all through the town..
The money on the bus goes, Clink, clink, clink;
Clink, clink, clink;

The money on the bus goes, Clink, clink, clink,
all through the town.
The Driver on the bus says "Move on back,

For parents
School buses travel approximately 4 billion miles and carry more than 25 million kids each year. Clean School Bus is a national program to help communities reduce emissions from older diesel school buses. One simple (and economical) solution: a policy to reduce bus idling while waiting for students at the end of the school day.
For kids
Motor vehicles—including cars, trucks, and busses—cause air pollution. So when you take a bus, join a carpool, or ride your bike, you are helping to reduce air pollution. Check out today’s air quality in your community and challenge yourself with the Access online professional development supported by NIEHS to learn about environmental public health.
For teachers
Ultrafine particles from vehicles, known as UFPs, can have significant effects on health. A Spring 2014 workshop, cosponsored by NIEHS and the Energy Future Coalition, highlighted some of the research on the topic supported by NIEHS and other institutions.

The right of free travel for children under seven years of age
Komiavtotrans reminds you of the nuances of free travel for children under seven years of age.
Parents should be aware that free travel is provided without providing a separate seat for the child. This means that a child traveling on public transport without paying does not have the right to take a separate seat. Parents or those accompanying the child are required to keep him on his knees.
If more children under the age of seven are traveling with an adult, the option to bring a child without a seat can only be used for one. This restriction is related to the safety of transportation - the child must ride sitting.
If the trip of a child without providing a separate seat in transport is prohibited, parents or accompanying persons have the right to transport two children under twelve years of age with a discount on payment - the fare is set to no more than 50% of the established full fare.
Supporting documents. The requirement of the conductor or driver to present a document confirming the right of the child to travel free of charge - a birth certificate, is legitimate. The legitimacy of this requirement is noted by the same Article 21 of the Federal Law of the Charter of Transport. Therefore, you should not be outraged by the legal requirements of the conductor or controller - the passenger must have documents confirming the child's right to free travel.
The child, not the parent, has the right not to pay the fare. Whoever travels with a child under the age of seven, he enjoys the right not to pay for the trip.
Preschoolers and children under seven years of age are different concepts. Children under the age of 7 have the right to travel free of charge. The fact that they have already gone to school or not yet does not matter.
What can be carried free of charge on city buses:
- one piece of hand luggage, the total length, width and height of which does not exceed 120 cm
- one pair of skis in a case
- children's sleds pram
- guide dog
What are the safest places on public transport?
City bus
Safe seats: the rightmost seats in the middle of the passenger compartment, located in the direction of travel, as they are further away from oncoming traffic.
Dangerous places: on the first two rows of seats, as foreign objects and fragments often fly into the huge windshield. The same applies to places near windows and doors. The rear row of seats is dangerous in the event of a rear impact.
Minibus
Safe seats: located with your back in the direction of travel, as there is less chance of hitting your head on the back of the seat during heavy braking.
Dangerous places: at windows and doors, as in case of an accident they can cut, crush with broken glass. As in a car, places near the driver should be avoided.
Trolleybus
Safe places: in the right lane near the aisle (in case of right-hand traffic), as the oncoming traffic moves on the left, and therefore there is less chance of getting hurt. Seats in the middle of the cabin, located with their backs in the direction of travel, are also considered safe.
Dangerous places: just like in fixed-route taxis, you should not sit at windows and doors so as not to suffer from glass fragments.
How to transport a stroller with a child on the bus?
The buses with a low platform (no steps) are ideally suited for trips with a pram. Then the stroller will easily go inside the cabin. You need to go through the second door - pay attention, usually there is a sticker with a stroller next to it.
1. In order to comfortably and safely get on the bus, you need to lift the far wheels of the wheelchair, then lower them to the floor of the bus and, leaning on them, bring the wheelchair into the passenger compartment. This is not difficult, since there are no steps and the stroller does not need to be lifted.
2. Next, install the wheelchair in the corner, on a spacious storage area - it is just designed for passengers with wheelchairs and other groups of citizens with limited mobility. Mom herself stands next to the stroller and fixes it, holding on to the handrail.
3. Be sure to prepare in advance for the exit to the desired stop.
4. First, mother comes out - on her back, then she takes the stroller out. If you do the opposite, then there is a risk of the stroller tipping over or being pinched by the doors if they suddenly close automatically.
What to take with you when traveling by bus?
Bus travel is not a space flight, but you need to prepare for it no less carefully. While driving, you will be sealed in a rather small space of your seat, so it is worth taking care in advance that everything you need is at your fingertips. Here is a short list to guide you:
1. A small handbag or body purse with the most valuable things;
2. Documents, money, tickets, cards, smartphone and so on;
3. Backpack or bag with things you might need;
4. Items for sleeping: earplugs, light mask, blanket or jacket, air pillow;
5. Entertainment: smartphone, book, player, tablet;
6. Medicines that may be useful to you in case of motion sickness, poisoning, or which are prescribed by a doctor;
7. Water and, if necessary, a small snack: nuts, energy bars, sweets.
Have a nice trip!
What to do on the bus?
We spend a lot of time in transport and this time should not be wasted. Therefore, "Komiavtotrans" has selected for you several options to pass the time on the road with benefit.
Games. The choice of mobile applications is so rich that you can find entertainment for every taste. But it's better if it's crossword puzzles, crossword puzzles and Japanese Sudoku puzzles. They will help you develop logic and train your memory.
Music. It does not give any work to the brain, which means that it does not fully occupy your attention, no matter how thoughtfully you listen to it. Audiobooks are another matter. It's both convenient and productive!
Reading. Now there are many applications for gadgets that allow you to read directly from the screen. But we advise you not to abuse it, so as not to strain your eyesight.
Learning new things. For example, "free" time in transport can be devoted to learning a foreign language.
Finally, enjoy the view from the window.
How to sleep on the bus?
Sleeping on the bus is not an easy task, but you must admit that when you go to work, study or business early in the morning, you want to take a nap. We have prepared a small life hack on how to get comfortable in your chair:
1. Standard pose. You sit in a chair, in a relaxed state, with your head resting on the back of the seat. There is one thing, the lack of lumbar support can cause you back pain. Therefore, we move on to pose number 2.
2. Pose "Shrimp". Tilt the back of the seat as far back as possible and lie on one side, bending at the waist and pulling your legs towards you. In this position, your back will not hurt and you can sleep well. Just check with your neighbor if he is going to sleep in the same way.
3. Leaning against the window. Many passengers specifically sit by the window, as it can be used as a headrest. This is not very comfortable in terms of shaking, so use something as a pillow.
4. On the neighbor's back. If the back of the adjacent seat is set higher than yours, you can use its end as a pillow.
To relieve neck strain and for a more comfortable sleep, we recommend taking special inflatable pillows on the road, as well as changing body position more often.

Here we are sitting in the bus
And we are sitting and we are sitting
And we are looking out of the window
We are all looking!
Looking back, looking forward
Like this, like this
Well, the bus is not lucky
Not lucky?
The wheels are spinning
Like this, like this
We rolled forward
Like this!
And the brushes rustle on the glass
Whack-whack-whack, whack-whack-whack
All the droplets want to sweep away
Whack Whack Whack!
And we're sitting around for a reason
Beep-beep-beep, Beep-beep-beep,
We're all humming loud and loud
Beep-beep-beep!
Let the bus shake us
That's it, that's it
We're going, we're moving forward
That's it!
