openness of preschool education: involving parents in the educational process and involving the parent community in the management of an educational organization.
Much attention is paid to the forms of interaction between teachers and parents as equal participants in educational relations. The importance of using interactive forms of interaction in working with the family is shown, their features are highlighted. Recommendations are given for organizing discussions, family living rooms, clubs, projects, games and other interactive forms of interaction between teachers and parents. The possibilities of socio-communicative technologies in the development of social partnership between kindergarten and family are demonstrated.
The historical and pedagogical experience of interaction between the organizers of preschool institutions and the parents of pupils at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries is comprehended. The experience of preschool institutions in Japan and the USA in this area is analyzed. The forms of interaction with the family are described. The role of educators in the development of partnerships with parents is revealed. Examples of their participation in the life of Japanese and American kindergartens are given.
