Read the tale of the fisherman and the fish online

The tale of the fisherman and the fish tells us about an old man in whose net a golden fish was once caught. The fish spoke to him in human language and promised to fulfill his desire, which the old woman insisted on. So the old woman got a new trough, but it was not enough for her ... She asked for more and more ... As a result, the old woman was left with nothing, and the expression "stay with nothing" firmly established itself in Russian culture.

An old man lived with his old woman
At the very blue sea;
They lived in a dilapidated dugout
Exactly thirty years and three years.
The old man was fishing with a net,
The old woman was spinning her yarn.
Once he threw a seine into the sea -
A seine came with one mud.
Another time he threw a net -
A net with sea grass came.
For the third time he threw a net -
A net came with one fish,
With not a simple fish - gold.
How the goldfish will beg!
He says in a human voice:
"Let me go, old man, to the sea!
I’ll pay off dearly for myself:
I’ll pay off with anything you want.
The old man was surprised, frightened:
He fished for thirty years and three years
And he didn’t hear the fish speak. "God be with you, goldfish!
I don't need your ransom;
Go to the blue sea,
Walk there in the open air."

The old man returned to the old woman,
He told her a great miracle:
"Today I caught a fish,
A golden fish, not a simple one;
The fish spoke our way,
Asked to go home in the blue sea,
Paid off at a high price:
Paid off with whatever I wished
I did not dare to take a ransom from her;
So he let her into the blue sea. "
The old woman scolded the old man:
"You fool, you simpleton!
You didn't know how to take a ransom from a fish!
If only you could take a trough from it,
Ours is completely split.

Here he went to the blue sea;
He sees that the sea is slightly raging.
He began to call a golden fish.
A fish swam up to him and asked;0005 "What do you want, old man?"
The old man replies to her with a bow:
"Have mercy, madam fish,
My old woman scolded me,
The old man does not give me peace:
She needs a new trough;
Ours is completely split."
The goldfish answers:
"Do not be sad, go with God.
You will have a new trough."

The old man returned to the old woman,
The old woman has a new trough.
The old woman scolds even more:
"You fool, you simpleton!
Begged, fool, a trough!
Is there a lot of self-interest in the trough?
Come back, fool, you are to the fish;
Bow to her, ask for a hut. "

So he went to the blue sea
(The blue sea became clouded).
He began to call a goldfish.
A fish swam up to him and asked:
"What do you need, old man?" the old man replies with a bow:
"Have mercy, lady fish!
The old woman scolds even more,
The old man does not give me peace:
The grumpy woman asks for a hut.
The goldfish answers:
0005 So be it: you will have a hut."

He went to his dugout,
But there is no trace of the dugout;
In front of him is a hut with a lamp,
With a whitewashed brick chimney,
With oak, hewn gates.
An old woman sits under the window,
What the world is worth scolding her husband:
"You fool, you straight simpleton!
Begged, simpleton, a hut!
Come back, bow to the fish:
I don’t want to be a black peasant woman,
I want to be a pillar noblewoman.”

The old man went to the blue sea
(Restless blue sea).
He began to call a goldfish.
A fish swam up to him and asked:
"What do you need, old man?"
The old man replies to her with a bow:
"Have mercy, madam fish!
The old woman has become madder than before,
The old man does not give me peace:
She does not want to be a peasant woman
She wants to be a pillar noblewoman."
The goldfish answers:
"Don't be sad, go with God."

The old man returned to the old woman,
What does he see? High tower.
His old woman is standing on the porch
In an expensive sable shower jacket,
A brocade on the dome,
Pearls weighed down her neck,
Gold rings on her hands,
Red boots on her feet.
In front of her are diligent servants;
She beats them, drags them by the chuprun.
The old man says to his old woman:
"Hello, lady noblewoman!
Tea, now your darling is happy."
An old woman shouted at him,
She sent him to serve at the stable.

Another week passes,
The old woman got mad even more;
Again sends the old man to the fish:
"Go back, bow to the fish:
I don't want to be a pillar noblewoman.
But I want to be a free queen."
The old man was frightened and pleaded:
"Why are you eating henbane, woman?
You can't step or speak.
You'll make the whole kingdom laugh."
The old woman got more angry,
She slapped her husband on the cheek.
"How dare you, muzhik, argue with me,
With me, a columned noblewoman?
Go to the sea, they tell you with honor;
If you don’t go, they’ll lead you involuntarily.”

The old man went to the sea
(The blue sea turned black). replies:
"Have mercy, lady fish!
My old woman rebels again:
She no longer wants to be a noblewoman,
She wants to be a free queen.
Welcome! the old woman will be queen!"

The old man returned to the old woman,
Well? in front of him are the royal chambers,
In the chambers he sees his old woman,
She sits at the table as a queen,
Boyars and noblemen serve her,
They pour overseas wines for her;
She eats a printed gingerbread;
There is a formidable guard around her,
Axes are held on her shoulders.
As the old man saw, he was frightened!
He bowed at the feet of the old woman,
Said: "Hello, formidable queen!
Well, is your darling happy now?"
The old woman did not look at him,
She ordered him to be driven out of sight.
The boyars and nobles ran up,
The old man was pushed behind her.
And the guards ran up at the door,
Almost cut him down with axes,
And the people laughed at him:
"See you right, old ignoramus!
From now on, you ignoramus, science:
Don't get into your sleigh!"

Here's a week, another one passes,
The old woman got even more mad:
The courtiers are sending for her husband.
They found the old man, brought him to her.
The old woman says to the old man:
"Come back, bow to the fish.
I don’t want to be a free queen,
I want to be the mistress of the sea,
To live in the ocean-sea,
To serve me a golden fish
And be on my parcels. to say.
"What do you want, old man?"
The old man replies to her with a bow:
"Have mercy, madam fish!
What should I do with the damned woman?
She no longer wants to be a queen,
Wants to be the mistress of the sea:
To live for her in the ocean-sea,
So that you yourself will be her served
And would have been on her parcels.
The fish said nothing,
Just splashed its tail on the water
And went into the deep sea.
He waited for a long time by the sea for an answer,
He did not wait, he returned to the old woman
Look: again there is a dugout in front of him;
His old woman is sitting on the threshold,
And in front of her is a broken trough.

Fairy tales for children are one of the very first literary works that young readers get acquainted with. The roots of these stories go far into antiquity, but they do not lose their relevance today. Children believe in magic, in reincarnation, in the victory of good over evil, in the existence of good wizards, and it is children's fairy tales that give rise to this belief - pure, naive, bright, at the same time instructive and educating. Most often, animals are the main characters, so popular works also instill love for our smaller brothers.
The site mishka-knizhka.ru contains a fabulous collection - a real magical wealth for the children of domestic and foreign authors, Russian folk tales and tales of the peoples of the world, illustrated and printed without abbreviations. Through such works, kids get to know the world and learn to distinguish good from bad, highlight the positive and negative qualities of a person, form their correct position in life. They learn the rules of conduct, the way of life of their own and other countries. The benefits of a children's fairy tale can hardly be overestimated, and the huge variety and popularity is a direct confirmation of this. The whole section is completely at your service, so you won’t have to look for a long time what to read with your child. A convenient online format will allow you to use the site, read with your child anytime and anywhere, even if you are in transport or waiting in line. Spend time with benefit, plunging into the world of unique reincarnations.
Reading is an important stage of learning. At an early age, children can listen to adults and look at illustrations, imagining unprecedented colorful pictures, empathizing with the characters, trying to find clues, draw logical chains and draw conclusions.
